Good to see a real fight,no clutching, grabbing bulls..t ...todays players take note
Wilson by a nose...Literally....omg ..what a pair of tough guys...do they even fight like this anymore...Great Battle by 2 Warriors!
We could use Wendel right about now!
Clark early but Wilson late with some serious bombs that clearly stunned Clark. One hell of a hockey fight...close but the late bombs give Wilson the win.
This was beauty bout, but clear winner Clark landed around 15 or 16 clean good shots to Wilsons 8 or 9, Clark switches over twice in fight and lands multiple clean uppercuts with both hands, Wilson probably gets best single shot in after Wendel jerseys him lands couple lefts then maybe a right, then Wilson counters with big right catches him but Clark recovers a bit and most of Wilson shots are to back or side of head and then they both gassed, don't see where one guy said Wendel called in refs, just donts see it? Plus Wendel a rookie and 19 pretty impressive. Agree with few other guys Wendel and Domi probably 1 and 2 for pound for pound toughest of all time, maybe shout out to Stan Jonathon, few highlights but before my time, had and epic tilt with guy frim Habs
Great tilt. Back when NHL hockey was played by men. Makes today's "pugilists" look like whiny women.
the 'hard nosed rookie' sets the pace and the grisled warrior in Behn is there to deal and be dealt.. back when the 'pride of the sawmill' fueled real violence and real passion in the game,..these guys are heroes and I dont blame ANYONE for homing for either guy,.. I'm not homing for either ,so I have to honor these dudes w/a 100% respect Draw...
Draw good old time hockey scrap. Clark a rookie. Wilson a tough man. Draw.
Great punch in the face contest.
Coupe of great warriors. How often do you see a 19 year-old take on a veteran and step up like this? Just wow...
Wow wendell was throwing bombs....then the fight continues and Wilson finishes strong as all hell. Wendall at first, Wilson at the end. Great Draw.
CLARK was the man
Clark with the win. Wilson came on at end after the jersey comes off. A rookie taking it to the one of the best.
although much smaller Wendel tattooed him. I remember my buddy smoked Wilson at shinny at double rink.....Wilson was skating around smacking kids so my pal bitch slapped him even worse than Wendel did.....Wilson is a punk.
Great fight. Edge Wilson.
How did neither of these guys go down? What a battle! Too much respect for both to vote anything other than draw.
This would win fight of the year in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010...
Valiant effort by the rookie Clark, but those rights at the end turned Wendel's head away, looking for the refs. Narrow win Wilson in a classic.
Good scrap, but you can see the experience of Wilson winning out. Clark did well form a rookie though. Nice old-school tilt.
Wilson with better shots and a narrow win
Wilson always had the "school yard bully look." Clark was a great fighter and a real good hockey player.
Thanks Dave and the team for one of the best HF Christmas presents possible (Being able to put my name(sake) in the winner box Well there it is... (Except for maybe the "Baxter incident") One of the prime examples of why I chose this name... As an older but still ferocious version of Mr Uppercuts goes hard against an angry Clark in his prime Size was obviously a factor and Wilson threw way fewer punches... but considering the sheer devastation of each blow (And my obvious bias) no surprise about who I think came out on top Still Holy crap Clark had a granite jaw head nose etc... Funny I was just talking about this scrap with a Buddy Anyway easily one of the top ten epic battles ever Happy New Year to all and of course... to the real Behn Wilson too
GREAT FIGHT. There is nobody in the NHL that fights like this currently. All heart and balls.
Wilson landed the harder shots. he wins
BACK AND FORTH GREAT FIGHT AND DETERMINATION BY BOTH GUYS
Thanks for posting this old-school bout!
Gave it to Big Behn but Wendel Clark showed just how tough he was. The first time I saw a clip of this fight was when sportscaster Marv Albert showed it on his semi-regular Albert Achievement Awards bit on the David Letterman Show.
Could go either way. I'm calling it a draw, but I am leaning towards Wilson on this one.
A slight edge to Clark before he called the linesmen in, you quit, you loose! Win, big Ben.
