Kris Letang vs Darroll Powe

After two consecutive ''clean-ish'' hits by Powe,
Letang feels the need to intervene, and wrestle him to the ice.

Then, in an attempt to complete the ''over-reaction-tri-fecta'',
he throws a couple of cheap shots while they're on the ground..

In the end, nothing really happened...
except for some good, physical play, and of course,
Letang attempting to complete the Karmic opposite of a
Gordie Howe Hat-trick.

No points for wrestling,
no points for a take-down,
and certainly, no points for ground-punching.

Therefore...in more ways than one...this was a ''pointless'' draw.

Powe was hitting everyone that was moving. He was getting the best of Letang until being flipped over. Asham had a couple of sympathetic words for Letang--not!

Powe was a one man wrecking crew out there with a mission to hit anything that moved in white. Good on Letang to send the message and settle the kid down...edge to Letang.

Not much of a fight but again the whiney Philthadelphia cryer babies on this site are out in full force. Boo hoo your hood rat team is getting owned year after year by a much better organization. Crosby only had a point but that gives him 54 in 31 career reg season games against the cryers, keep up the lame crosby sucks chants. And when you cryer fans whine about diving, take a look at your own team. Anytime Hartnell is touched or looked at funny he goes down, and the little shove that 6'0" 180lb Goligoski was called for on 6'6" 220lb Pronger was a bs call. There were alot of bs calls both ways. happens every day, the better team plays on and always wins. Quit your whining and face it, Philly still sucks.

Sometimes a take down is a bailout... Powe was throwing punches, the camera got there late, letang threw one punch while they were on their feet .

After reading BGL's last blog, and I guess I'm one of the few who still likes him, I hesitate to say anything negative. But I can't help myself-a really crummy draw.
