Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Sep 18, 2007 Ottawa Senators Brian McGrattan
1pd 07:40 Philadelphia Flyers Martin Grenier
Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and McGrattan starts throwing rights off the bat. McGrattan continues to fire away with the right hand while Grenier tries to set up. Grenier sneaks in a short uppercut and McGrattan returns fire with more rights to the side of Grenier's helmet. They tie up and Grenier switches hands, connecting with a short left. McGrattan returns fire with a few more rights and they then hold on until the linesmen intervene.

McGrattan wins again. Never really landed anything too damaging. But he definitely landed quite a few more shots than Grenier. Grenier only landed one weak shot. Clear win for Brian.

All McGrattan. Grenier looked very uninterested in actually throwing punches and focused a lot on tying Brian up and avoiding punches. To his credit, he didnt take any flush punches from McGratts, just a lot of grazing or missing shots. But, he only threw one or two - with almost nothing on them.

Clear W to McG.

from what ive seen Gratts domintated.......... grenier looked lost, the sens need to rely on Gratts toughness and stop tring to rely opn their skilled players to get into scraps especially with them playing Pitts and NY so much

That was a terrible fight. Any punches landed??? I hate it when you get two big lugs out there who can't skate, try and throw punches. Why did they fight???? Get guys like Mcgrattan, Peters, Boogaard out of the game.

mudmucker and pow pow are retarted like if you you take the big guys out there would be no enforcers to protect star players and there are good fights not this one and fights are there to get a momentum boost so they shouldnt just fight when there mad

Mcgratts landed a few big shots and Grenier bascially tried not to get hit anymore. The rest of the fight was him tying up the jersey and wrestling. Good for Big Mac to give him a go, he knows he is trying to make and impression. Same boat he was in a few years ago.

this is the bad side of hockey when two heaveyweights feel its their duty to go fight for no reason whatsoever. Two guys that are not mad, and have no reason to fight, equals this crap fight.
