I think we now have visual evidence that hockeyfights.com influences the game. Stortini read so many people ripping on his love-fest hug style that he decided to step back and throw a little. Good job hockeyfight community and good job Storts for being open to suggestion.
And while we're at it, good job to the announcer for throwing in the Slap Shot reference.

give it up stortini. hordi has won all 3 bouts with you this year, but you have improved from the first bout.
WIN- HORDI

stortini hung in there, looked better than normal for sure. hordy still tagged him hard at least three times. stortini had hordy blind and tangled in his pads, but couldn't do anything. hordy comes back and lays a shot on the chin. i don't think stortini has a future in this league.

Yep. Stortini stayed in there, threw some garbage punches with the jersey over Hordichuk's head, and almost succeeded in seeing Hordi naked, which I think was his ultimate goal. He got his a$$ kicked again. I'm waiting for another Stortini-Parros go. They'll hug for ten seconds, maybe exchange kisses, then fall on top of each other. Can't wait.

Hordi rocks. Even with the sweater over the head he doesn't give up. Good uppercut by Stortini with Hordichuk doing his imitation of a headless horseman. Great shot by Hordi before that happens and a bomb when they go down. Win Hordichuk, but nice to see Stortini at least throwing.

Hordichuk has all the tools of a top fighter except the scary size and reach. Stortini is big, energetic ... but one of these days he's going to get KOed right out of hockey.

Stortini 2-14-4 for the year!!!!!! Both wins were against Martin La Pointe, no doubt worst fighter in the last 10 years. Makes Doug Murray look like Dave Brown

Hordichuck all the way here, demonstrating better hands and more pop even buckling Stortini early. Props to Zack for fighting through in a pretty good scrap, not a bad loss at all.

Pretty good scrap. I Called it a Draw it looked Hordi caught him with one on the jaw though.

Win to Hordichuk. Stortini fancies himself a heavyweight, but can't even beat middle weights.
