Bordy is a monster. Boll showed up at the end with Bordy down on the ice.

Posted by braindog1017 on March 03, 2013 at 05:17 PM

Bordeleau is quickly becoming a fighter to watch. I think he edges out Boll in a spirited tussle, gave it a 7.

Posted by LJS on March 05, 2013 at 02:01 PM

Draw....Bordeleau got his bell rung by a much smaller but more experienced scrapper.

Posted by DARCY T on March 06, 2013 at 03:16 PM

bordeleau missing most of his punches again.he still landed more than boll though edge bordeleau...and 4

Posted by CofRed92 on March 03, 2013 at 07:34 PM

Bordy with the win, but no by THAT much.

Posted by Jdaman75 on March 03, 2013 at 06:38 PM

Bordeleau with the win but his balance is a joke and Boll is always game so a scrap was inevitable . If he could fix those balance issues with that size he could easily be top hw in NHL.

Posted by Behn Wilson on March 03, 2013 at 05:45 PM

Bordeleau continues to establish himself as an up and comer to be watched showing class and restraint in allowing Boll to regain his footing at least a couple of times en route to a reach-inspired win Peluso-Bordeleau would be interesting

Posted by legion31 on March 04, 2013 at 05:38 AM

bordeleau all the way

Posted by rugby on March 03, 2013 at 09:21 PM

That kinda sucked, as do most fights involving guys that can only play a shift or two in today's NHL. I get that Boll was getting overpowered, but did Bordeleau attend the George Parros hockey school of balance? Can't imagine this year's forum favourites PB & Scott being able to stand up for more than a couple of swings should they ever meet next year.

pb

Posted by bammer24 on March 04, 2013 at 01:14 AM

Bordeleau with the win for that reach but never seems totatally in control of balance. Now very interesting if he fights McGratton which would be real test.If he goes all out mode with McGratton could be a disaster. They say off the chart he weighs about 257lb. now.

Posted by omorales on March 04, 2013 at 03:56 PM

Bordeleau was throwing with ill intent. he was looking to remove Boll's head from his shoulders.....

Posted by Spanky_Jazz on March 10, 2013 at 01:31 AM

Is there any real debate over Bordeleau's distinction as a heavyweight in this league?

Posted by rocky 1 on March 04, 2013 at 12:22 AM

Bordeleau all the way in this fight!

Posted by Don Berry on March 03, 2013 at 07:23 PM

PB with the win here. Boll is not a heavyweight. He is a classic middleweight, maybe 200 pounds on a good day

Posted by slavv on March 04, 2013 at 08:37 PM

Bill starts with his hands at his waist and gets destroyed ....

Posted by brdhntr on March 03, 2013 at 09:05 PM

Mr. rag Doll, meet Mr. Bordeleau

Posted by abadjoke88 on March 03, 2013 at 08:09 PM

for once Boll is out of his division. Bordy showed class, takes the fight. Win Bordy

Posted by GreatMurray on March 04, 2013 at 07:27 AM

They were both throwing but only Bordeleau was landing.

Posted by endor on March 04, 2013 at 12:54 AM

Bordy rolls Boll.

Posted by sieurs on March 04, 2013 at 02:38 PM

If Bordeleau kept bieng open that much when he swings he's gonna get ko'd at some point !!! W Bordeleau just because he was too strong for Boll

Posted by jeben23 on March 07, 2013 at 11:12 AM

pretty good tilt. Bordeleau landed more punches and they were stronger than Boll's. Announcer loved it waaaaaaaay to much though...

Posted by sedinfan on March 03, 2013 at 11:41 PM

Bordeleau is a beast, maybe a future heavyweight champ, he impresses me every time he drops them.

Posted by The Mad House on March 03, 2013 at 07:42 PM

The Bordeleau Show is really establishing himself as a top heavyweight this year. I would love to see him and McGrattan, and there's a great possibility it does happen. It's too bad there's no East teams playing West teams, because I'd love to see Bordeleau against guys like Orr (again), Scott, McLaren, Peluso and Shawn Thornton

Posted by Hank_Mardukas on March 03, 2013 at 08:00 PM

Calling this a tilt or draw is just being a homer. Boll did nothing but get thrown around, punched the entire fight, and only landed with a semi-cheap shot as Bordeleau was falling down. Bordeleau also allowed Boll to stand up without throwing shots when Boll was down. Completely one-sided.

