"boulton why drop the gloves if you dont want to fight." What do you mean? Boulton was the one who skated at Orr right after the gloves were off. And he threw the only punch (which missed). He had Orr in a dominant position, but the linesmen jumped in before he could do anything with it. I don't care for Boulton, but you're way off with that comment.

I feel cheated. What a timewaste!

Posted by Chaotic8 on January 23, 2008 at 06:49 PM

damn linesmen, who is at a sever disadvantage in this scrap? No one, cause it never got past the initial grapple.

Posted by rjmont on January 23, 2008 at 09:15 AM

Not a fight.

Posted by b4mv01 on January 23, 2008 at 03:53 PM

The refs should have gotten out of the way and let things go alot longer

Posted by bugeatsdirtx on January 26, 2008 at 10:17 PM

crap fight - i voted for orr just because i couldnt stand to see him with less votes than boulton. Boulton AND exelby need to get new jobs - the thrashers need a real enforcer so that poor little 'kovy' doesnt throw his temper tantrums. Kovalchuk wouldnt get so cranky if he had some real fighters to keep people off his back.

A waste to show.

Posted by foiledup on March 01, 2008 at 12:07 PM

Bad fight. Wasn't Orr's fault. Seemed like Boulton Knew that Orr would have killed him if he got back up so Boulton held him down.DRAW

"I love you Eric." Let's just cuddle and fall to the Ice. "Ok. I love you to Colton" Hug hug. What a joke.

not even a fight! the f**king lineman stepped in way too quickly

Posted by midar on January 23, 2008 at 11:31 AM

a shift + delete crap , next time guys

Posted by killmachine on January 23, 2008 at 11:16 AM

that was stupid, Boulton looked like he didn't really want that one

Posted by lovejoy on January 23, 2008 at 03:01 AM

poor. nothing happened - draw. looks like Boulton likes only to throw cheap shot and no to go into open fight.

Posted by Formerref on January 25, 2008 at 04:50 PM

Huh

Posted by SCOTTSO on January 23, 2008 at 11:22 AM

IF THERE ARE NO PUNCHES IS IT A FIGHT?

Posted by trpaulson on January 23, 2008 at 05:19 PM

Draw. No fight. Just once, I'd like to see someone "accidently" clock one of these zebras.

Posted by dromano13 on January 23, 2008 at 05:50 PM

Orr and Hollweg have 5 points in 99 games. Boulton has the same number in half as many games and averaging les than 8 Minutes a game. Bottom line is O R R is a P U S S, Hollweg is a complete moron. Boulton will go with anyone! I would rather have Boulton than Orr and Hollweg

Posted by stizzo on January 23, 2008 at 01:26 PM

Obviously the refs should have held off longer - both were good about not throwing any dirty punches while they were grapling and neither one were hurt - could have been much better and instead, we are left with another crap fight that could have been much more

Posted by chl37 on January 23, 2008 at 07:40 AM

boulton why drop the gloves if you dont want to fight.

Posted by BattleAxe13 on January 23, 2008 at 04:13 PM

Boulton knew Orr was gonna come back and kill him. Boulton's been a real @$$ lately. Draw for a nothing fight.

Posted by Super Mario 66 on January 23, 2008 at 06:45 PM

I'm surprised all the Orr homers didn't say he landed a few 'bombs' in this one. Sorry to say guys, but Orr is 0-2 vs. Laraque. If you say he won the last bout between the two, you should be kicked off this site and only be allowed to view the "ILoveColton.com" site. Let's keep it real.

Posted by slav on January 23, 2008 at 10:01 AM

These guys wanted to go but , again, the linesmen in this leaugue are nothing short of a pathetic joke!

Posted by dunno on January 23, 2008 at 02:08 AM

boring

Posted by BooSanta on January 23, 2008 at 01:02 PM

I guess with all the hitting going on they had to drop the gloves just to prevent any further....hitting??

Posted by dr00r00 on January 23, 2008 at 07:31 PM

2 min for roughing!! Not a fight. Give Bolton his props for droppin' em with a much bigger and longer reach Orr.

Posted by bluesrule08 on January 23, 2008 at 04:08 PM

crap fight...refs broke it up too early

Posted by Christian_LaBoy on January 23, 2008 at 06:26 PM

booo

Posted by Buzz605 on January 25, 2008 at 06:21 PM

The linesmen need to stay out, let them fight if they are gonna fight. I would have loved to see Boulton get his a** kicked!

Posted by dansal55 on January 23, 2008 at 06:36 AM

Nothing fight. Too bad, they both looked like they were ready to throw some bombs. The way the Trashers are playing, Bolts better put those hands in ice every night. Last night Atlanta makes a line change and leaves the puck unattended for Straka to go in alone on a breakaway. Goal! Maybe they felt like staying home in Hotlanta.

Posted by steakbelly8000 on January 24, 2008 at 09:46 AM

Since Boulton clearly wanted to hold on for dear-life, win by default for Orr... Boulton was dropped hard by Orr last season, so i don't blame him for hangin' on...

Posted by mikebflorida on January 23, 2008 at 10:23 AM

TKO win for Boulton! Knocked him down with that punch to the shoulder pad and pinned Orr! Big win for Boulton! Seriously, I was reading the threads last night and saw that people were mad that Orr fell and they made up their mind that Boulton pinned him and wouldn't let him back up. Well, Orr fell down which is Orr's fault and the linesmen jump in. I don't blame Boulton at all for being defensive since Orr has a ko punch. What the fock would you rag fans do in the same situation? Dorks.

Posted by jkluhr on January 23, 2008 at 11:08 AM

How could you call this anything other then a draw? Its pretty obvious Eric was scared of Orr so once Orr fell (his own fault) there was no way Eric was going to let him back up. A waste of a 5 minute penalty.

Posted by blackngold on January 23, 2008 at 02:19 PM

wtf was that?

Posted by DeeCee on January 23, 2008 at 08:55 AM

A snoozer. Not even worth uploading (LOL). So Big George L. SPANKED Orr????? What the heck fight were you watching. Must be a Pens fan. George likes to keep his opponents at a distance while spinning them around in circles to get them off balance. Colton recovered from that attempt to drop George at the end. I suggest you check the logs and have another look at that one.

Posted by Xeshybrid on January 23, 2008 at 01:59 AM

Well at least Orr didnt get spanked like he did with laraque. But man Orr has to learn how to fight.

Posted by Juha82 on January 23, 2008 at 04:13 PM

draw

Posted by SirYohans on January 23, 2008 at 02:03 PM

Damn, the refs are such idiots sometimes. Both guys were still on their feet. They didn't even give it a chance to get started. Orr would've punished him for the bullsit Boulton pulled againt the Sabres. P.S. - This "Xeshybrid" is a true bonehead. Orr is the most aggressive & entertaining fighter in the league. U wish he was on your FaggyTeam. It's idiots like this that make me not rate a fight fairly. I mean u go see ORR vs. LARAQUE which was a Draw with not much landing by either guy. But u see some homers writing "Orr got Owned/Dominated" and that Laraque landed "7 solid lefts." When in reality they all missed & maybe 1 or 2 grazed. So that's when my perception changes to "Orr Dropped The So Called Champ With 2 Rights." TKO YOU SUCKAS!

Posted by djaye on January 23, 2008 at 03:01 PM

zebras came in too soon

Posted by DMM on January 23, 2008 at 11:39 AM

Not a fight...nothing happend. Hey Xeshybrid...get a life. Orr won that last fight with Laraque. 3 Orr rights dropped him at the end!! It was close Lar had him early...BUT...Orr finished him off. Woop...what...Lar slipped! Dont think so!
