8 days till Orr vs Engelland rematch can't wait oh yeah!!
Everyone votes for clifford, but seriously......nothing connected punch-wise. Looks to me like he was throwing blanks at Voros. I call it a draw....but will give the edge to Voros because his hits actually connected.
Well...I feel differently about the mid fight lid toss, see it as being over-kill. Yes, you want to show Respect but you either take the helmet off before the fight ( mutually) or you commit to it being on. Once the fight starts ,it's game on. If it comes off during, well too bad. In this case, they both had the lid on and Voros lost his..therefore advantage Clifford. As for the fight, call it a draw.
very classy show by Clifford. as for the fight, Draw
Classy but stupid. LOL I dunno, he didn't have a visor so getting rid of the helmet was pointless, I guess I understand what he was going for, but it was unnecessary.
good show by both man. CLEAR DRAW hands down "retards" joke joke i dont mean any evil lol Voros with quality, Clifford with quantity.
Good, even fight. Called it a draw...
i call it a draw
clifford threw more punches but all of them connected voros´s shoulder except one.voros was more effective and connected with more than 4 solid punches.win voros.i gave it 7
Clifford with the surprise start, before things settled into draw mode. The highlight of the fight, by far was the exemplary sportsmanship shown by Clifford, in tossing his own lid mid-fight. Giving the win to the kid, partly because he showed class beyond his years... but mainly because it goes against every fibre in my entire being to ever have to type the words...Voros wins.
Cliffy gettin in there to mix it up in what is always a very physical series with these teams. He's only 19. Given his experience, he gets the edge. Thinking about it, he might have taken his lid off so it didn't get ripped off like Westy's the other F'n up his nose.
Punches over noogies, slight win Clifford.
voros with another loss, shocker
I havent seen a player remove his own helmet midfight when it wasnt even causing him problems in a long time. Koodos to Clifford. He gets the win for that move alone.
Have to give the slight edge to the kid. He was more agressive and threw more punches. He even accomodated Voros by tossing his helmet.
clifford gets the win in this fight. very classy move by clifford taking his own helmet off.
Voros can't beat his meat
Clifford is a great kid, strong as an ox and a definite throwback to the glory days. Classy move dropping the lid...Win Clifford with the bigger shots
very cool thing to see. one thing to see before the fight but during was great.
class act taking off the helmet i agree win for the kid.....not a fan of voros fighting he never gave me a good fight yet
Good go by both,Clifford with the decision.
Clifford with a classy win. Gets ahead early and they gas quickly. Hopefully a sign of things to come from the kid. I still think they should have dropped the lids beforehand if they were going to make it an issue, but when someones hat gets stuck awkwardly on their arm, its nice to see the other guy even it up.
Clifford the win! Varos great scrap.. both guys did well. MAD RESPECT to clifford for taking off the bucket.
That was nice of Clifford, I didn't see Voros take his lid off.
Voros is a joke!
Punch the guy a few times, take of the lid to make it fair and continue. No visor either.
The best part of every Clifford fight has to be the huge smile on his otherwise stoic and killer face.
Classy young Kyle...can scrap...
Clifford is such a G. i can only think of like 2 other fighters that would willingly take off their helmet like that in a scrap. im jealous too considering he's the same age as i am and he's playing on my local/favorite team.
Voros is a classless turd, Clifford removes his lid mid fight of respect and Voros cant even hold up a punch when the linesman are in. EDGE Clifford for the bombs in the begging.
An excellent show of class by Clifford by removing his helmet to make the fight fair.
Looks like a draw to me. A couple punches landed early by both dudes. Very classy of Clifford to remove the helmet.
Evander Kane should take note...nice move Clifford
I love how Clifford does the honourable thing and takes his helmet off after knocking Voros's helmet off. And Voros stays back and lets him take the helmet off and both reset! Classy fight!
Clifford is a nice guy for removing his helmet after Voros loses his, or maybe Clifford just doesn't want Voros to be able to tug him around by the ear strap. Voros is also bigger and more experienced and should have an advantage, despite the fact that he's a horrible fighter. All that being said, there's no way Clifford wins this fight. Voros lands a few quality punches, Clifford knocks Voros' helmet off. This is slight edge Voros (he should be ashamed--nothing unusual after a Voros "fight") or a draw.
I was at the game Clifford showed alot of class or stupidity as some have pointed out, I would not take my lid off in that situation, but he did not win this fight. He had a very nice mouse under his left eye before the end of the second period. I dont think Voros is even close to a good fighter and I would love having Cliffy on my team but this was a fight not a class competition. Edge to Voros, a draw at best. Anyone find out how bad Westgarth's face was? He was wearing a shield last night.
I was surprised to see the vote the way it is. Maybe it is video quality, but I was staring directly at it at ice level live. Clifford connected on about 2 of those 30 swings (the first 2), and Voros was about 80% connecting. Clifford was getting shoulder, Voros was getting shots directly to the head. There was no question in the arena that Voros won.
Nice fight. Respect from Clifford. Close, but I give him the edge.
win Little Cliffy
Win for Clifford. This kid is a hell of a player, and shows tremendous sportsmanship, ironically against a team that has none. Great job.
The kid gets the win and shows they aren't all young mouthy punks!!!! Good job!!!!
I gotta give this one to Clifford in a close fight. Love the lid toss, this one was out of respect. This reminds me how Andrew Peters used to toss his lid, his was not so much for the respect factor and more for intimidation.
