Draw, plain and simple. George started out decent,Brash at the end.

Posted by lakingsfan19 on November 20, 2008 at 11:04 AM

I don't know how you all can give a win to a guy who feel down as soon as he took a punch. (Parros = let me hit the guy a few times and when he starts to throw, I will lose my balance and fall. Then my face won't hurt.) Parros is a puss and will always be a puss

Posted by Boogeyman2383 on November 20, 2008 at 04:54 PM

Not the greatest fight. Parros got some decent shots in early, Brashear came back. Hard to call.

Posted by Enfrcr77 on November 20, 2008 at 02:39 AM

draw in a crap tango

Posted by dr00r00 on November 23, 2008 at 12:30 AM

Since when did punches to the back of the mean SH!T in a fight?? This is a draw. Nice to see Brash fighting someone his own size instead of jumping rookies. (Bogosian-Atlanta)

Posted by jco17325 on November 20, 2008 at 04:12 AM

They both got in their shots, no way this is anything but a draw.

Posted by Plateworker on November 20, 2008 at 10:02 PM

I dont see how this is a win for either one. 4 shots to the helmetless head for Parros 3 to the helmeted for Brash and the takedown. I see a draw

Posted by FlyersDosage on November 20, 2008 at 11:32 AM

Nothing really happpening here...clear draw w/no winner whatsoever.

Posted by Cat Smasher on November 21, 2008 at 08:12 PM

Draw/Edge Parros *Edge, as in one fighter does better then the other, but not enough to win the fight.

Posted by Gunslinger on November 20, 2008 at 09:08 PM

Good showing for Parros since I thought he would get crushed by my boy Brash. I called it a draw since the only thing the punches both threw connected with were the back of the head.

Posted by jbaker3924 on November 20, 2008 at 09:06 AM

Draw.

Posted by hoydie17 on November 20, 2008 at 07:26 PM

Brashear didn't really seem terribly committed to this fight, Parros did it right by tying up his left hand, but then failed to really take advantage of a vulnerable Brashear. As soon as Brashear was able to free up a fist, he rained down the hammer, but Parros as usual cannot hold balance when tied up and the fight basically ended before it really got going. The fact that Brash skated away and still played well the rest of the game and Parros had to ice his hand, and then subsequently vanished after being "corrected" by Brashear gives Brash enough points (in my book) to even up to a draw.

Posted by smoothlander on November 20, 2008 at 01:02 PM

Wow. What a boring bout. I think Parro's mustache is what throws him off balance. Marty McSorley would've kicked the daylights out of both of these stiffs...at the same time. Yawn.

Posted by lovejoy on November 20, 2008 at 02:24 AM

Someone should say to Brash finally, that man's face is on the front side of head. he always hit the opposite side... Donald, side with number and name on jersey is WRONG side.

Posted by staceyb on November 20, 2008 at 04:25 PM

How can anyone vote for Parros for those feckless hits to the back of Brashear's head? Parros might as well have been punching a cocoanut--they weren't doing any damage to Brashear.

Posted by ILoveSerena on November 20, 2008 at 01:04 PM

Draw

Posted by GShakh on November 20, 2008 at 01:25 PM

Not a good fight. Parros goes out and down immediately when he realise that Brash starting to connect at him. I vote it was a draw but Brash was better.

Posted by Lister100 on November 20, 2008 at 11:23 PM

Draw. Brashear was only getting started when Parros fell. I'll give Parros the benefit of the doubt that he didn't fall on purpose but I can't give him the win either.

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 20, 2008 at 09:19 AM

Liked 'porno''s agressive start, and he did land a few decent shots in the middle, before Brash realized he was losing, and began throwing rights. In the end, as usual, Parros cedes the closing due to his limited balance. Draw-ish.

Posted by Juha82 on February 18, 2010 at 01:57 PM

not a good fight. DRaw

Posted by Santokh_Gill on November 20, 2008 at 04:56 AM

i call it a draw , but would favour D.B in the rematch.

