Funny to see the Bruins haters chirp, would any of your teams non-fighters drop the gloves with Kassian? *Crickets* That's what I thought.

Caron's an underperforming top ten pick from the 09(?) draft who is trying to keep a spot in the lineup by sticking up for a teammate after a nasty (but clean) hit by Kassian. The rest is Caron holding on for dear life against a guy who probably would hospitalize him in an actual fight. Kassian. As for the Bruins going soft....they're a hockey team, not a penis. The lack of a fighter in their lineup is a management call. There's guys available, but it looks like the org wants to embrace this "team toughness" approach that's served other teams so well. lol

Another loss for a Bruin. Unless you're from Boston. Then TKO for Caron as he pummeled the classless goon Kassian.

Posted by rickven on December 31, 2013 at 12:59 PM

Why pick a fight with Kassian if you're too scared to actually fight him...this was just a hug fest due to Caron wimping out.

Posted by TAD on December 29, 2013 at 09:10 PM

Poor Caron, overmatched in everyway here. At least he stuck up for a teammate

Posted by B-Bear on January 04, 2014 at 03:05 PM

draw with the goon kassian

Posted by bigmike53 on December 29, 2013 at 06:17 PM

Good hit by Kassian. You can't win a fight by not throwing punches! Win for Kassian.

Oh my god this got a 2.6?! LOL. That's generous. Ohhh Caron… young grasshopper try so hard to stay with big team. I'm just glad he's not dead because he's a decent winger with all the injuries we have. Well, let's get beyond the obvious and get down to what's REALLY going on here on this site. Day after day after day after day after day… there is large group of FUCKING LOSERS commenting on every chance they get to try and attempt to call the Bruins 'soft' or a bad team or cheap or this or that or some other random bullshit. I think the REAL HATRED from these people is coming from the fact that their team is likely sub .500 aaaaaaand we're ROLLING with our B Squad. Yeah I mean I would fucking hate that too if I WASN'T a Bruins fan, but I am so fuck all of you. HEY KING OF GOONS YOU STUPID FUCK - I DON'T NEED TO LOOK AT THE RECENT LUCIC FIGHTS TO FIND THE BULL SHIT YOUR CANDY ASS SAID. FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING CUNTY ASS MOTHERFUCKER. GO DIE.

Not sure what Caron was attempting here, he lost anyway.

Posted by hockeyonly on January 04, 2014 at 11:24 AM

wow, these comments?? the kid sticks up for a teammate & everyone makes like he then ran away?? what was that fight 10 seconds?? however even as a lifelong bruins fan (thru lots of bad teams). when jack edwards is the announcer.... oh the humiliation!!

Posted by OverBoards on December 31, 2013 at 05:04 PM

Not much of a fight after a clean check by Kassian. Don't know why Caron (or anyone, for that matter) feels he has to retaliate for a clean check.

Posted by rocky 1 on December 29, 2013 at 01:16 AM

Hug fest by Caron and win for Kassian beating a none fighter!

Posted by slavv on December 29, 2013 at 01:24 PM

What is Caron thinking?!? If you are gonna drop the gloves, at least throw one punch!!!

Posted by HOCKEY GOD on December 30, 2013 at 06:13 PM

Caron tried to whisper his phone number into Kassian's ear but decided to make out with him then and there. Kass would have tied off like a Lucic fan sucker punch. Boston needs to experience more of those seeing as they dole them out so frequently themselves. Pussies. All of them. Even Looselips.

Not a fight don't bother watchin

Posted by djsedna on December 31, 2013 at 10:16 AM

Not a great match. Caron at least gets some props for having balls, but there's nothing but a turtle here. As for the Bruins going soft, Thornton is gone and Lucic and Chara have been playing so well that nobody wants them in the box. Let's not forget that although both Milan Lucic and Zdeno Chara are tough guys, they're also both incredibly disciplined players (with an exception from time-to-time with Lucic). People still fear Lucic. People still fear Chara. But when you're the top team in the Atlantic, fighting comes second. Let's also not forget that Iggy has been smashing faces left and right...

Draw, Caron held on for dear life after challenging Kassian after a clean hit.,

Posted by Spinner55 on December 29, 2013 at 10:33 AM

Lousy fight

Posted by Humper on December 28, 2013 at 09:22 PM

Much ado about nothing. Actually, little ado about nothing.

Posted by kkdowning on December 29, 2013 at 04:34 PM

I guess some kind of nod should be given to Caron, but Caron immediately regretted that decision. So, do you think that will deter Kassian from checking people in the future?

Posted by Madhouse27 on December 30, 2013 at 08:19 PM

Caron looks around and determines that unfortunately HE is the biggest guy on the ice. I give him some credit for trying to "enforce" Kassian's (clean) hit on the 5'4" Warofsky. I give Kassian credit as well for understanding the situation and not murdering the kid.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on December 28, 2013 at 11:59 PM

Kassian with the win in a crap fight.

