You didn't see this a lot, even in the heyday! Enough bad mouthing Petrovic! Give him credit for trying to even the score. Takes guts to go after a guy you already lost too...TWICE. Kudos Kane and also to the refs for letting them go!!!

Awesome blast from the past-three fights and a game misconduct. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. All Kane as Petrovic finally gets the beating he narrowly avoided in the first two fights. I was looking for this one because they still had unfinished business after two fights. When do they play again and will Petrovic take some boxing lessons or wisely not look for a rematch? Sweet

I like Petrovic, was onto a hiding and had a sore face but fair play to him for the go. Alas he lost convincingly here and never recovered from skating into the opening punch on the beak.

round 3 they were more cautious this time.kane wanted to make it 3-0 and petrovic wanted to win at least once.nice old school moment though.i dont remember when was the last time 2 guys fought each other 3 times in a game except for barch vs gallant in a pre-season game e few years back. and nobody expected it from these guys.kane had zero fights before this game and now he has 3 and petrovic doubled his number of fights this season in this game win kane but props to both guys for nice little series.hopefully they'll continue next time they play each other

the key to success in life is recognizing what skills you have and using them to the best of your ability. It would be wise for Alex to ponder his "fighting" skills and how he chooses opponents. Both seemed to be lacking on this night

Somewhere inside Petrovic's battered mind, he seems to have convinced himself without even coming close to consider questioning his decision in a case of extreme self-denial that it would be a good idea to fight Kane an innumerable amount of times in an attempt to "win" just once. Fortunately, Emperor Palpatine's, I mean Emperor Bettman's, "elite guard," save him from testing probability and most likely fate before he were to turn into a catatonic man, munching on smushed bananas in a lightless basement cell on the Bett Star.

Round 3 - In a old school twist both guys square up at center and remove their helmets. The announcers & Fans were both equally into this scrap. Both guys had big smiles on their face during/at the end of the fight. (And yeah the fans don't wanna see this right?) All Kane for the 3rd time. Unfortunately for Petrovic the night doesn't go so well in the fight department. I overall loved the scrap & 6. @Wooly love the star wars. @DOC love the comment. @TMH love the nostalgia

They remove their lids and have at it for round 3! Unfortunately for Petrovic this doesn't end up any better than the previous two. Kane catches him in the nose and cuts him above the eye to win this scrap. Kane had commented after the game they'd probably fight again if they didn't get thrown out after 3 fights. Great old school anger and another win for Kane.

Rd. 3. Always sketchy when one guy latches on and one guy is in no man's land trying to dodge the first punch. Alex eats one, and then doesn't get started after re-set. Kane used his reach advantage well all night.

Part 3 of the trilogy was all Kane. I don't think Petrovic got a single shot in this time but he took a couple of bombs from Kane.

When you lose 3 straight you'd have to man up and admit the other guy is just a better fighter, which Kane clearly demonstrated that he was. Kane obviously has had boxing lessons because he outboxed Petrovic.

It took him 60 minutes, but Petrovic got learned the old fashioned way tonight. I'll keep an eye on the injury report for the Panthers' next game, no doubt he'll be out with a lower body injury after getting his poop cannon turned into ground beef three times in a row by the same guy.. not to mention those bloody gashes, both the one on his eye and the one between his legs. Kane dominates all night, but lets take this with a grain of salt. Petrovic had a draw earlier with Greggory Campbell. My grandma has quicker hand speed that Petrovic.

Third time was not the charm for Petro. Good on him for having the gumption (is that a word?) for going a third time. Unfortunately for him, he lost for a third time. Petro takes a shot early as a result of fumbling his grip. Kane then gets the better grip once they re-engage and Kane takes a clear and the most decisive win of the evening.

Can't stand Kane. Think he's a loser. That being stated, he completely humiliated Petrovic here. 3-3 in the fights. Ditto to everything The Mad House wrote. Awesome post his way.
