Oscar Meyer

it's safe to say that losing a fight to someone named Oscar Lindberg qualifies as an all-time low... the holding on for dear life at the end doesn't help either.. #24 (in white) FTW

Pretty embarrassing for Read to get punched up (albeit nice softies) from a lad who couldn't beat up a 20lb punching bag. Win Lindberg, no quality at all.

The refs really put their whistles away the entire sequence leading up to this. Laughton and Read both wanted a piece of someone so Lindberg slew foot Laughton and fought Read. Not a classy move slew footing someone but this wasn't a real classy game. Good for Lindberg stepping up for himself though. Big bad T. Glass was nowhere to be found, as usual.

to the extent there is a winner in the chin strap grabbing battle, I guess it was Lindberg

OMG I thought I saw it all! Take notice of who is standing there watching this crap"Dan I have my thumb in my mouth boyle"! Glass really made his presence known too, during this game "not"! lLinberg will now join the rest of the" fighters" in the league to get his name on the fight leader board. Put a bullet in my head!

geez oh pete, I have a buddy that works in the TV station in St Louis that broadcasted all of the Blues games, I am gonna beg him for old archived games with the Flyers and Bruins and Blackhawks and Red wings etc. There has to be some old fights that are not on this site that would really get the blood pumping.... these weak ass tussles should never even be posted.

both guys got their nhl fighting premiere but not really deserved...could have been just roughing penalty.there wasnt a fight but read ducked immediately so i cant call it a draw

The extended highlight of everyone ripping and falling over each other was better than the fight. Side note, as a Ranger fan, while Simmonds is a piece of garbage, he did not deserve a match penalty. Was McDonagh expecting to not get hit? Protect yourself FFS.

Ugh. Narrow win Lindbergh. God help us.

Ridiculous! McD gets his brains scrambled on a sucker punch, a pacifist like Lindbergh drops the gloves, and the puny 3(Boyle, Girardi, and Yandle)keep getting free passes to play, while our stud savior, Dylan McIlrath continues to ride the pine. AV must go.

Fight?.....?Where ? .....while we are at it was happened here how come no more reviewers and posters? Terrible excuse for a fight here

Read's turn to play tough guy today. Seriously this entire team will have a fight this season. That being said, if you're gonna try an step in for a teammate at least try and do something. Lindberg wins for not turtling.

Sorta agree with Great Murray, but I would have said the Keystone Cops rather than the Curly, Larry and Moe. Also agree the lead-up to the fight had far greater entertainment value than the fight itself. Lindberg won, I guess, but does anyone care?

The whole episode was funny...but so is The 3 Stooges...which this resembled! NYAK NYAK NYAK NYAK BTW...No sucker punch to McDonough. He cross-checker Simmonds in the face with his stick. Do any of you Rangers homers think he isn't going to get punched in the face for that? If so; Bettman has a place for you at his Sunday brunch...one proviso, you have to wear your tutu.
