Mike Brown vs Ben Eager

Gotta give it to Brown for what he did in the beginning. Cause I'm not counting all those little uppercuts he thew after that, cause he didn't connect with one of em'. But Eager didn't land anything the entire fight. Win - Brown

Brown with the single leg take down? Seriously, looked like Brown connected with a few of those upper cuts, didn't see much from Eager. Supprised to see Eager fight without the other guy drawing an instigator, usually he just likes to hit and run. REALLY don't like Eager, perhaps Wizzer and Burish will pull him into the locker room and teach him a lesson....wishfull thinking I guess..

I hate that sound the Hawks have when one of their players throws a punch... it is annoying and very inacurate win brown

Brown gets the decision for being a SPAZ.....Eager was hanging on for dear life.......He didn't want to get worked by the energizer bunny.

Ben Eager lost a fight ??? No way, I don't believe it ! Being serious for a minute, with all the young talent the Hawks have, they think Eager is going to be a a legit tuff guy ? He would last 15 seconds against a Boogaard, Biz Nasty or McIntyre. He's a joke.

Brown won, but he is horrible to watch. It's like he learned to fight on an NCAA wrestling scholarship, always looking for the takedown.

It wasn't so good fight but Brown did nice job though.
He controlled the fight at the start to the end.
He was more active pucnher, did land enough much for the EDGE.

Mike Brown is without question one of the best fighters in the NHL. If you don't believe me, check his fight log over the past 2 seasons. I have no idea how Vancouver doesn't have this guy in the line-up every night.

Eager is a good banger - bad fighter. Hawks don't have much else. And they don't want to waste a roster spot on another David Koci.