Posted by bostonrs555 on November 20, 2008 at 01:47 AM

Mr Hair takes the beginning and doesn't get much after that I can assure you!!! And Brash does not hug as much as he used to and that can only stand to improve Donald's already tarnished record..... DEEERAWWW!!!!!

Posted by Shappa on November 20, 2008 at 12:22 PM

Another boring Donald Brashear fight. Very close to a Parros win, but I called it a draw.

Posted by BROWN - KOCUR on November 21, 2008 at 10:22 AM

DRAW - Parros early but once Brash got in tight and used his power it was over. NEW RULE NHL .... if a fight is premeditated like this one both players MUST remove the helmets. Especially the visor style lids. No reason why these two couldn't take them off before they grabbed on. Tired of seeing guys with ice bags on their hands because they punched someones helmet off their head. If you're paying attention, 90% of the fights are started like this one, in which they both have time to remove the helmets. If you both have time to remove the lid and you don't then its a 10 minute misconduct.

Posted by blackgoldfan on November 20, 2008 at 07:44 PM

brash uses his brute strenght to survive this early barrage from the stache. this is a draw.

Posted by Snowrider on November 21, 2008 at 10:31 AM

Parros didn't win this one, he hit behind the head and that doesn't hurt, Brashear hit behind the head too but Parros still has his hat. And when Parros start to loose he felt to the ground!!!

Posted by flyerfighter73 on November 21, 2008 at 08:26 PM

For the "stache" fans I don't think rabbit punches get you the win. Plus, when Brashear got together Parros started to fall and lose balance. Draw.

Posted by nighthawk walt on November 20, 2008 at 07:39 PM

nobody landed anything good, parros hit him in the side of the head, brashear hit him in the back on the way down.not much of a fight.

Posted by Taubi on November 20, 2008 at 01:29 PM

This is a DRAW!!! Brash dominate the Fight (Start and in the End of the Fight), Parros landed 2-3 good rights, but this is not a win for him. Parros goes down, not Brash Guys.

Posted by moranm58 on November 25, 2008 at 03:56 PM

No real good shots..all back or side of the head or helmet...they got in to close and couldn't (or didn't want to ) get apart and start slingin'

Posted by Wild24 on December 04, 2008 at 05:46 PM

Draw

Posted by willismc on November 20, 2008 at 05:14 PM

Pretty good scrap. I think Brash greases his dome so punches can't land solid.

Posted by BAAAAANNERMAAAN on November 20, 2008 at 11:19 AM

those punches by Parros are comparable to noogies........draw

Posted by tiburon4 on November 20, 2008 at 02:58 PM

Draw: too bad only three games were on last night.

Posted by cmshort11 on November 20, 2008 at 06:20 PM

Parros early Brashear late, good scrap.

Posted by kayserrox33 on January 19, 2009 at 10:16 AM

another bad fight

Posted by plubber on November 20, 2008 at 01:38 AM

Thought I was watching Stortini there for a second, but then 2 fighters emerged. Good showing by Parros, but I still have yet to see him win one. You can't bruise a bowling ball. Brash takes it with two late shots and the take down.

Posted by StanFischler Jr on December 01, 2008 at 12:47 AM

Brash used his many years of experience in taking a few off of his head before getting in a good position to start throwing. As soon as he landed his first punch, Parros was done.

Posted by Franchise on November 21, 2008 at 07:54 PM

good showing by both, but Brash wins. George gets a couple good ones to the back of his head, but typical George, once he eats a few, he's on his knees faster than Monica Lewinski in the Oval Office.

Posted by ECHO1 on January 04, 2009 at 08:51 PM

Donald was getting clocked and then stood up and said to hell with this and crushed him.

Posted by oilersfansylvan on November 20, 2008 at 07:30 PM

From now on im giving a crap fight to all Huggers, Dancing, Head Locks, and Nugie Givers, this is getting RIDICULOUS half these fights are just a waste of time.....Maybe the Grand Pooh Bah Web Master should start posting some old time fights....half these fights this year are a joke....Is it the ice, skates, jersies, or too much Dancing with the Stars, idunno......

