Stop voting with your hearts guys. I like Arron Asham too, and I know it's nice to see underdogs win ...but let's stick to the facts here. This site can't be all Ranger fans ...can it? George Parros controls the fight for the win, despite a good effort from Asham just to not get his head taken off.

Posted by staceyb on April 23, 2013 at 09:01 PM

I thought Asham was going to put a dent in Parros' jaw with that one shot. Last week in his loss to Rosehill, Asham gave the Flyer a black eye with the first punch. He's still as tough as they come. Meanwhile aside from his win over Nick Grossman, Le Grand Stache has had a pretty forgettable fight season.

Posted by mikebflorida on April 24, 2013 at 09:56 AM

Surprising draw considering the size advantage but some punches thrown by each guy, not much landing, and no damage done. Why isn't anyone voting draw? LOL it's pretty easy to vote this one a draw.

Posted by KO22 on April 23, 2013 at 10:25 PM

Parros is starting to be a bit of a bitch. Edge Asham for not being a bitch.

Posted by BrettB on April 25, 2013 at 09:56 AM

End of season dance. Going through the motions. Dropping of the gloves was the most spirited part of the fight. Yawn!

Posted by lb1631 on April 26, 2013 at 08:26 AM

Parros sucks as a hockey player and fighter. Asham fights a guy who is 50lbs heavier and holds his own. Draw!

Posted by Deke Dangle on April 25, 2013 at 09:31 AM

Asham lands a couple quality punches, but Parros throws more punches. Bonus point for Asham taking on a heavyweight. Bonus point to Parros for the stache. No clear winner here.

Posted by taunto93 on April 25, 2013 at 11:36 AM

Like Asham but this was a pretty even bout, gotta like the little guys fighting heavyweights

Posted by DARCY T on April 29, 2013 at 03:55 PM

i thought parros was going to win easily...draw...and 5

Posted by shawn46 on April 25, 2013 at 08:46 AM

Looks like a heart vote and not a fact vote... I am a big AA fan... tough as nails... gives up a ton of size and weight.. taking on a legit heavy.... and if I graded on a curve it would be all AA.... However there are no weight classes in hockey and straight up it looked even to me.. eventhough one would expect Paros to win with that size difference.. draw

Posted by BigBadBruin22 on April 24, 2013 at 01:38 AM

Parros

Posted by jnk07899 on April 24, 2013 at 11:02 AM

I couldn't tell whether they were mad at each other in the beginning of the fight or if they were saying, "Hey let's just not get hurt in this one, it's almost the postseason." Draw.

Posted by fade2black on April 23, 2013 at 10:36 PM

Draw all the way. No idea how any of you pick winners in this fight lol Nothing happened. How many punches landed? 6 total?

Posted by Pindar on April 25, 2013 at 01:20 AM

Are we all watching the same fight??? Big fan of both these guys but that was a draw if I've ever seen one.

Posted by Diablo69 on April 27, 2013 at 05:19 AM

I have to admit that Asham as gutzzzz and don't duck any1, tums up. That being said, i expected a lot more from the Movember guy who his saddly like others declining... I'm thinking DRAW here even if Movember controled the fight (as he should have considering diff weight class). Where the f$%# is the Scott-MacMachin fight ??? Very disapointing as I looked and the Pitz guy was scratched... pffff

Posted by dustyknuckles on April 26, 2013 at 05:30 PM

Draw.. Good bout by asham though in my mind to keep Parros at a distance... I miss the old lets stand toe to toe and just wheel bombs till someone falls....

Posted by captainmook on April 25, 2013 at 03:57 AM

Props to Asham for taking on Parros, who is a beast -- but AA has been tough as nails everywhere he's been, and is more than just a fourth line guy, he can make plays and contribute offensively. Call it a draw, but don't take on a guy like big George again, he could kill you.

Posted by hemightbedanny on April 24, 2013 at 09:40 PM

It was a draw 1. they were both up through the entire fight 2. no one even took a knee 3. Kind of a stupid reason, but the polls came out tied.

