Slater, still juiced from beating the leagues' worst facial hair,
goes after the leagues worst overall hair.
The Avery routine in the box afterwards,
was about as unimpressive as the fight itself.

"And he puts him down!" Yeah, right. Hartnell threw all the punches. Funny to see Hartnell taunting Slater in the box with the baby cries. End result: Flyers lose back-to-back to the Thrashers.

I strongly feel that if you're doing the taunting and the talking...that you've got to be able to back-up your mouth.
Slater with all the yapping but obviously did not do his homework and came unprepared for the unexpected.
I can't fault Hartnell..the guy was in his face and he out-drew Slater with the gloves.
As for Slater's yapping in the box...the more he talked..the worse it got for him.
Sometimes you say more when you say less !!

tim13,

I will apologize to you on behalf of everyone that voted for Slater. I am sorry people didnt vote hartnell for landing back of the head punches. I am also sorry that your life is so sad that you are offended by the 'voting process' on a hockey fight. I am also sorry that you will read this while not having a wife or girlfriend, and have not gotten laid in quite some time. I will further apologize that this is in fact all you have an I may have taken it away from you. Actually strike that, i'm not sorry for that. Nor am I sorry for voting for Slater out of spite. Knob.

Lol at Hartnell "WAAAAH WAAAAH" to Slater. Still can't figure out what Slater was crying about, the douche Hartnell kicked his azz pretty much.

Taking my shot at what "brokenleg" is going to say..."hartnell with the win in this tilt."

Even though he jumped him before Slater could even throw anything, as soon as Slater was able to Hartnell dove to the ice like a Chinese diver. Hartnell wins in the cowarding category.

Broadway star "ANNIE" does his usual routine, tries to throw a few quick punches and then when the fight gets ready to start he's down on the ice. What a girlie move. No pun ches of signifigance landed.

Slater just tackles Hartnell. Slater's stupid for saying he got jumped, he turned around and dropped his gloves. Poor loser.

Jimmy you gotta understand that if you chirp you're probably gonna get punched in the face.
Win for Hartnell. ps it looks as if he was trying to shed his lid too, but Slater came in too fast like a bat outta hell, dummy at least get a better shot in

Slater picks the fight, takes a face pounding and doesnt like it. Gets brave when the linesmen arrive. Win Scott Hartnell. Cheap maneuver by Slater rushing Hartnell as he's removing the helmet to make it fair.
