Magnum can't get the Ferrari started as Jackman holds on like Higgins creating an uneventful "unintense" excuse to make obscure Tom Selleck references

Posted by ahartnack on March 06, 2014 at 07:39 PM

' After Goatee(Parros is not 'Stache anymore) went down, my first thought was "Did he bang his head again? Slight advantage 'Stache, I mean Goatee. '

Posted by King of Goons on March 05, 2014 at 11:46 PM

Jackman tries to hug Parros to avoid a beating. He succeeds, ...but still loses the fight. Win Parros in an awful fight. Gave it a 2 but it probably deserved a 1. Good to see George still throwing em'. Thought he might call it quits after getting KO'd by Boulton.

Jackman gets the nod with the take down.

Posted by filthynumber1 on March 06, 2014 at 09:09 PM

Parros bangs his head on the ice. Guy has no luck. And it looked hard. Glad hes ok.

Posted by Spinner55 on March 06, 2014 at 05:39 PM

Crap fight...Parros because Jackman was that bad.

Posted by Elegance on March 07, 2014 at 09:50 PM

T'aint they cute?

Posted by the kid 61 on March 06, 2014 at 10:06 AM

hug-fest. jackman didn't want to fight.

Posted by sbelan on March 06, 2014 at 08:47 AM

Parros win. Still, if the guy is going to remain in the league, he should spend the summer working on his on-skate balance. Win or lose, every Parros fight ends with him falling to the ice and nearly knocking himself out. Maybe he's better off focusing on his t-shirt business.

Posted by pepsigenerate on March 06, 2014 at 08:41 AM

parros with more trying punches for the decision

Posted by shawn46 on March 06, 2014 at 01:43 PM

that looked like a kid trying to keep his drunken old man from starting a fight with him... and perhaps it was.

What the hell was Jackman doing here? Winner - Le Staché

Posted by Gaz4prez on March 06, 2014 at 06:03 AM

Parros with a win by default as Jackman doesn't throw a single punch , hardest shot of this fight is George hitting his head on the ice, when his hand went over his bucket I thought it was a career , glad to see he's ok and still mixing it up

Posted by srehm1 on March 06, 2014 at 07:31 PM

Parros was the only one really trying to throw anything.

Posted by BooSanta on March 22, 2014 at 06:04 PM

Big Clumsy back in the saddle taking on his old team and though controlling and winning the fight, falls hard into the ice once again. Retirement and coping with these blows is not going to be kind to him if it keeps happening.

Posted by staceyb on March 06, 2014 at 05:20 AM

Jackman was turned away from Parros toward the bench as though he was more interested in getting a swig of Gatorade than fighting. W- Le Grand Stache.

Posted by hughcares on March 06, 2014 at 01:21 PM

If Parros is so smart why did he keep punching the back of Jackman's helmet? Those concussions are catching up to poor George. I hear Princeton sent him letters to try and get him to stop saying he went to school there.

Posted by Scouser on March 06, 2014 at 02:58 PM

Gone are the days when Anaheim can claim to have an enforcer to be proud of. George giving a quick reminder of what they are missing.

Posted by GCBC00 on March 05, 2014 at 11:47 PM

Tied up fists and more grappling. Glad Parros is still willing to give er'. As mentioned previously, I cringe everytime I see George go to the ice, regardless if he won or not. Gotta love the guy. Princeton degree and still tossin' fists. Win Parros in a...3?

Posted by 1993again on March 06, 2014 at 08:46 AM

Parros win Jackman No-show.

Posted by tnarg62 on March 06, 2014 at 05:03 PM

le stache was gonna lay the beatdown but jackmaster tackled him...

Posted by Gallery God on March 07, 2014 at 01:36 PM

Jackman is AWFUL. Always has been. Win Parros.

Posted by DARCY T on March 30, 2014 at 08:06 AM

jackman knew he is out of his class and did a good job not to get hit most of the time.edge parros

Posted by Amerkfan8 on March 07, 2014 at 11:25 PM

All Parros here.

Posted by ljt525 on March 08, 2014 at 02:04 PM

Too much hugging - punches to the helmet, not much

Posted by unvy on March 06, 2014 at 11:59 AM

Not much of a fight.. hand it to Jackman for answering the bell after a good hit.. but Unsportsmanlike??? How is that even a penalty that exist in a sport where fighting is such a big part of the game? I hate the instigator rule, but call it or don't.. unsportsmanlike means the ref didn't have the balls to put Montreal down a man.

