I gave them low ratings for not tossing their sissy helmets with the visor before they started chucking knuckles. Very girly to me.

Kinda wish both guys broke their hands so they learn to ditch the visored lid.

Non eventful draw

That chick in the front row looks like she would have no second thoughts about doing some ass to mouth.

Draw with an edge to Porter in a spirited little bout. These 2 fought a couple weeks ago in the AHL.

congrats to chris porter for getting in his first fight and then getting sent back down to the ahl where he belongs. lame fight. draw.

Good to see some grit from Morin.

Giess I gotta keep up more...but who the hell are these guys? I had to look twice just to be sure that I hadn't clicked on one of the retro videos by mistake... because for a second there... I could have sworn that the Hawk was Roenick. Short, spirited draw.

just another draw by the young lightweights. versa needs glasses.his comments are usually stupid

Posted by tattooedkingpin on December 01, 2010 at 02:16 PM

quick spirited Draw

I have a feeling i'm gonna like this JM kid. Draw.

Posted by fernben8 on December 02, 2010 at 07:31 AM

Two rookies trying to make an impression with their respective clubs. Each tryng to punch through the visors and elected to go body blows when they realize this type of plastic was harder than their hands. All draw.

Not bad entertainment, nothing special but they did look like they got after it a bit. Do miss the fact that a little bit later we didn't get to see the Scott-Janssen rematch, that was weird how it went down. Draw for the pups.

Not bad for a 19 year old.

Posted by Juha82 on December 01, 2010 at 04:11 AM

i gave 6 for this fight, spirited one. DRAW in my eyes/book. Both fired off some shots, mostly landing. Porter first Morin middle and the end was end without punching though-

i hate reading all these comments that come from dickheads about "they are girls for not ditching there visors"...........when it is a spirited scrap like that, you dont really have much time to remove them let alone even think about it when you are pissed...........such little kids running there mouths about shit they know nothing about

Posted by DARCY T on December 02, 2010 at 06:58 AM

very entertaining fight without winner.i gave it 7...porter might have connected with 1 or 2 more though

Posted by rocky 1 on December 02, 2010 at 11:27 PM

Don,t know these players but a great little tilt!DRAW!

Posted by staceyb on December 01, 2010 at 05:48 AM

Porter appeared to get in a shot or two more than Morin, who obviously wants to stay with the Hawks for the rest of the season.

Posted by JoeBlue on December 01, 2010 at 02:23 AM

Must have been AHL night at the game.

Posted by Bluetiedown44 on December 01, 2010 at 01:45 AM

Porter won a close fight. Edge to Porter but both throw well.

Spirited fight. I wanted to talk about the refs calling Janssen/Scott for unsportsmanlike conduct. It was unbelievable! They just didn't want another fight for some reason. I would have liked to see Janssen and Scott go again, but the refs just would not have it.

You have to give the W to Morin here. Not the best fight, but good to see him drop the gloves. He also played a good game overall after being called up for the injured Hossa.

Posted by HaWKeYToWNusa on December 01, 2010 at 02:12 AM

Morin surprised the hell outa me. Assist and a fight. He did well coming from AHL Rockford.

Posted by slshbleed on November 30, 2010 at 11:58 PM

Porter gets one in and the rest is Morin.

Posted by BIG AL SECORD on December 01, 2010 at 09:35 AM

Good spirited bout...What a night for Morin!!! His play leads to three Hawk Goals and then to put the icing on the cake he gets the better of a much bigger Porter. Hats off to the kid!!! WIN MORIN

Posted by teamrobot on December 01, 2010 at 02:36 PM

mostly helmet shots, it's a draw with an edge twoards Morin

Posted by gmr133 on December 01, 2010 at 02:52 PM

Bleah. They do a pretty good job of polishing each others' visors and banging their knuckles once or twice on helmet, but otherwise, this is a waste of time draw. Give it a 2.

Draw, there should be an extra penalty for fighting with a visor

Posted by ncaadam on December 01, 2010 at 01:21 PM

i give the 19 year old morin credit for stepping in on this one. pretty even fight. the body shots morin hands out are legit tho. DRAW

Posted by Radiotalker on December 01, 2010 at 11:22 AM

Edge Porter just because Morin quickly decided he was done fighting. Plus Porter got in one good shot.
