Yes Lucic wins. Do you think Lucic would have fought Godard? No I did not think SO.If you want to be a heavyweight fight a HEAVYWEIGHT!

Lucic is such a punk. I am so sick hearing excuses from the "Looch" lovers about how good or tough he is. He is the biggest "picker" in the league. he will only fight guys he knows he should beat and only when he wants too. Eric Godard didn't dress due to injury, so Lucic goes after a guy 25 lbs lighter than him at the end of a game while up by three goals. Wallace has a grand total of 2 PIMs with the Pens and 12 PIMs in the minors, yet he still bloodied Lucic.

He doesn't pull this crap with Godadrd around ,though he would NEVER drop 'em wit EG. let's hear from his followers and explain him picking a fight here but not fighting BGL because

a) coach said not to
b) Bruins were ahead so no right time
c) Bruins were behind so not right time
d) too early in game
e)too late in game...and on and on

Punk. Plain and simple

Lucic wins but props to Wallace!

Great fight. Lucic obviously wins, but Wallace has some huge balls.

I don't know how people can not like Lucic. If you look at it from just a pure hockey fight perspective, damnit he is entertaining and tough. Wallace however just became one of my favourite 3 players I think. Poor guy. Can't believe he stayed off his arse.

(I don't like it).

Win Lucic!.. Lucic should grow a set of balls and fight someone tough like Godard! Results would be different!

wallace did well for himself. he lost but managed to put up a resonable amount of resistance. on that note lucic with an easy "W".

Lucic has never lost a fight in the NHL. Didn't Erskine break his face last year. Hasn't fought a heavyweight since.

Lucic fight Goddard or Laraque or whatever goon? Have any of you ever played hockey? Or are you just haters? No I wouldn't want Lucic fighting them goons. Until last week he was on the first line you morons. The B's should find some steroid fueled monster in the minors to entertain other teams no talent goons.

Wallace showed a lot, he's trying to stay in the nhl and he fought one of the tougher guys in the league, win Lucic

I wish Paul Bissonnette wasn't back in the AHL, him versus Lucic would be good

Love to see both men follow the code and lose the buckets. Lucic won, but it wasn't dominating.

Lucic dominated as he should have given the size difference.

I have to say I agree with Cid. With the salary cap the days of the pure goons are over for teams competing for the Cup. Having a full line up of competent hockey players is now more important than hired gunslingers. Lucic is a well rounded, large player who is more important to his team on the ice rather than in the penalty box.

I'm tired of the <insert player> is afraid of <insert player> BS talk . They say the same thing about Brashear who has fought everyone, defeated them all (including BGL) and suddenly has no heart. Players have to pick their spots and not put their team down a man.

i guess lucic figured that goddard was out with an injury. payback will be tomorrow. at least one penguin has heart.,

Luchick once again finding someone not in the legitimate tuff guys category. Until he takes on BGL, Orr, Fritz, Godard or someone of equal badness, I have to rate him as a total beeyotch !