Posted by wannago on November 20, 2008 at 09:00 PM

Brashear is a douchebag. Parros was willing to stand up and fight. Brashear, in usual fashion, puts his head in his opponents chest and hides. I would have liked to have seen more from these two. At best this was anemic

Posted by E_S_A_D on November 20, 2008 at 08:22 AM

Win Parros. Brashear with his hugging and rabbit punches is quickly becoming one of the most boring Heavies to watch fight.

Posted by Ripper20 on November 20, 2008 at 07:24 AM

Slight advantage to the 70's porn star.

Posted by Ryan44 on November 20, 2008 at 02:48 AM

Brash and Stortini... you can go [email protected]*! yourselves! WIN PARROS!

Posted by SirYohans on November 20, 2008 at 09:25 PM

Win Parros as he handed out a Brash-style beatdown.

Posted by stizz14 on November 21, 2008 at 12:42 AM

mustache took this one..

Posted by RykerHC on November 20, 2008 at 06:53 AM

It seems Parros landed more punches, plus they were to Brashear's head not the helmet. But I did, however, expect more from the fight.

Posted by billy jack on November 20, 2008 at 02:32 PM

the stash hurt his hand on that hard noggin he was punching,i wish for once bras would fight open against a real fighter, all his fights are back of the head shots.win parros.

Posted by chl37 on November 20, 2008 at 07:59 AM

win parros landed some rights. brash had nothing but a few helmet shots at the end. brash still a top heavyweight but age seems to be catching up on him.

Posted by iceman88 on November 20, 2008 at 08:09 AM

I will give this to Parros, however the only reason he wins is due to his lack of balance. If he stays on his feet here he loses I am sure.

Posted by MNBonecrusher on November 20, 2008 at 06:29 AM

Slight edge to Parros, even though I can't stand him.

Posted by elks_scraps on November 20, 2008 at 11:10 PM

Defiantly wasn't the fight i was expecting, but ill give Parros the win just cause he scored more of those little rabbit punches to the side of the head.

Posted by Jake98 on November 20, 2008 at 02:45 AM

Parros landed shots to the head, Brashear to the helmet so the win goes to Parros

Posted by pradfords on November 20, 2008 at 11:08 AM

As much as i HATE "Porn-stache" Parros... Gotta give it to him. All Brashear did was punch the helmet. At least this time Parros didnt just hug him to the ground...

Posted by DARCY T on November 20, 2008 at 05:09 AM

win parros

Posted by brad houghton on November 20, 2008 at 11:57 AM

a slow start for Brash and Parros did all the throwing early landing decent shots...Brash rallied a bit but too little too late and the stash gets the upset win

Posted by dromano13 on November 20, 2008 at 05:45 PM

Brashear should retire to his next job of purse snatching. He is everything that is wrong with the sport. It warms my heart to see him get pounded. Next stop - a seat on death row!

Posted by tyrone on November 20, 2008 at 12:09 PM

George :The hedgehog" Parros with the win. Brashear just suck$. Boring as all hell he is. Your team loses momentum and you lose the fight. I'd rather watch the paint dry than watch Brashear. YAWN!

Posted by OneilltheGiant on November 20, 2008 at 07:23 AM

Not much in this Parros lands a few rights to the side of Brashears head so narrow win Parros.

Posted by JCobra67 on November 20, 2008 at 03:20 AM

Parros gets the win. If Parros had any sort of balance he would be really good, but he has terrible balance so he's just good. He still gets the win here with a few good shots to the back of the head.

Posted by Jellyczar on November 20, 2008 at 01:12 PM

Parros gets the nod...two decent showings in a row for the porno stash..

Posted by superheckman on November 20, 2008 at 03:02 PM

I have to give it to the Stache in this bout. Brashear didn't land anything substantial and actually missed a few shots at the end. I wish Parros would learn how to keep his balance better, it could've been a better fight.

Posted by mikebflorida on November 20, 2008 at 09:21 AM

Brash gets a taste of his own medicine. Nice.

Posted by vortases002 on November 20, 2008 at 01:58 PM

Donald Brashear is still tough, but slowing down. Don't know if he'll be around next year with all the younger heavies coming on. Win Parros.