Posted by abadjoke88 on April 24, 2013 at 08:25 PM

this is a draw. We need to filter this place out of homers and haters. Both are good fighters, but no winner. Yes, Parros should have won it, but he didn't.

Posted by nait on April 24, 2013 at 11:11 PM

Parros is a joke

Posted by beowulf37 on April 25, 2013 at 11:31 PM

Parros should throw first and then see what happens

Posted by fernben8 on April 23, 2013 at 11:59 PM

Parros under estimates Asham and gets caught by one while on cruise control... Said it before, Asham is a very accurate puncher.

Posted by Plateworker on April 24, 2013 at 03:27 PM

Asham lands with the better punches on the Big Man. The Stache contorls but Lands nothing as Asham landed three good ones. Win Asham

Posted by ETR on April 25, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Going with Asham, Parros continues to rack up W's on this site by reputation more than accomplishments. asham landed only decent punch of the fight.

Posted by Gunslinger on April 24, 2013 at 09:29 AM

45.5% of the voters went with Parros, 45.5% went with Asham. That means that if its not a draw, almost half of the posters are idiots.

Posted by Jflah53 on April 24, 2013 at 01:11 AM

Surprisingly Asham handles Parros pretty well here. I give Asham a slight edge in this one. In reality Parros should have beaten him down BUT he doesn't. Both look no worse for the wear. How does anyone give Parros a W in this one ?? Maybe they saw a "Florida version" of this fight. It was close, but Asham with a very (unbelievable) slight edge ............

Posted by nycbob on April 23, 2013 at 08:05 PM

Should have been all parros over a much smaller guy, but asham with the best shots. Clowe parros would be fun

Posted by srehm1 on April 24, 2013 at 05:42 PM

Asham landed the better punches in this one.

Posted by HMai802915 on May 27, 2013 at 07:47 PM

Just going in circles but Asham handed some good rights in there while Parros just landed the equivalent of jabs!! Parros is a Great Fighter though.

Posted by Brooksy on April 24, 2013 at 05:34 PM

Say what you want , asham landed better shots from way out If you voted Paros its cause he should have won

Posted by AC1026 on April 23, 2013 at 09:33 PM

Asham with the win. Underdog/fights bigger man/punches him in the face. Who was the woman Parros is arguing with after the fight on the bench?? His mom? Some angry AARP member? WTH!! Excuse me after 2nd glance he is arguing with Asham. BTW @Tyrone you may need to watch the fight again. Parros does nothing. Asham takes it all the way.

Posted by bammer24 on April 24, 2013 at 02:31 AM

Not a fan of either but seems that Asham got the win there. What was Parros doing all that yapping about still trying to educate other fighters about Princeton studies on concussions. By the way. Pittsburgh Thanks For Scratching MacIntyre for tonights game. This has nothing to do with the players or fans .But who ever made that call From Everybody Here on Hockeyfights.com.GO FUCH YOUR SELF !!! YOU STUPID JACKHOLE.......

Posted by aj99ny on April 24, 2013 at 11:00 PM

Asham wont back down from anyone. He threw the better punches. The End

Posted by huddles on April 25, 2013 at 07:45 AM

watched twice ASHAM landed to face Parros did not win asham signed fan of neither team

Posted by slavv on April 24, 2013 at 01:16 PM

Asham gave up size but won the fight with better punches. Parros surprisingly maintained has balance after receiving a couple of solid shots....

Posted by Bobby M on April 24, 2013 at 04:49 PM

Parros looks tired. Asham is a pretty smart fighter, landed the better blows. Advantage Asham, barely.

Posted by GreatMurray on April 24, 2013 at 10:21 AM

Asham lands a couple of beauties. The midget wins!

Posted by sndaysnipr on April 24, 2013 at 12:44 PM

I'm a fan of neither club but Asham gets the only good shot in early on. Parros should of mangled A.A

Posted by iM No Sleep on April 23, 2013 at 08:40 PM

Decent fight , both were good but ash clearly landed a few straight hard punches.

