What this fight SEEMS to establish,

is that Engelland, is a slightly better fighter than Prust is...

...in other words, totally respectable,

but hardly ''Champ material''.

Just sayin'.

Engelland with the edge but Prust stayed right in there with him all the way through.

I like these two fighters...
Hard to believe they only have a difference of 2 inches in height,
I felt Engelland threw more but did not connect on many, which is more likely an indication of how good Prust's dodging ability is.
Just because you throw a few more punches , doesn't mean an automatic win.
Going Draw.

By design or buy luck, Prust was able to neutralize Engelland's big right. As I recall, all the guys that DE has tagged let DE get in really tight. Prust kept his distance and kept his head moving to fared better, but DE still wins. Prust managed not to get hammered like some other guys have.

i think prust lands the nicest shot but engelland lands the most for the win. i'm obviously not in the business, so it baffles me when teams get rid of these great fighters like prust and asham. why why why?

Win Engelland all the way. Icebreaker beat me to the "Prust looks like a soccer pansy" with that ridiculous dive after Staal clocked him. Prust was smart enough to not let Engelland catch him with the big right at full force or the refs would still be cleaning chicklets off the ice.

I'm calling this one a draw, with the slight edge with Engelland, just can't give him a win when Prusty stayed with although always on the defensive.

Good bout.

Prust helps Pens STEAL 2pts. Lose a fight up 2-0.

It's funny cooke will elbow you, jab you and talk, but when it comes time to drop em he'll only do it when A) you're back is turned or B) he thinks hes gonna pound you. Clearly Cooke couldn't man up and drop em with Prust so he had to have Engel go in and do the dirty work instead. Staal with a bonehead play, punching someone in the face with a gloved hand, he could of dropped em too but felt the need to sucker him instead. Whether he dove or not doesn't take away from the fact that it was still a sucker punch. We'll see what happens on the 13th when they make their return to the Garden.

In response to FUDICKFACE: I'm honored that you dedicated three quarters of your fight review to me, although with your rambling about dicks I couldn't understand how it related to the Prust Engelland fight. I must be a pretty special guy for you to have to use every piece of vocabulary you know to describe how you feel about me. You know what they say about people who constantly use curse words and vulgar language... they have no education whatsoever. Getting back to your little rant, about Cooke beating Mike Richards, if you were smart enough to look at the reviews of the fight earlier in the season, Richards was actually the one who beat Cooke. The other fight Cooke got into this year was with Jason Pominville who had just come back from a concussion. I'm not surprised Cooke won that fight I think that was the first time Pominville ever fought anyone. And based on last years log for Cooke, he won 1 of the 6 fights he got into and that included fighting people such as Ilya Kovalchuk (non fighter), Ryan Callahan (non fighter), Chris Drury (non-fighter), and Evander Kane (non-fighter). Don't tell me Kane is a fighter either just because he TKO'd him. The only guy I expected him to lose to was Thornton and Cooke got his A$$ handed to him. Actually I'm sorry, I should have never put the words smart and you in the same sentence, you can't spell, you have no idea how to actually formulate a proper sentence, and your lack of knowledge of anything leads me to believe you do nothing with your life besides sit behind a computer and watch hockey fight videos and then **** on people after they review them. Oh and BTW I didn't vote for Prust in this fight just so you know. Get a life.
