Neil pastes Henrik with a semi-legit hit,

Daniel skates by, but then thinks better,

forcing Rome... bereft of any fighting ability...

to, valiantly, take a beating,

not to mention, a, less than gentlemanly,

forearm shiver to the ice...

... on their behalf.

Sometimes, doing the right thing, can be painful.

Especially when your career has continually suffered
from the debilitating symptoms of chronic '''Kotsopoulitis''.

And yes Dangler-Buddy, I realize he has the biggest heart ever,
and that he even won recently... but you know what I mean.

That's hockey but how many times do you see a Sedin twin get laid out with an open ice hit? The fight was no contest.

Those of you that know me know I am all about the Canucks and of course the Sedin's. Regardless, it was a clean hit which is not uncommon when we have no one to protect our better players. Like jemihami said, we really need an enforcer. Winning is fun, but it is sure frustrating getting the crap beat out of us on a regular basis. There is always someone taking liberty with the Canucks, and no one to do anything about it. Where is Geno Odjick when we need him?

Well, what do you expect if you keep your head down like that ?
Great check by Neil.
Rome gets an A for justified efforts,
However Neil is just too experienced...

How exactly was that not a charging penalty?

canucks need an enforcer for entertainment and morale. lets say they did have john scott. lets be honest here, neil would've done the same thing and then avoided scott the rest of the game. good guy rome with the loss after a nice big hit.

i wish enforcers were actually able to enforce, but as it is, they are for morale and the fans more than anything these days. back in the day a guy like odjick would've absolutely pummeled neil, but nobody wants to set their team at a big disadvantage nowadays. sad, it'd be nice to see guys like neil answer for running another team's star, instead of beating on the toughest guy on the ice, who is no match.

i'm pretty down with uh, fag2. sounds about right to me.

great hit, nothing fight. That last forearm was not meant for Rome, but to stop forward momentum towards the ice (by using aaron as a nice little cushion).

@riffraff

Stop sucking off the nucks, people are allowed an opinion and yours is no better than theirs, oh and btw, when did the nucks last win the cup??

Props to Rome in an easy fight for Neil

Rome stood up for a teammate but Neil was in complete control of this one. Neil with a pretty decisive win here.

Clean hit by Neil, Rome not in the same weight class..... Early exit from the playoff again for the Canucks without an enforcer !!!

neil is a dirtbag. if the canucks are going to go deep in the playoffs they have to get tougher, being "team tough" is the same as saying "ya were a team of *****"s"!!!!