Posted by Rypien on April 24, 2013 at 08:36 AM

How can you vote for Parros? He did not land one punch to the face, he threw what looked like weak body punches. Win Asham for not being boring and landing 3 great shots.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on April 24, 2013 at 11:30 PM

Asham with a couple good ones, then a sloppy domination of body shots by Parros Draw

Posted by pepsigenerate on April 23, 2013 at 08:30 PM

Parros with the win whom just calmly went with the flow.

Posted by ironbar44 on April 23, 2013 at 10:14 PM

nothing to see here ,PARROS only because ASHAM couldnt reach him

Posted by Brentwheeler1 on April 24, 2013 at 01:54 AM

Boring and Asham was smart to hang on and keep George away. No offense from Asham. George with the edge.

Posted by lovejoy on April 24, 2013 at 02:06 AM

Am I blind?? I can't see anything connected by Asham. Don't like Parros in this fight but slightest egde to him.

Posted by shane0mack on April 23, 2013 at 11:22 PM

I remember when Parros was a good fighter and people actually feared the 'stache. He barely handles the much smaller, but always game Asham. That said, he does use his reach advantage and get the win. Asham probably landed one shot at best while Parros landed a couple of weak throws. I don't understand why more people are voting for Asham – whether its the rangers homers or b/c of the mismatch. Clearly the panthers have no fans but a mismatch is not a reason to vote for the losing contestant.

Posted by tyrone on April 23, 2013 at 09:19 PM

A guy throws one glancing punch and you idiots are giving him (ASSHAM) the win? Retreads! Big George all the way. To those who gave ASSHAM the win, go to www.pearlvision.com

Posted by Jellyczar on April 23, 2013 at 08:25 PM

Asham isn't a heavyweight and it showed here. Not much of a scrap, Parros and his stache win. Hopefully a rematch later.

Posted by dapwas20 on April 23, 2013 at 10:40 PM

The "Stache" with the win. Too tall for Asham. punches on the shoulder don't count. The "Stache" is probably disappointed he didn't fall on the ice. Normally he goes down faster than an intern from the Clinton whitehouse...

Posted by The Mad House on April 23, 2013 at 08:55 PM

Asham fighting out of his weight class here, but he does a good job against the 'stache here. I'm still going with a W to Parros.

Posted by endor on April 25, 2013 at 06:38 PM

Stache kicks Ash. Wil Big George

Posted by brawl lover on April 24, 2013 at 05:17 AM

Parros controlled the fight and used numerous body shots to do it. Asham got 2-3 shots in but they had little effect.

Posted by Nystrom_23 on April 25, 2013 at 09:54 AM

I don't give points just because a smaller fighter fights a bigger guy. This was close but I give the edge to Parros for controlling the fight.

Posted by warrior13 on April 25, 2013 at 08:21 PM

It looked like parros was a little surprised AA didn't back down, no parros fan after the gudas attack, and hard not to cheer for the underdog but parros w a slight win, expected more from parros,

Posted by rocky 1 on April 24, 2013 at 06:03 PM

Asham did well but to say he won is just none sense!Win Big George who controlled the fight!

Posted by boldbilly on April 24, 2013 at 08:26 AM

I like both of these guys.... Slight edge goes to Parros....and hey look he actually keeps his balance here..... Asham=fearless warrior

Posted by retired2006 on April 24, 2013 at 11:37 AM

Not many connected, Parros the more aggressive, with some that landed. Win Parros.

Posted by Caps44 on April 25, 2013 at 12:45 PM

Asham tried, but against Parros? Asham for courage, but Parros with the win.

Posted by nojjon on April 26, 2013 at 10:22 AM

I give Asham credit for standing in there. Paros controlled the fight. Asham did land some punches but they did not affect Parros. Parros the win.

Posted by 777Big on April 24, 2013 at 05:37 AM

Parros was intent to impose his will. He is just too big for Asham and the long reach kept Asham at bay. Asham landed one early but had absolutely no effect on Parros.

Posted by bigsul513 on April 23, 2013 at 08:25 PM

Asham doing an excellent job staying with Parros, who is out of his fighting class. Asham seemed on his toes where Parros was more relaxed, that's why Im giving the slight edge to big George.

