Artyukhin just looked great there man, what a dominating fight, got him off balance and followed up with bombs. Only a big fat W for Artyukhin can be chosen. Come on.

TK just about got TKO'ed. That was a red-headed stepchild beating if I've ever seen one.

The russian needs to take off the visor if he wants to be a 'star' fighter. If he won't please put on a skirt.

whats the point of bgl even being on a hockey team anymore? was he even dressed? cause this big russiun should not be allowed to go beat guys up and wear a visor while he does it. To me this is why teams employ the likes of bgl, eg, orr ... so that when someone starts to think thay are tuff a couple shifts later they get a beatin. but thats just my opinion. oh yeah and a dominating "W" for the russian.

Kost was willing, but there was just too much ugly Russian. Arty with the beat-down... again.
As for the "visor" gripes I see, Arty is NOT AN ENFORCER. Watch all his fights. It will become apparent that he's trying to play hockey and then someone picks a fight with him, usually by cheap shots and rabbit punches. He doesn't start fights, he finishes them. Therefore, he has every right to wear a visor, if he so chooses.
Even so, this whole anti-visor movement you ladies are trying to invent is complete bogus. Safety is a good thing. If someone wants to take his lid off, or punch his visor, they're free to do so. I think Arty is ok with removing other people's lids.

Arty the win. And he did take off his bucket, AFTER THE FIGHT. What a punk. Someone needs to take a run at this guy.

No contest. Every time a Hab gets pounded, it's nice to watch.

Artie dummies another one... surprise of the year so far

For the visor haters, tell us all when Artyukin had a chance to remove his helmet.

I only give the Russian a 5 because anyone who claims to be or wants to be known as a tough guy should have guts enough to fight without a shield. What chance does the other guy ever have when he's punching plexiglass. Might as well punch the glass along the boards. An opponent should not have to face the additional step of ripping off a helmet before getting to it. Part of fighting is being able to take a punch and this just isn't present if the guys face is covered like Darth Vader. Anyone other than a usual "non-combatant" who does not remove a helmet with a shield before dropping the gloves is just a girly man, chicken crap, pussoi.

Talk about "taking one for the team", Tom are you nuts! That could be a career ending move. By NO means is TK a heavy weight.

That's not a visor - its a 3/4 length face shield... The guy looks like robocop. I'm hardly a fan of either team, but nobody in good conscience can vote Artyukhin a winner in this scrap.

Not even close Artyukhin by a country mile. He even had some great scoring chances. Maybe its time to lose the shield though...

Arty is like the russian fighter from rocky movie, He would destroy even the big boys with or without the visor, the visor has not stopped him from destroying every person he has fought this year.He is one big mean dude. A defensive end on skates.
