Having lived in Montreal, I can vouch for the fact that Boullion has always been a tough little fire hydrant and often got the better of middleweights who underestimated his size. Not much happened here, but had they opened up, Ruutu would have had some problems. Cheap hit, even if it was on the less than likeable Lappierre..

Mikeb and gunslinger are you 2 serious. I guess your voting is based on factors that have nothing to do with the actual fight. Bouillon has nicer hair and Ruutu is dirty and I am mikeb so I will vote for Bouillon. Get a clue. Gunslinger grab your Darcy Tucker blow up doll and head back up to your room and proceed to do what you normally do and @#!$ some ex leafs leg you idiot !! Oh ya,the fight, draw, good job by Bouillon sticking up for his team mate, it looked like Ruutu was just waiting to get going. Anyone who does not see a draw in this fight should join gunsliner and his Tucker doll in his room.

Pretty much a nothing fight. Ruutu can throw em when he has to. He's actually a pretty underrated middleweight. The elbow wasn't very nice of him, but it looked like he had Lapierre lined up, then he moved a little bit. Roots was just trying to still get a piece of him and extended his arm/elbow a bit. Not making excuses for him, still kinda dirty.

i guess this kills Ruutu's chance at the Lady Bing, i would've pegged him, Avery and Tootoo as the finalists

ripper20 - When does he square up with a legitimate tough guy?
He fought Lucic last season.

Screw Ruutu and his brother and everyone like them!

What's wrong with his brother? He hits hard, but clean, and has probably ruined his own career by getting hurt so often. But he hits like a truck.

Bouilon with a take down. but the fight was even. Ruutus hit was huge.

The announcer says it all, Ruutu needs to be suspended and made an example of. How may focking times do you see a Ruutu, Cooke, Burrows, or Kaleta throw a cheap shot like that and nothing happens? Suspend the jerk for like 20 games, send a message!

I give Bouillon the win, he's like half of Ruutu's size and threw some punches. Screw Ruutu and his brother and everyone like them!

Ruutu is a hack. When does he square up with a legitimate tough guy? Never. He is one of the dirtiest players around, he runs people then runs and hides most of the time, unless he can find an undercard oponent to drop the gloves with. Ruutu might have landed a couple short ones, but this gets a draw because he's a hack.

big dirty player hits little dirty player. It happens!
Ruutu was very close to getting a beat down from BGL but luckily engaged with the scrappy little frenchman

I liked Ruutu a whole lot when he played for us(Pens), he always seemed a little psychotic and disturbed (like a Flyer fan) but he never could fight. Good luck to Jarrko.

Ruutu cheap shot...simply wow if the league doesn't do something.

The Pitbull comes through once again. Bouillion might not be 6' tall but the little guy is hard as nails, and Ruutu is well aware of it.