Posted by jsj40 on April 24, 2013 at 07:16 AM

Not much of a fight but clearly Parros

Posted by kleptothief on April 24, 2013 at 08:59 AM

props for him to go up with porn stache! middle weight vs super heavy weight, , Assham got licked imo, he did land a couple but clearly oversized/overmatched

Posted by chad420 on April 25, 2013 at 11:27 AM

win Ron Jeremy

Posted by kimo_coyote on April 24, 2013 at 07:26 PM

I do like Asham but a "draw is a draw" they don't give points for like or dislike or smaller vs bigger guy. DRAW.

Posted by hokaheyhockey on April 23, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Ash landed some good rights and wasn't intimidated for 1 sec by a guy whose 6 inches taller than him and carries at least 25 pounds more. Parros yapped but didn't deliver.

Posted by zoyboy on April 26, 2013 at 06:24 PM

nothing much

Posted by kkdowning on April 25, 2013 at 05:24 PM

Asham deserves respect for stepping right up to Parros. However, Parros controlled the fight and gets the slight edge.

Posted by MeatPlow on April 24, 2013 at 08:56 PM

Asham is awesom, and so is George. I think Asham was wondering why Parros wanted some but he answered the bell. i felt parros got in good body shots. i went draw, dont be hurtful with me. I was bummed when Philly did not re-sign Asham

Posted by Bsfan1013 on April 25, 2013 at 05:05 AM

Win Parros

Posted by Noledad77 on April 24, 2013 at 12:47 PM

Ned Flanders gets the win. Asham was in over his head a little bit. He might "not back down from anyone" but might want to think twice about scrapping with Ned Flan-diddly-anders again.

Posted by Otto_maddux on April 24, 2013 at 04:57 PM

oh gee, who is gonna win the popular vote (despite the facts) in a fight between new york's guy and everyone from new york's retirement destination's guy? Might as well ask who won between a canadian and a guy from the lightning. never gonna get an honest assessment from the north. win to the violent gentleman.

Posted by jzicko24 on April 27, 2013 at 03:17 PM

asham p4p is a better fighter, but dont let these rangers announcers convinve you....le grand stache def got the better of asham in this one

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on April 25, 2013 at 11:24 PM

5 and a draw. Asham was busier, but neither fighter was truly dominant.

Posted by Bob Probert 24 on April 25, 2013 at 07:20 AM

more yapping instead of pounding. I was expecting more from this tilt.

Posted by SouthPaw017 on April 23, 2013 at 11:55 PM

You have to expect more from Parros here, with the simple size advantage... Asham doesn't back down, hangs in, but ultimately on both sides, there was more talking than landing... Clear draw.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on April 25, 2013 at 01:36 AM

Asham held his own there against the bigger Parros, I'm going draw.

Posted by kitcarnut on April 25, 2013 at 12:45 AM

Asham ! = Balls

Posted by wehmo14 on April 24, 2013 at 07:56 AM

Middle weight vs a heavy weight. Gotta give it to Asham for challenging an enforcer in a higher weight class.

Posted by Toughguy83 on April 24, 2013 at 12:39 AM

Fla is a good fit for parros bunch of bums

Posted by Oswegofightfan on April 24, 2013 at 12:57 PM

Asham landed a couple more n the cleaner shots.

Posted by perezj on April 24, 2013 at 07:35 AM

Ashram is a beast, pound for pound one of the best.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on April 23, 2013 at 09:42 PM

...nice try by Asham but he was clearly in-over his head -- Big George wins it,....

Posted by Snoka on April 24, 2013 at 10:17 AM

Asham spent most of the time trying to hang on for dear life. Win for the Porn Stash.

Posted by Behn Wilson on April 23, 2013 at 09:26 PM

Magnum with a slight edge but closer to a draw if you take weight class into consideration (which we don't) Nonetheless great intensity and good hard shots landed by each guy as the ever fearless Asham stands his ground against a legit heavy with both displaying chins of granite

Posted by shearer2 on April 23, 2013 at 09:19 PM

Win Asham - half the size and two lovely rights. Parros should be ashamed.