Posted by hardcase on March 07, 2014 at 05:09 PM

Both parros and Jackman are totally useless as fighters

Posted by mikebflorida on March 06, 2014 at 09:36 AM

Jackman pretty much goes full coward in this one. He answered the bell but was scared do death of an irate Parros. Good response by the Habs after a hard hit from Jackman.

Posted by EGodard49 on March 07, 2014 at 01:09 PM

Good to see Parros still dropping the gloves and doing what he does best, sticking up for his teammates. Good hit by Jackman and Parros took exception but landed little in the fight. Am I the only one who cringes every time the Stache goes to the ice?

Posted by rocky 1 on March 07, 2014 at 02:00 AM

Jackman doing the Stortini here praying that George does not get a free hand!Jackman and Martin get my first ever Pussy of the night award! Martin who turned down two invitations to go with Gazdic. What a pussy!

Posted by cheesecup on March 06, 2014 at 01:09 AM

Ok, just gonna throw this out, I think big George is a great fighter and one of the truely honourable tough guys that I have seen play. I was hoping that he wouldn't take another fight this season because he really doesn't have anything to prove to anybody. Good guy, job done, win parros.

Posted by The Mad House on March 05, 2014 at 11:17 PM

Glad to see Parros is back and still kicking Gotta love the stache. He's smart to go after Jackman, knowing he probably won't get hit. I did cringe when he hit the ice, looked like he bumped his noggin. He did give the zebra a tap signifying he was okay, lets hope he is.

Posted by shawnrocks on March 05, 2014 at 11:05 PM

always good to see paros

Posted by Great Murray on March 06, 2014 at 01:11 PM

Jackman spends the whole fight trying not to get jacked. Parros wins easily. He was the only one that fought.

Posted by endor on March 06, 2014 at 11:04 AM

Parros. Jackman is satisfied to just hug Big George--may want to check Big George for hickies!! Good to see Parros mixing it up again.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 07, 2014 at 03:03 PM

Nothing really happening here except a glorified wrestling match. The Stache hits the ice hard and I find myself getting nervous about him getting concussed yet again. I originally voted draw but after watching again I've given the edge to Parros.

Posted by pwb94 on March 06, 2014 at 03:55 PM

I can't see how a collective 11.8 percent of people saw this fight as close to a Jackman win or draw.

Posted by boldbilly on March 06, 2014 at 07:53 AM

Not much of a fight when you only have one guy throwing and the other holding on for dear life....Parros with the very obvious does any one vote Jackman or even draw here.

George is back winning again

Posted by doobi1 on March 06, 2014 at 08:27 PM

Ouch my hand!!!! Parros would've beat the crap out of Jackman if he had landed only two of those swings. Have to give him credit for the rag doll toss and a win without any damage to either.

Posted by QUIGGS22 on March 06, 2014 at 10:17 AM

I'll give Parros the W just for not getting a concussion

Posted by Raoul Duke 708 on March 06, 2014 at 01:36 AM

Did big George bump his noodle on the ice again at the end there? Time to move up to the booth and park that epic stache over a microphone. I'm always worried he's going to die on the ice...

Posted by Mounty in NC on March 09, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Jackman with the good hit then pays the price. Not much of a fight but Parros did land a punch or two. I was worried for Parros at the end, thought he may have hit his head again and wasn't going to be able to get up

Posted by Ratank on March 06, 2014 at 01:38 PM

Jackman with the moral win by not being beaten like a drum. W Parros, a 2 and some nice waltz masterclass for those interested.

Posted by Humper on March 06, 2014 at 10:58 AM

Jackman summons up all his might and focuses it exclusively on the avoidance of getting punched anywhere remotely critical. For Parros it's another win and 1:15 of his life that he wasted.

Posted by kkdowning on March 06, 2014 at 08:57 AM

Behn Wilson -- Those references were not obscure (if you are over 40), too bad a "TJ" and a "helicopter" reference did not sneak in . . . I only did this comment because the fight was not much to look at.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 06, 2014 at 10:02 PM

It looked to me like Jackman wanted to make out with George, and fortunately Parros took exception to Jackman's advances.

Posted by tiburon4 on March 06, 2014 at 02:15 PM

I expected way better than this. Parros did more on this one.

Posted by Markiz77 on March 06, 2014 at 01:32 AM

jackman hangs on for dear life here

Posted by legion31 on March 06, 2014 at 03:07 AM

win Parros !
