Rob Ray vs. Ray Schultz
10/10/02
3 Pd 13:48
@BUF NYI Ray Schultz
Schultz and Ray bump, then drop em. They jostle for position, then Schultz pulls back and grazes Ray with an uppercut, then tags Ray with a solid right to the cheek. Another punch grazes/misses Ray's temple. Ray then throws and misses two rights pushing Shultz to his knees, then popped him with an uppercut that was hard to tell if it landed. Other Penalties: Schultz received an instigator and misconduct.

Rob Ray vs. Steve Webb
10/10/02
1 Pd 10:25
@BUF NYI Steve Webb
Webb checks Ray once, then again even harder. Ray gets up and just drops the gloves and starts chucking punches at a ducking Webb. Webb mysteriously got a fighting major for receiving. Other Penalties: Webb received a roughing; Ray an instigator and misconduct.

Jody Shelley vs. Rob Ray
11/03/02
1 Pd 3:43
BUF @CBJ Jody Shelley
Voted winner:  Rob Ray   (33.3%) - Voted rating: 3.8
They jab at each other a bit, and the gloves come off. They exchange some rights, one or two possibly landing from each, hard to tell. Ray throws a few to the helmet of Shelley and the linesmen step in.

Rob Ray vs. Brantt Myhres
11/12/02
3 Pd 12:23
@BUF BOS Brantt Myhres
All the scrappers are out. Boulton and Ray get a little pushing and shoving going. Ray goes to skate away. Myhres grabs Ray and drops his gloves and spins Ray around. Ray falls to his knees, throws his gloves and tries to get up. Boulton jumps in and then everybody gets in and starts wrestling. No real fight. Boulton and Myhers both for some reason get thrown out of the game. Other Penalties: Myhres received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Boulton a game misconduct; PJ Stock a misconduct.

Todd Fedoruk vs. Rob Ray
01/07/03
2 Pd 14:24
BUF @PHI Todd Fedoruk
Voted winner:  Rob Ray   (95.7%) - Voted rating: 8.2
They initially got roughing minors. Immediately after they come out of the box, they drop 'em and go, engaging in a hell of a toe-to-toe exchange with Fedoruk switching hands. Fedoruk lands a huge punch that really looked to stun Ray and was well on his way to a victory, when Ray nailed him with a huge bomb, dropping Fedoruk!
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Rob Ray vs. P.J. Stock
01/10/03
1 Pd 12:28
@BUF BOS P.J. Stock
Ray elbows Stock right in the kisser, and everyone piles in. Ray and Stock drop the gloves, but the linesmen are in between them. Both guys are trying to get at each other. No significant punches thrown by either, but fighting majors for both. Ray gets 19 penalty minutes, and Sean Brown gets a gamer for third man in. No "real" fight. Other Penalties: Stock, Krzysztof Oliwa and Jay McKee each received a roughing; Sean Brown a game misconduct; Ray an elbowing, roughing and misconduct.

Rob Ray vs. Tie Domi
01/24/03
2 Pd 10:26
@BUF TOR Tie Domi
Voted winner:  Tie Domi   (58.8%) - Voted rating: 7
Domi just drops the gloves and Ray follows. Domi grabs on, gets one left in, then another that lands right on the chin and pops Ray's helmet off. Ray hits the ice, but jumps back up. Domi is spinning him and lands or two more, then Ray regains composure and gets close. Ray then lands two bombs square to Domi. They are in close and Ray tries pulling Tie's helmet off and it is on his head sideways. Ray lands a good shot and the lid pops off. Domi gets a weak jab in and the linesmen come in. Both guys give each other a tap and smile for sportsmanship and go to the box.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Rob Ray vs. Bryce Salvador
02/11/03
2 Pd 2:26
@BUF STL Bryce Salvador
Voted winner:  Rob Ray   (90%) - Voted rating: 5.2
Behind the play Salvador shakes one glove off and challenges Ray. Ray accepts and they start exchanging, with most of Ray's landing and Salvador's coming up short. Ray starts to take over a bit and Salvador goes down, looked like a slip.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Rob Ray vs. Alexei Ponikarovsky
03/06/03
1 Pd 11:0
@BUF TOR Alexei Ponikarovsky
McCabe smashes Mair on an offside call, and everyone piles in. Ray punches Ponikarovsky, who doesn't like it, and comes back at him. They throw gloved punches until Ray drops 'em, and Ponikarovsky, who's wearing a shield, follows. Ponikarovsky isn't doing too bad, actually, responding to Ray's rights with ones of his own, but Ray lands a big right and Ponikarovsky goes down, TKO Ray. Other Penalties: Ray received a roughing.
