What a weak move by Gleason after a pair of cheap shots (which is becoming a Carolina tradion) by Bayda.

Bayda with the elbow on an icing call. The Flyers tried to intimidae Letang and now the Hurricanes send out a guy with 2 minutes of playing time to do the same. I guess there is hatred here now.

Hard to actually call this a fight. Bayda gave Letang a CHEAP SHOT, and then a HIGH STICK and while Letang is trying to fiind Bayda Gleason jumped in, grabbed Letang, pulled him off the wall, and gave him some more CHEAP SHOTS. Gleason should have had an instigator penalty since he was the only one who actually "fought".

elbowing and cross-check was laid by Bayda. Gleason jumped into the brawl then.

If they gave Gleason and Instigator then Satan has to get one as well. He was throwing punches while Eaves was tied up in a vounrable postion. That was the cheapest of all the shots in this game. Either way FINALLY some real nastiness between these clubs.

ok i dont see how the bayda thing was such a big cheap shot it was the hockey equivilant of a love tap to the face. Gleason won this fight and gotta give tim some credit though not like he jumped letang he waited for him to get ready letang threw a bunch of shots with his gloves on so no one got jumped here i was dissapointed gleason didnt beat him worse. I'm wondering though whys everyone calling out carolina for being cheap here, didnt pits injure two hurricane players in the first game with some borderline cheap shots. Gleason wins. BUT, that's much easier to do when you jump a guy who's just been cheapshotted by another, isn't it? Carolina is overachieving in the playoffs, and willing to get dirty to do it. Boston, and maybe NJ, got surprised by it. Solution to that crap by better team with ultimate weapon: Eric Goddard introduces himself to Gleason and Walker in Game 3. I say the Pens can win the game even if they have to kill penalties, which they probably won't because Goddard's presence alone might keep those guys in line. Besides, team guys like Eric deserve some ice time in the playoffs.
