Apr 20, 2007 Tampa Bay Lightning Andre Roy
3pd 18:27 New Jersey Devils Michael Rupp
Comments: Roy checks Andy Greene into the boards and then continues to pester him with a shove and a face wash with his left glove. Rupp skates over and taps Roy with his stick. They drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. They grab ahold of each other and Rupp starts things off with a right that comes up short while Roy fights to keep his balance. They exchange simultaneous rights and Rupp follows up with two more rights to the back of a bent over Roy. Roy returns fire with a jumping right. Rupp gets Roy bent over again and connects with a right to the side of his helmet. Rupp gets Roy's helmet off and then throws an overhand right just before Roy falls to his knees. Roy works his way back up to his feet and then gets his right hand free from Rupp's grasp while his jersey slowly comes off. Roy lands a right to the back of Rupp's helmet, but the linesmen interrupt things once Roy's jersey is completely off. Other Penalties: Roy received a game misconduct.

Who would have thought Rupp would win this one?

Great Job by Rupp sticking up for his guys. Without Janssen in the line-up, Rupp stepped up!

I was just cracking on Rupp, but this was the best fight of his career. He beat an OK fighter in this one.

Roy was a weak in this one.
Rupp gets surprising win over him by landing few punches.
When Roy missed with a big one, as Rupp gets a good hold of him.
In the end Roy would can to make a come back.
Rupp narrow win.

Don't know what's happened to Roy but he doesn't seem to win anymore. should never lose to a guy like Rupp, but he did

Eh it's an okay fight Roy didn't do anything to stand out and Rupp for not fighting much did pretty decent nice move to get Roy's jersey off of him thou.

Roy cannot fight.

Andre Roy used to be a decent heavyweight until Colton Orr worked him over. Now he's just plain boring to watch in a scrap. If he's not getting hit then he's trying to stay on his feet long enough to throw a punch

Mike Rupp clearly dominated this one. There is no question about it. I was at this game, and this is one of the best fights by Mike Rupp Ive seen in a long time. I agree with he person way down. Rupp took away his jersey, along with his manhood.
