Once again, the Eric Lindros of the Dutch League (look it up) gets easily manhandled by a sub-par fighter. I can't understand how Weise still has a job in the NHL. Is there nobody better than this guy in the minors?? Clune just needs to fight Weise about 30 more times and he could turn his record into a winning one. Weise's career fight record now falls to 0 - and - who cares. I hate Dale Weise

Ok tilt. Always love seeing a loser Canuck get punched in the face.

Posted by BillyBuzzBomb on January 24, 2014 at 10:45 AM

It looked as Weise was trying to run away but Clune seemed driven to land one of those uppercut bombs. Sestito was born a douche. His face is douchey. His genes are little douchenozzles. His coffin will be in the shape of a douchebag.

Rich hands a beating on Wiese until he is exhausted.

I remember when Weise was on the Rangers and I used to scream "stop fighting, you suck". And now on hockey fights I think ....Stop fighting, you suck...... He sucks!

Meh to okayish fight, vitory to Clune

Posted by Behn Wilson on January 24, 2014 at 07:32 AM

Weise spends the entire fight frantically trying to flee the scene... which in retrospect was probably a good strategy choice considering his Colin Fraser-like boxing prowess

Posted by DARCY T on January 25, 2014 at 06:22 AM

clune landed couple rights and seemed to be in control of the fight...win clune

Posted by Jellyczar on January 24, 2014 at 09:09 AM

Another one bites the dust as the Canucks continue to fight.. but normally lose. Weise looked pathetic as he got tuned by Clune

Posted by ginoi on January 23, 2014 at 11:58 PM

Surprise, surprise. The Canucks lost a fight. I wonder what their win/loss record is this year as a team? Probably the worst record in the league I would imagine.

Clune tunes Weak.

always enjoyable to see a Vanloser Cuntnuck get his arse whooped dale weise is a piece of garbage

Posted by shawn46 on January 25, 2014 at 11:23 AM

Not sure whether Weise was trying to fight him or escape him...

Posted by doobi1 on January 24, 2014 at 10:19 AM

Wow! Great bout there. Clune was definitely determined not to let Weiss get back into it, although after getting beat down, he started a come back near the end, only to get beat down again. Great go guys. Clune the winner but cudos to Weiss for not giving up.

A Canuck gets beaten up and embarrassed in front of his home crowd by a guy who's half a foot shorter than him. What else is new? I would have loved to see Gaustad fight Tostitos. Gaustad would have gotten his useless carcass destroyed. That would have been pretty funny. And speaking of funny: BillyBuzzBomb pretty much summed up Sesitito's existence in it's entirety. Can't argue with any of that logic.

Win Clune, happy to see him back in the lineup! Also props to Weise for answering the bell.. maybe hearing that he is apparently available and up for discussion has lit a fire underneath him..

Posted by Hubbs on January 24, 2014 at 01:05 AM

I did the math ginoi. 11-20-6. Weise definitely earned his loss here.

Posted by Reeferman1967 on January 24, 2014 at 07:23 AM

A kinder, gentler Weise? He lives to play the piano once again..........

Posted by bberg on January 24, 2014 at 11:41 AM

I would love to have a bar fight with dale waste at least he would make me look like a great fighter lol Dale do us all a favor ,take up checkers!

Posted by bigmike53 on January 24, 2014 at 01:50 AM

Maybe Weise shouldn't have been so eager to get at Clune. Clune is a very strong 210 lbs and may have surprised Weise a bit. Clune gets the nod!

Clune landed numerous good shots; Weise didn't. Win Clune....

Clune with the win from what I could see, too bad the cameraman was drunk.

Posted by kyhammer on January 24, 2014 at 08:35 PM

Clune lays a nice beat down on Weise.

Posted by Great Murray on January 24, 2014 at 07:03 PM

Weise gets thoroughly pummeled in this one.

Posted by TOmaplelaughs on January 26, 2014 at 05:06 PM

The Canucks are most talented punching bags I have ever seen. Mike Gillis, wake up and help protect your team, you jack*ss!

Posted by devilsadvocate on January 24, 2014 at 12:52 AM

Weise was manhandled worse than a prison bitch. He should stick to fighting the Blair Jones of the world.

Weise should request to sit out a few home games for sheer embarrassment....I'd boo him in warmups. big L for Weise,,,or is it Weeesee. Clune lit him up.

Posted by J.R. Abel on January 24, 2014 at 02:43 AM

Clune all day. Weise looked like he has never been in a fight before. Or skated before. Or played hockey before. Great camera work by the way.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on January 24, 2014 at 01:38 AM

good bout, Clune the aggressor

Posted by Walt on January 24, 2014 at 10:56 AM

I like Weise as an edgy player but Clune is a bit out of his class. Win Clune.

Posted by OriginalSix on January 29, 2014 at 12:08 AM

WIN to Clune. Love seeing Weise get rag dolled.

Posted by jamesrph12 on January 26, 2014 at 05:46 PM

So glad the rangers dumped weise

Posted by legend22 on January 24, 2014 at 07:54 AM

Weise = Ragdoll

Posted by Snoka on January 24, 2014 at 08:23 PM

Another Canuck loss

Posted by chad420 on January 24, 2014 at 10:22 AM

win Richie-Rich

Posted by demonhead6 on January 24, 2014 at 10:47 AM

Weise looked like he was fighting for his life. Gamer though, he didn't drop and curl up on the ice. Not even close though.

Posted by Humper on January 24, 2014 at 09:06 AM

Most fights where you miss 30% of the action are tough to decide. Not this one. Clune makes Weise his beyatch, surprised that he didn't get in some noogies and a Chinese sunburn. Is there anyone on the Canucks that can win a fight? (Please note: This was a rhetorical question.)

Posted by travist on January 24, 2014 at 01:43 PM

had flashbacks of seeing the old whalers getting tossed around watching weise and that hair of his. vancouver wants to be tough so bad…but they are not just a bunch of under achieving saps.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on January 24, 2014 at 09:16 PM

Well that went about as expected. Not sure why there is so much hate for the Canucks. It might just be because I don't see them much, but they don't seem like worth the effort. I'm pretty indifferent towards them.

Posted by kkdowning on January 27, 2014 at 10:22 AM

Ugggh, Weise again? Win Clune

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on January 24, 2014 at 12:59 AM

Clune simply whooped Weise's ass!

Posted by Biggus on January 25, 2014 at 11:49 AM

Weise drops 'em and then goes on to look like one of the three stooges, running away in fear for the entire fight - with the exception of a couple of rights when Clune was catching his breath. Embarrassing even to watch.

Posted by claire alexande on January 24, 2014 at 03:34 PM

King of the Dykes Dale (Lesbo) Weise gets destroyed as usual. Memo to Gillis and Barbarella: The Master Plan to convince the rest of the world that the Canucks can tough their way to ultimate victory can only have the faintest glimmer of hope of succeeding if you possess tough players. You'd have been better off bringing Murray Hall out of retirement for this one.

Posted by sedinfan on January 24, 2014 at 03:04 PM

Another one of my Canucks gets throttled. Weiss actually looked scared out of his mind.
