Mr. Lebate: 1. 6'4" 176? Eat a sandwich. 2. Learn to skate. 3. Don't do this type of thing.

reaves just over powers labate who luckily fall before getting destroyed

Labate jumped on Reaves during a skirmish earlier in the game when the game was still undecided. Reaves got out of there. During the game Labate kept pestering Reaves and I told the guys watching the game Reaves would catch him at the end of the game. Northlander said in his review that Reaves plays 3 minutes a game and only fights. He actually has learned to play hockey a little and doesn't make many mistakes while on the ice, 11 minutes that game. I believe his plus minus is a plus this season. Not bad for a so called goon...

LaBate is 6'4 205 but, he will never be in that top tier. He needs to pick his spots better or else he's going to end up getting himself hurt., Reaves for strength alone.

It looked like two kids fighting in the short bus.

Reaves with the win. Sure nothing landed, but the shove against ended LaBate. If that's all it takes, perhaps LaBate should focus on things that do not evolve pugilism, or not pick a fight with opponents of Reaves caliber. Just a thought.

LaBate needs the fight to keep a job and gets manhandled for his trouble. LaBate will never be in that class...

LaBate better work on his skill, because he ain't going to stay in the league by fighting. From what I've seen of him, he's eager, but doesn't win many.

First time seeing Reaves fight in person. Wish it would've lasted longer but he certainly didn't disappoint. I can't believe people are voting for LaBate as a winner.

LaBate acts tough until Reaves finally obliges him. Then suddenly, he finds his Bambi legs.

labate wanted piece of reaves but reaves exposed tall guy's balance issues before the fight started.reaves threw couple punches on labate's way down but didnt connect

LaBate acted like a btch over a clean stand up and got dropped like a btch

Posted by Hilaker on March 24, 2017 at 02:07 AM

That was a fight?

LaBate knew how this was going to end if he stayed on his feet. He decided to bail rather than take an azz beating.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 24, 2017 at 11:41 AM

We all know how this would have ended had a fight actually went down. No punches were landed so it's a Draw.

Whats with hockey players now... Can't fight and thing they fought when no punchs thrown,, should be made to crawl off the ice for trying to fight and falling down cause you can't... total embarassment and the players on the bench clap sticks lol,,, LaBate is a tough guy lol, give me a break. Theo Fleury would have handed him his ass.

Reaves plays what , 3 minutes a game ? he will soon lose his job when there is nobody left to fight , cause he sure can't play the game .
