Boyle with a slight edge,

but if Zubrus is your current bench-mark...

you might want to switch the focus over to back-checking, asap..

Boyle didn't injure his hand--he got two-thirds of the Gordie Howe hat trick with a goal and they had him on the post-game radio. Pretty even bout.

I think two Devils players punched their tickets out of town last night--Jason Arnott, who was dreadful, and Jamie Langenbrunner. It wouldn't surprise me to see Marty Brodeur get traded to a contender before the deadline.

edge to boyle i guess, but i wouldn't be surprised to hear that he has a broken knuckle or two.

if i'm not mistaken, as brevitt mentioned, someone had to serve time for zubrus as he had to go get his kisser fixed up.

(glad to hear boyle didn't hurt his hand. and i'd love a brodeur trade, taking him in the second round in my draft didn't exactly work out as planned).

Zubrus seemed to be stronger, but Boyle landed the only real punches. W Boyle

Is Brian Boyle related to Susan Boyle?

I remember watching this Boyle guy when he first came up with LA. I thought it then, I'll say it now. Lotsa size, little heart. He shoulda whalloped Zubrus, instead he fought to a slim lead then quit.

Draw.

I gave 5 for the fun and i think both guys did ok job but Boyle is the NARROW WINNer for landing better shots but kudos to Zubrus who threw back shots of his own.
OK bout but not good one either.

Not often you see either one of these guys fight. I think both guys landed about the same amount. I called this one a draw.

Great job by Boyle. Zubrus has been a thorn in the Rangers side throughout his career without dropping the gloves. despite his size. Boyle landed a couple heavy shots to the back of Zubrus's head. Boyle tired a little too quickly to do any major damage.

Upon replay Boyle landed a few more than Zubrus....

Boyles gotta learn not to punch the back of peoples heads lol

Boyle controls early with 3 heavy head shots, but Zubrus is able to throw 2 good punches and a body shot, then pin Boyle. I will call it a draw. It is not often that Zubrus fights, he is a strong guy but not much with the fists.