Posted by tristan16 on November 20, 2008 at 10:10 AM

Parros just by a few back of the head punches...nothing spectacular.

Posted by PastorJ on November 20, 2008 at 08:06 AM

Parros was definitely the aggressor and got in more shots. Brashear comes back with some shots late, but edge to Parros.

Posted by Bear72 on November 20, 2008 at 09:45 AM

very close fight slight edge to parros dandy though

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 20, 2008 at 11:42 AM

Parros with the W. Brashear just looked lost in that fight.

Posted by Hiker on November 20, 2008 at 06:30 PM

Not close

Posted by adambomb13 on November 20, 2008 at 09:52 AM

It's funny how Stortini makes the review without being in the fight !! As far as the bout, Brashear got in REAL close, kind of like getting in tight with your girlfriend tight. The stache threw some big rabbit punches and Huggy looked like he took them well before he started to throw. John Holmes with the W, barely.

Posted by brymaster1 on November 20, 2008 at 04:32 PM

i cant believe Parros won

Posted by Thunder Cat 2 on November 21, 2008 at 02:28 PM

Parros wins this one for me, he landed a good 3-4 punches to the back of brashears head. good fight for parros i though.

Posted by Towmater on November 20, 2008 at 11:24 PM

Good shots by Parros, plus points for the mustache.

Posted by steelcity33 on November 21, 2008 at 12:19 AM

I can't stand Brashear all he does and hold on like a bitch never just lets em fly. Give the win to Parros. Marty should have hit him HARDER!

Posted by kimocoyote on November 20, 2008 at 08:33 PM

Big Don got a head like coconut. Big George needs ice to the hand at the end. Like most heavyweights lots of tug, lots of back to the head. What you get most of the time anymore. Edge to Parros

Posted by Muggsy on November 20, 2008 at 04:50 PM

"Nuggie patrol, nuggie patrol!!!!!" -Donald Brashear Edge to Stash for more nugies.

Posted by jrw89sbk on April 12, 2009 at 11:02 PM

Close fight. Parros with the edge.

Posted by LAKINGSNUT on November 21, 2008 at 01:06 AM

win George Parros! Brashear has gotten wins for less than this! stop being hypocrites!

Posted by pitslam on November 20, 2008 at 10:41 AM

Parros wins. ( Did I just say that ) Punches to the back of the head from Brash does not equal a draw he just knows there is no one to punch him back from that side.

Posted by jkluhr on November 20, 2008 at 10:54 AM

Win to Parros, punches to the back of the head aren't great but there better then punches to the helmet.

Posted by Boom Boom Belak on November 20, 2008 at 02:35 PM

Parros was smart. If Brashear gets his left hand free and starts throwing bombs it's pretty much over. Good strategy by Parros.

Posted by pmarz1 on November 20, 2008 at 03:37 PM

edge to Parros.......

Posted by SOCALFAN on November 20, 2008 at 02:38 PM

George has the win. Brasear did get in a couple at the end but what was that cheap shot at the end when they were down on the ice. So much of the "code". What a looser Don.

Posted by penman1188 on November 20, 2008 at 06:42 PM

very close fight.. parros is working on the back of brashears head and than brashear throws a few good blows and takes down parros i give the nod to parros

Posted by scooter231 on November 20, 2008 at 04:24 PM

Close fight. Would have to give the edge to the 'stache.

Posted by kings0575 on November 20, 2008 at 02:00 AM

parros got this one, landed more punches, and controlled the fight. I'd be amazed if parros didn't break his hand in that fight.

Posted by truitt on February 22, 2009 at 03:51 PM

Brash losses again...Parros beat his mellon badly until the end

Posted by Muscles on December 23, 2008 at 04:23 PM

Brashear got Brasheared with a bunch of punches to the back of the head.

Posted by DetroitIan on November 20, 2008 at 04:37 AM

Gotta give it to Parros. Brashear started throwing em at the end. But Parros landed at least 4 good shots to Brashear's head.