Posted by dropyourgloves5 on March 03, 2013 at 06:40 PM

bordy the gentelman could have hurt the guy, he chose to show respect. Great fight.

Posted by jpsanterre on March 03, 2013 at 05:48 PM

Bordeleau hands down. Everytime Boll lost balance, Bordy would stop trowing punches until he was back on his feet, that one wasnt even close. The only punches Boll gave were at the end when Bordy was losing his balance

Posted by devilsadvocate on March 03, 2013 at 07:53 PM

I thought Bordeleau could have really pounded Boll, but let up. Bordeleau and Peluso seem to be the 2 most promising newcomer heavies.

Posted by BoredOhioGuy on March 07, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Man, Bordeleau throws HARD. Boll's my boy being a Blue Jackets fan, but he got it handed to him in this one.

Posted by Blues 34 on March 03, 2013 at 08:10 PM

Very strong showing by Bourdeleau. Clear win

Posted by shawnrocks on March 03, 2013 at 06:19 PM

Bordeleau pounded him

Posted by Bosoxshute on March 03, 2013 at 04:59 PM

Fight of the year so far in my opinion. Bordeleau proving to be one of the best fighters in the league.

Posted by jnk07899 on March 04, 2013 at 10:32 AM

I don't like the way Bordeleau fights. I give it to Boll. He did a good job dodging the big attempted blows by Bordeleau.

Posted by FightMonster75 on March 04, 2013 at 09:11 AM

Pretty decent fight. I give the clear win to Bordeleau but to become an elite level fighter he needs to work on his balance a little more, 2nd time this year he has dominating a fight and let the other fighter back in after he missed throwing a bomb (but I sure as hell wont be the one to tell him that)

Posted by 69MasonStorm69 on March 03, 2013 at 06:27 PM

Bordeleau beats Boll again. This one wasn't even close. Entertaining fight, though. Props to Boll for standing up for his teammate and fighting Bordeleau after the big hit.

Posted by Kaderson on March 03, 2013 at 05:18 PM

What fight where you watching? Flailing, both of them. Borledeau has had hype but that's about it. Edge Borledeau.

Posted by Wyman81 on March 07, 2013 at 04:19 PM

Why did I watch that...

Posted by SouthPaw017 on March 03, 2013 at 10:56 PM

Boll once again enters the Bordeleau of Blood, as he's pounded like a drunk prom date....

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on March 04, 2013 at 12:12 PM

PB seems to have Boll's number

Posted by kkdowning on March 04, 2013 at 09:28 AM

Win Bordeleau, based on reach and the big rights. Boll deserves a ton of respect for doing this night in and night out against much bigger guys and for a perennially bad team

Posted by Madhouse27 on March 03, 2013 at 06:46 PM

Bordeleau is definitely an entertaining fighter and appears to be fearless. Wish he was in the Eastern Division. Both guys showed some restraint by not taking advantage of slips (until the end when maybe Boll got one in). Good fight and I doubt this is the last we'll see from these two tough customers. Win Bord!

Posted by Puckstopper30 on March 03, 2013 at 10:29 PM

Not too bad, but does anybody really slug it out anymore?...these heavyweight battles are starting to look all the same. Bordeleau with an easy win.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 04, 2013 at 10:16 PM

All Bodeleau in this dandy. Both guys tossing bombs but I never saw Boll connect solidly with anything.

Posted by PoundLucic on March 04, 2013 at 08:33 AM

Saw this one live. Happened after cheap shot along the boards that took a CBJ player out. I generally don't like guys trying to pound a defenseless guy down on the ice, but after failing to make up for the cheap shot during the actual fight, he didn't have much of a choice. Very impressed with Bordy, other than his balance. Big, strong, long reach, aggressive - fun to watch.

Posted by sponder on March 04, 2013 at 11:23 PM

Respect to Boll for taking on PB.....but not for the cheap shots at the end. Now go make Mr. Bordeleau a sandwich.

Posted by chad420 on March 04, 2013 at 12:36 PM

win PB&Jelly

Posted by Ed Van Impe on March 04, 2013 at 08:25 AM

Very seldom do you see Boll get his azzz whipped ... that was one of them ...

Posted by Screaming Buffalo on March 03, 2013 at 05:49 PM

Did either guy even land a punch? They were just swinging wild and missing and pulling each other in a circle. Fight of the year? Are we even watching the same video?
