Comments: A scrum develops the Flames end and the two come out of it with their gloves dropped and ahold on one another. Ohlund throws two rights and a body shot. Phaneuf ties Ohlund up and then connects with three straight lefts. Ohlund misses with a right cross. They exchange short rights before Phaneuf unleashes a flurry of eight unanswered uppercuts and overhand rights. Ohlund lands a right to the side of Phaneuf's head and they wrestle around until the linesmen decide to come in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Phaneuf received a roughing; Matt Cooke a boarding.

Brookbank pushes Eager up against the boards and throws a right. Brookbank follows up with a right cross that lands. They continue to wrestle around until the linesmen decide to intervene and end the fight.

Asham goes down to a knee, but gets back up after a moment. They start going toe-to-toe with lefts once more until Asham finally lands one that sends Cote down to the ice. Asham falls on top of Cote and the linesmen jump in as well.
