Beukeboom gets a short right in to the helmet another wrestling match not a fight.

Not much of a fight REALLY. A very short fight as Lindros does't receive a fightnign major. Beukeboom seems landing maybe not his solid right but either takendown by Lindros or just slips down. Lindros gets top of him. A DRAW.

It was more of an attempted fight on the part of Buke. No winner in this fight. If anything Beukeboom was the big loser. He gets nailed into the boards; attempts to fight and ends up in the net with a few shots to the head for his troubles and a game ejection.

The Rangers are losing quite heavily by this point in the game I beleive, Lindros crushes Beukeboom up against the boards after Beukeboom has played the puck. That's enough for Beukeboom who gets up, goes after Lindros, sheds his gloves and jumps him. The fight falls to the ice and other players and the linesmen are quickly in as the players slide into the net.

Not sure how Lindros doesn't get a fighting here since you can see him pummeling away in the net for a few seconds, but maybe only the camera could see him. Draw Boom early Lindros in the net.

Big E lays out the big hit, Beukeboom instigates but you can see Lindros give the short rights when they both fell in the cage. That was Big E's first season when he was a novelty with the monster checks.

Beukeboom tries to save face after Lindros' hit and jumps him into the net. Lindros didn't look worse for wear afterward.

NOT a fan of JB, but he handled his business proper, especially for that era... and not to bash Lindros, but if you fill a guy in like that, who's KNOWN to be tough, you gotta expect a mugging, or need to wait around for him to come after you.. (imo) either way, this is great old school retribution, and more guys who take the hit need to get up and settle it, rather than teammates thesedays. even though it was a mugging the whole way, and deservedly so, #23 FTW!
