Close one, could give Lappy a slight edge. I called it a draw. Both guys are scrappy players that you hate unless they are on your team. I'll take 'em both on mine.

Lappy did better job a nice ending landing couple nice ones.
He got narrow win.

Hollweg is a tough kid, but he is no fighter. Laperriere with the win.

Hey mailman, when did he get suspended. Also, if you are going to chirp a player that has more courage then you ever have (way to beak a guy online) be right about it. One of the dirtiest "slashes" not crosschecks ever delivered by a man with a gutless reputation, and he shook it off in the media like it was no big deal. What has Simon done lately. Oh right, 30 more games the NHL doesnt want him to be part of. He may not win every fight but he shows up and does his job between the whistles.

Hollweg was dominated. End of discussion.

If you watched the NY feed you would see a different fight. hollweg actually landed the two best punches of the fight and busted lappy's nose a bit. i have never seen him win a fight but he didn't lose this one which is a plus. DRAW

I have no clue why the Rangers continue to waste a roster spot with Hollweg. He's a no talent cheap shot artist who's lost pretty much every fight he's ever been in. This fight was typical, seeing Hollweg suffer another beat down.

I remember that one time in 1994 when Hollweg won a fight.

Lappy with the W, Im surprised it wast a better bout both players are tough and scrappy middle/light heavys, but it looked like hollweg was just another kid in the old mans way Way to go lappy. now all colorado needs to do is keep parker dressed and thats one hell of a line if they get on one!

its about time Ryan got into is "ROLE" rather than trying to be a "Gretzky" . When you do that. The coach will bench you or demote you to 4th line. or AHL. Ian does he job good, and he never tries to be someone he is not. But i bet EA sports NHL 2009 is going to be a FIGHT FEST. they tried to make 2007 into "GRETZKY-Colin Campbell" were next to nobody Droped the gloves (jackman,Regher,Brashear, all the goon suspects). the only prob. with 2008 is Glitches up the wahhzoo. . and alot of (Bots, 2 of the same player) not even Carillo of PHX drops the gloves. turn out they put him as a Fighting:Never??? yea right so his stats have over 100 PIM from last year.