Posted by BooSanta on November 21, 2008 at 10:15 PM

Wow, an upset here! Parros tries to fight Brashear's game and out punches him on the Punch stat. Brashear goes into the huggy mode but Parros lands about 8 rights to his 6. Parros with the win. Brashear will keep going when his opponent is down so the refs had a hand in this win for Parros too.

Posted by Hell of a TILT on November 20, 2008 at 09:22 AM

Parros was the only one who wanted to exchange blows......Brash was hugging the entire time......Win for Parros, but with a possible broken hand from pounding on the back of Brash's melon.

Posted by bruins rule on November 20, 2008 at 08:43 AM

have to give parros the win here landing the better punches.

Posted by yzermaneely on November 20, 2008 at 02:28 AM

I was at the game, and there it looked a lot more like a Parros win. I'll still give it to him in a close match.

Posted by abucketofyuck on November 20, 2008 at 04:04 PM

'stache with the (slight) win in a back of the head punching contest

Posted by plum29 on November 20, 2008 at 02:05 AM

good scrap, but i have to go with the power of the STACHE. win for Parros.... Brashear never really landed.

Posted by mrfistykuffs on November 21, 2008 at 12:17 AM

Parros landed the most quality shots, most to the back of Brashear's head, but any head shot without the helmet has an impact. Slight comeback at the end by Brashear but to little to late.

Posted by dlbishop2213 on December 09, 2008 at 09:00 PM

Good Fight, very strategical

Posted by gap001 on November 23, 2008 at 02:26 AM

man, I felt sorry for Brashear. Had he checked for brain damage? Clear winner Parros

Posted by barnibizer on November 20, 2008 at 07:45 PM

Most comments are bullshit...this was a poor fight...Parros landed nothing of signficance...clear draw....those back of the head shots hurt Parros' hand more than Brashears head

Posted by imissbarnaby36 on November 21, 2008 at 10:32 PM

WOW some really awesome punches to the back of the helmet for both guys....sick....how is this garbage pceashit fight a 5? when everyone gives good fights with people with not as big of names as this shitty ratings, its bullshit

Posted by Wildfan01 on November 20, 2008 at 10:43 AM

fall down ends it, both land to the back of the head not much doing here.

Posted by Spaz on November 20, 2008 at 06:12 PM

60% for Parros? Really?

Posted by chad420 on November 20, 2008 at 06:05 PM

ron jeremy didnt land any 2 his face or even close...brash threw pretty much the same later.... a underachieving draw

Posted by greenwood on June 25, 2009 at 09:37 PM

This wasn't a strong effort from either of them.

Posted by costa1416 on November 20, 2008 at 11:52 AM

wow all brashear does is hug!!!!!!!!!!! i hate how people talk about him like he is tough....he is strong but he hates 2 trade punch for punch

Posted by sick on November 20, 2008 at 05:35 AM

Nobody landed much solid. Parros early, Brash late, draw. I think a few people voted for Parros out of hatred for Brash.

Posted by bouch19 on November 20, 2008 at 06:00 PM

average for the guys

Posted by Barrel03 on November 20, 2008 at 06:37 PM

draw in my opinion, parros early, then brash at the end

Posted by notfadeaway on November 22, 2008 at 05:03 PM

How can you vote Parros the winner when he went down because of Brash's heavy punches at the end? This isn't a boxing match with punch stats, etc... it's a hockey fight. Parros went down... he loses.

Posted by FotiuNystrom on November 21, 2008 at 06:23 PM

Win Parros. Wouldve liked to see em stay up tho!

Posted by D3STRO on November 20, 2008 at 12:55 PM

meh ... it was alright

Posted by J.R. Abel on November 20, 2008 at 03:41 PM

These fights are always tough to call. When the guy throwing and landing more falls down as soon as the other guy starts to get going. But I still have to give a very small advantage to Parros. I am partially biased though because I hate Brashear.

Posted by Sweeney2112 on November 20, 2008 at 09:43 AM

Can't believe I'm going to say this but edge to parros

Posted by dfergin on November 21, 2008 at 01:14 PM

Parros can play for my team any day.

Posted by giefs on November 26, 2008 at 01:59 PM

Good match. Nice hits from both sides, but Parros with the win.
