Boulton does his best Janssen impression,
waving, and even pushing, offf the linesmen,
but even a gassed, and semi-disinterested,
Prust still manages to make it a decent scrap.

After carrying the brunt of the load
on his diminuative shoulders
for most of the season...
and with Scott as the new sheriff in town...
hopefully, he can now, finally, revert to his natural role
of being one of the best deputy's in the league.

W for Boults who no doubt didn't enjoy his 24 hours on the waiver wire.

Can't vote against PRust -- even when it seems like he is not paying attention -- so draw

Prust was gassed. Probably because of the effort spent on holding onto his stick for the first part of the fight.

Regardless of the reasons for Prust's below average showing, Boulton was clearly more active (this was clearly not the Prust we are used to seeing). Judging "this fight" between the two, Boulton gets the edge.

Prusty wanted No part of this...Not sure why but Im guessing its a legit reason.....Never seen him take so long to shed the gloves and He wanted the linesman to step in at the end so I give it to Boulton

Boulton was doing what??? this commentator sucks.. he was trying to act as if Prust wasnt doing anything. yet clearly Prust actually fought. Boulton wanted it , then he got it. not much of a fight from either but still fun. sucks they both only landed 2 yes 2 punches. to bad it seems alot of you dont watch these fights more then 1 time. if even the whole fight :)

I understand that Boulton was trying to get his team going here but, you still need to follow the code. Classless to force a guy that is gassed.

The linesman that tried to jump in when the fight was shortly underway must've been working his first game. He needs to re-read the Official's manual and understand it. As far as the fight, an uneventful draw for two guys respecting each other....

Boulton has had Prust's number ever since he got to the Rangers.

Rumor is Prust is pretty banged up and was told not to fight, part of the reasoning the Rangers went and acquired John Scott. Possibly the reason Prust was forced into this scrap and not a willing combatant

Not sure that anyone landed punches, Boulton may of had two or so in there.

Something happened earlier in the game and the coaches sent Boulton and Rupp onto the ice. The refs sent Rupp back however, and Tortorella didn't like it. Meanwhile, Boulton was also sent back to the bench. When the puck dropped, Boulton and Rupp immediately both changed onto the ice and came right for each other, only to exchange words and head back to the benches. Very Strange how that happened, but Boults got and won a fight anyway.
