Foligno puts the C in courageous as he takes on one of the league's few remaining legit heavies and doesn't get entirely killed in the process Great toe to toe anger and intensity until the process of natural selection inevitably kicks in sending him honourably to the ice As BigMike53 the most consistently accurate reviewer in here continues his impressive streak of never getting it wrong

Reaves picks up the win as he should. Foligno is a tremendous Captain and won't back away from anybody!

Captain fighting a 4th liner,.. doesn't get much more old school than that.. the Spirit of Hockey ain't dead yet.. #75 FTW

Good even scrap. Foligni is a pretty tough dude who, unlike Reaves, can actually play hockey.

The "C" on Foligno's jersey stands for Cojones. Period.

Posted by bhamill on November 07, 2016 at 11:42 AM

All Reaves. No real damage done.

Foligno's visor couldn't save him this time. Not total domination by Reaves but he definitely won this bout. I give it a 4

1 question, how many goals does reaves have in his career ???? Didnt think so.

Posted by SURESHOT27 on November 07, 2016 at 12:16 PM

if punching a helmet gets you a win, then Reeves, but due to the fact that Foligno ducked them all, I have to call it a draw.

Posted by slysi on November 16, 2016 at 04:39 PM

slight ...slight ...edge to Reaves

Posted by yngblonde1 on November 06, 2016 at 08:12 AM

Foligno 100% took this one for the team. Give him an "A" for effort but Reeves won the fight. Good job Nick.........

totally impressed by foligno here.he didnt try to hide (except the visor) at all and made it a close fight.much closer than i reaves though and 7

Props to Foligno for always answering the bell but in today's NHL (No Heavyweights Left), Reeves is one of the remaining legit pugilists. Reeves with the win.

Posted by burnsy9 on November 07, 2016 at 11:58 AM

I think the Captain was the only one who landed.

Posted by gmr133 on November 08, 2016 at 12:44 PM

In terms of actual punches landed, draw. Reaves leading the Blues to another Cup...oh wait. Never mind.

Posted by Humper on November 06, 2016 at 12:27 PM

Foligno gets praise for doing the right thing, and didn't fare too badly either. Reaves got a least one good shot for the win.

Posted by komet71 on November 06, 2016 at 09:43 AM

Foligno tried but couldn't hang with Reaves.

Posted by FHgrad99 on November 06, 2016 at 01:47 AM

I read that Torts wasn't too thrilled about Foligno dropping them against Reaves. Granted he's sticking up for a teammate but Reaves was too much for him here.

Posted by tomthescrew on December 15, 2016 at 07:50 PM

Kudos to Foligno, his old man would've done the same (only better). Can't wait for Reeves to be humbled

Finally a scrap I can at least vote on..... Reaves wins and takes a much more talented player off the ice. He did his job.

Posted by matthew.saito on November 05, 2016 at 09:05 PM

Not a whole lot landed. Reaves landed the only good punch, Fologno did a good job not getting killed.

Posted by bobafett5468 on November 08, 2016 at 01:24 PM

Foligno gave a much bigger Reaves a run for his money. Way to stand up for your teammates

Posted by boldbilly on November 06, 2016 at 07:35 AM

Here Foligno , bites off a little more than he can chew, honestly there was nothing wrong with the hit Folignoquite probably was trying to get his team going ...This however is no Nathan Beaulieu , The obvious win goes to Reeves, props to Foligno for surviving

Posted by Great Murray on November 06, 2016 at 01:17 PM

Better fight that the over-rated Domi 1 punch KO. Foligno stands in with a very tough customer in Reaves and holds his own. Both guys land good shot...I give Reaves the edge in a real good go.

Posted by buzzwell5 on November 07, 2016 at 08:56 AM

Props to Foligno for standing up to Reaves. Reaves probably got the better of him, but he should have. CBJ scored a minute or two after this fight.

Posted by msktmj on November 12, 2016 at 08:20 AM

Reaves never fights in his weight class. Must be nice to pick and choose.…

Posted by Snoka on November 06, 2016 at 10:37 AM

Props to Foligno for taking on a juicer

Posted by Westcoast_Goon on November 05, 2016 at 10:40 PM

Huge props to Foligno. Draw.

Posted by Sensfan_14 on November 09, 2016 at 11:49 PM

Who sees reaves winning here honestly? Nicky engages without hesitation and lands way more punchs, stands right infront of this monster and trades bombs with him but has much better technique using the rabbit punches. Reaves gets one real good shot in and foligno doesnt budg at all. Just because a guy thats 75 lbs heavier gets a take down doesnt mean he wins a fight. Pound for pound foligno is the best fighter in the league now and i know what people will say about that, but go back through his last 10 fights and most of them are landslide victories. Foligno with the W and also winning man of the year award for giving up that much size

Posted by SouthPaw017 on November 11, 2016 at 01:26 PM

I haven't seen Reaves that angry in a while, pure mean streak in this one. Those rights had a little extra zip on them, and he completely out-classed Foligno.

Posted by slambo on November 05, 2016 at 08:58 PM

Foligno is no sissy, but after a taste of Reaves power, his enthusiasm went running down his leg...Reaves/4

Posted by EK65 on November 05, 2016 at 11:02 PM

As much props as I give Foligno Ryan Reaves technically wins this fight.

Posted by lucic17 on November 05, 2016 at 11:22 PM

Again Foligno shows his leadership by taking a rather large step up in fighting class. Reaves wins over a rightfully cautious Foligno. Can't fault him for keeping his distance and bailing at the end-Reaves is just too powerful and Foligno can't afford to be hurt. Wish they still had Boll? Can't stand that shit eating grin Reaves always seems too happy to display. Easy when 95% of the legitimate heavyweights are out of the league.
