Mat Martin is one of the few bright spots on the Isles this year.

Draw between two scrappers. Clarkson shows his experience with the arm over Martin's. Tough to get started in the midst of scrum, then down on one knee, the fight just didn't get rolling for either guy.

Clarkson comes on ice fresh, Martin been on for a long shift . Clarkson challenges Martin on boards but keeps his gloves on. Finally both drop em. Martin lands a right, they tussle both throw more no lands both slip to one knee get up try throwing a few nothing big lands. O.k. fight thought Clarkson tried to take advantage of a long shift by Martin. Sure they will go again. Martin had a good right early.

Not many landed but Clarkson hit a few more. not a great fight overall.

Martin at the end of a shift. Clarkson fresh off the bench. DRAW. Had MM been fresh. Clarkson would have backed off like he did last time the Isles met the Devils. Otherwise MM would have cleaned his clock. Dont think so? Remember this when they have their rematch.

This was one of thew worst games I have ever watched, it is no surprise that the fights were half-hearted as well.
