Oct 22, 1998 San Jose Sharks Ronnie Stern
1pd 01:30 Chicago Blackhawks Cam Russell
Comments: These two drop their gloves and immediately start throwing toe to toe, Stern with his left and Russell with his right. They both look to land a few solid punches, but then Stern buries his head into Russell's chest. Russell uses the advantage to tag him with an uppercut. He follows this with a hard right that connects and sends Stern to his knees. As Stern gets back up, the linesmen intercede and end the fight.

A short but good toe to toe scrap.
Stern started well but Russell took over clearly later as he shakes up Stern on his few shots.
R.Stern was a CLEAR winner.