Posted by chad420 on December 30, 2013 at 09:41 AM

Biggest Balls award of the year goes to......Jordan MK

Posted by Viper207 on December 28, 2013 at 08:38 PM

Kassian with the only punches thrown and landed. Nice shift for the big man.

caron stop trying to act tough out there

Posted by EK65 on December 29, 2013 at 01:03 AM

Unfortunately a brain was once again left off leafs2006's christmas gift list... win kassian I guess? Not really anything here...

Posted by Goonish on December 28, 2013 at 10:06 PM

Some respect to non-fighter Caron for willingly dropping with Kassian - but he opts to just hug it out rather than letting him tee off. Easy win for the fighter in red but not much of anything to see here.

Posted by Behn Wilson on January 01, 2014 at 04:17 PM

Another clean hit not requiring any response For more detail... What Bruins34 said,,,

Posted by MICHYS on December 29, 2013 at 07:48 AM

Shame that Caron had to fight much bigger and stronger Kassian. There is a question if Kassian would do the the same if Chara was on he ice?

Posted by DARCY T on January 06, 2014 at 05:17 AM

good for kid caron to step up for his teammate against proved heavyweight but he should try to fight when he dropped his gloves and not only to hug...edge kassian i dont think fight was needed after that clean hit though

Posted by kinga101 on December 29, 2013 at 07:56 PM

Other than the first big right and a few body shots by Kassian, not much of a fight with Caron's bear hug, but you have to give Kassian the win unless you're a complete biased fool.

Posted by lbachand on December 29, 2013 at 08:04 AM

This is a clear case of Caron objecting to a clean hit, then losing his mind and taking on a MUCH superior fighter.........luckily Kassian was classy enough to not totally destroy Caron!!!

Posted by Great Murray on December 29, 2013 at 11:21 AM

Kassian lands A punch...he wins. Caron did what he was supposed to do...let Ottawa know they wouldn't be running guys without consequences. You guys that don't like that part of hockey stick to soccer!

Posted by King of Goons on December 28, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Jordan Caron sticks up for his rookie teammate. Now, …who's going to stick up for Caron. Another Bruin gets physically manhandled and takes a loss in an uneventful crappy fight. It seems like this soft Bruin team never wins any of their fights and is trying to survive in the fisticuffs department on their fading reputation of a few years ago. No one is intimidated by them anymore. In fact, it appears that most teams go looking for altercations with them so they can beat the tar out of some wannabe tough guy, cream puff. I guess what comes around goes around eventually.

Posted by srehm1 on January 19, 2014 at 10:07 AM

Props to Caron for coming to his teammates aid, but he didn't do anything in this fight. Win Kassian.

Posted by staceyb on December 28, 2013 at 09:52 PM

Only seconds before coming to Warsofsky's rescue from the hard but clean hit by Kassian you can see Caron plaster Condra into the boards. The retaliatory fight was blah but Kassian took the decision.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on December 28, 2013 at 09:33 PM

Big clean hit by Kassian and Caron was holding on for dear life.

Posted by Leafs2006 on December 28, 2013 at 09:23 PM

Kassian, retard, just like pumpkin head Neil , ready to hit a guy when he's down, with craZy eyes as a coach, this team is no where bound, fat dog celebrating with 14 quarter pounder double cheeses

Posted by bambam118 on December 29, 2013 at 12:29 PM

This is a garbage fight first and foremost. Good hit by Kassian on warsofsky. Why Caron challenged Kassian is beyond me cuz its quite obvious they arent in the same weight class. Caron does a surprising job of neutralizing Kassian's reach....its unfortunate that he did that by holding on for dear life. Kassian got nothing going on in the fight therefore I have to call this one a draw....on paper Kassian should have destroyed the non fighter.

Posted by francoisleroux on December 29, 2013 at 01:56 AM

Jordan Caron regrets this decision before his gloves even hit the ice, and it shows in the hug-a-thon. Caron's lucky Kassian went easy on him. I would have ranked this one a 1, but since I didn't have to listen to Jack Edwards, I'll give it a 2. Beauty hit. Leafs2006 needs to lay off the 'nog.

Posted by boldbilly on December 29, 2013 at 12:31 AM

Jordan Caron the huggy panda bear.......Holding on for dear life......easy win for Kassian with 2 shots landed........was there a reason for his starting this fight other than to look like a chicken holding on and not throwing.......these Bruins are pathetic.

Posted by kotalikmyballs on December 28, 2013 at 08:37 PM

Not sure what Caron was thinking here. Clean hit by Kassian, who is a a top heavyweight, too. I guess he was trying to fire up the listless Bruins. He should have tried on someone closer to his weight class. He was lucky to escape this one in one piece.

Posted by bigdog2007 on December 28, 2013 at 08:32 PM

Another crybaby wanting to fight after a clean hit. Picked the wrong guy. Orr's worst nightmare with the big win....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
