Laraque gets the grip he wants, and wastes no time dispatching Shelley.
Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein...
considering Shelleys' looks...coincidence?

Laraque controlled it. Shelley was looking for the rematch, but it didn't happen.

laraque is ONE of the best fighters but he need not complain, cause he's a fourth liner that should be glad he's still in the NHL! Not that he couldn't hold down a fourth line, but he should know that a montreal team of today isn't interested in putting in the enforcer fulltime! He should have stayed in the west if he wants more of that cause you see the scrappin more out there!

wow give bgl 2 mill a year heck give him 3 mill, shelly was at the end of a long shift when big goerge skated harder then he has all year to crank boil,he must of pulled a groin going that hard.but goerge looked mad, shelly is on a first place team and playing every game and the guys love him in the dressing room.

George killed him

One punch by Shelley landed, and 2 by Laraque. Balance problem for Jody as spot picker Laraque waited until the very end of Shelley's shift before blasting Boyle. Laraque normally has trouble with Shelley. All 5 prior meetings were either wins for JS, or a draw. Yeah, I'm a homer but this fight was too short .

PS: Gunslinger, you're an idiot. Everyone complains when their guy loses or is in a tough fight. They are our favorites and of course we're going to stick up for them. I know you fancy yourself as the self appointed czar of fighter rankings, but to me you're just a little guy with no life.

BGL with dropped the hammer on Shelley.

These two had a decent rivalry in the West when Georges was in Edmonton and Jody in Columbus. The last time they went Shelley dropped him but Laraque returns the favor this time with a nice TKO ... these guys match up well!!!

Laraque showed what can happen when the champ is motivated. He got everybody's attention.

And this is why bgl is the #1 fighter. Even if he seems to not do it enuff he's still tops and this dominationg beat down is an example why. Nuff said.
