Funniest part about the ending to this game is that the Sharks have been running the Blues goalies and skilled players all series with cheap shots, and now that they got destroyed when it came time to actually fight, they want to whine after the game about it. I think it definitely means you lost the fight when the other guy is standing over you at the end with his fist cocked, and decides that your not worth punching again.

Posted by kkdowning on April 15, 2012 at 09:28 AM

When your own announcers says that the other guys shows you mercy, you lost the fight

Posted by albertjrich on April 15, 2012 at 01:37 PM

Total domination! But cheap of Sobotka to punch Moore on the ice.

Posted by ChakoSah on April 15, 2012 at 09:29 AM

Always a good day when Moore gets his... always like Sobotka, even before my B's traded him. Classy of Sobotka to let Moore off the hook, too. The code is alive.

You guys are dopes. You don't get credit for not cheap-shotting a guy a second time. You are supposed to stop punching when the guy goes down. You don't get credit for doing what you are supposed to do. Sobotka did this before against the Penguins. Just check out this link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flEagLeb0Hk What a pussy.

quick fight, take down one punch, done. Bad night for the Sharks on the scoreboard and in the fistifcuff dept.

Posted by Detroit_Caps on April 16, 2012 at 06:48 AM

Both of the Sharks ought to be embarrassed by this. Im fairly comfortable picking the Blues in this series if thats all The Sharks can show

Posted by slainte12 on April 18, 2012 at 02:45 PM

Wow, Sobotka easy, but then the Blues player won each additional matchup as well. I'm a B's fan who really liked Sobotka when he was in Boston. Like to catch up and see what he's been up to once in while...apparently that is dropping Sharks!

Posted by methuselah on April 15, 2012 at 02:43 AM

sobotka is going to need a window in his chest to see how far his head has been shoved up his *** after that cheap shot in the end.

Posted by SharkTank19 on February 13, 2013 at 08:41 PM

Sobotka cheap shit when Moore is clearly down. Sobotka clear winner but a bitch.

Sobotka

Posted by MuzikJunkie on April 16, 2012 at 01:06 AM

Personally Moore is a good player, and from the half second of footage it looks like he was just tackled. He's not bad in fights, but this was weak for anyone. Kudos to Sobotka for sportsmanship.

Posted by TheChimp on April 15, 2012 at 12:08 AM

Moore shouldn't fight.

Posted by wzc32798 on April 15, 2012 at 06:51 PM

im suprised sobotka didnt drill him a couple times for good measure

Posted by Dammit-Man on April 15, 2012 at 01:15 PM

I Never Knew "Vlad the Impaler" had it in Him lol Serious Beat down from what they showed, Nice little Bitch Slap at the end as well

Posted by GreatMurray on April 15, 2012 at 07:00 AM

Moore gets man-handled by a Russian non-fighter. Yikes.

Posted by ISYSpanther on April 15, 2012 at 05:08 PM

The problem with these "multi-fights" is that you can never watch a single fight throughout its entirety. You only receive small snippets. Giving Sobotka the win because he seemed to honor the code. Perfect position to destroy Moore while Moore was on his back. Chose not to. Not many other fights this post-season have gone that way.

Posted by dredzo on April 15, 2012 at 01:12 AM

A draw? Really? Sobotka nearly lifted Moore up and pile-drove him into the ice. He could have destroyed him, but held off, except for that little squibber at the end.

win sobotka

Posted by billy jack on April 16, 2012 at 02:36 AM

the moore brothers must of got beaten up by their sisters.did they play college hockey or what.sabotka, yes little sabotka broke moores nose, and jose traded for this clown and let go eager and maginn.enough said.ps i saw the live feed, sabotka did sucker him on the punch that broke moores nose but moore should of maybe expected a fight, ask his brother.

Posted by staceyb on April 15, 2012 at 08:01 AM

Less of Moore, who should remember Sobotka in his prayers for not slugging him when he was down on the ice.

Posted by bruins rule on April 15, 2012 at 10:36 AM

sobotka gets the win in this fight.

Posted by mudman55 on April 15, 2012 at 05:47 AM

Sobotka. Well, I think, we only saw 3 seconds of this one.

Posted by kingpintoo on April 15, 2012 at 11:17 AM

Vlad, I vaunt to suck you Bloooood. Moore's a pussy..............cat.

Posted by pjbaeske on April 15, 2012 at 11:40 AM

from my view (on the glass) this wasn't even close. Moore did not get what he deserved, after some of the shots he had pulled in game 1, Sobotka showed him mercy and should not have.

Posted by Steaks09 on April 15, 2012 at 11:40 AM

MCClellan needs to keep his mouth shut. When you have a 6'5" candy as* named Burns throwing elbows and players targeting heads teams are going to stick up for each other. Moore threw the first glove punch and Sobotka let him have it. Moore was running his mouth all game and got separated with the wrong guy.

Posted by Soulja183 on April 16, 2012 at 02:44 PM

Watch the trip on the faceoff-Moore went down on his own. Sobotka's hands/arms were at his sides, his legs and arms never moved. Moore went down on his own. Draw? You call a draw when the ref breaks it up and no one is bleeding. Moore went down after throwing a few of his own punches. He was trying to take advantage of Sobotka, thinking he wouldn't fight. The "sucker punch" came when Sobotka had been his several times and got fed up. He dropped his gloves and landed one or two.

Posted by rayh52 on April 15, 2012 at 02:48 AM

The Sharks are calling this a sucker punch. Well, they ought to be thanking Sobotka for having mercy on their sucker.

Posted by Kenney21 on August 26, 2012 at 12:13 PM

Win Sobotka.

Posted by Bluetiedown44 on April 16, 2012 at 01:25 AM

One shot scrap, what did Moore think Sobotka would do? I did not see a sucker punch, but I did see Sobotka the Slavic Scrapper towering over a outmuscled Moore. I am surprised by the complaining of McClellan and Sharks fans. Come on Sharks, You knew there was bad blood from the earlier Thornton-Perron hit, then you have Galliardi leaving his feet, the hit on Nichol, Shakespeare "If you prick us do we not bleed, ... if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?"

Posted by hockeyfight101 on April 15, 2012 at 12:18 AM

sobotka won easily, but not a huge fight but sharks just didnt have it in them in the fight department

Posted by KnightsofStJohn on April 15, 2012 at 04:57 PM

Sobodka killed Moore, and Moore needed it

Posted by bigbearlyke on April 16, 2012 at 01:09 PM

Terrible video of the fight. If you can find the Blues local broadcast on Fox Sports Midwest put that up instead. You actually get to see several punches long before Sobotka body slams Moore. You also actually get to see more clearly how nasty the body slam was. Having seen the full fight it wasn't even close. Moore got absolutely destroyed.

Posted by ctg77 on April 15, 2012 at 01:36 AM

For Todd McClellan, here's a lesson for you: If your bunch of thugs like Burns and Galiardi want to take head shots, don't whine when the 2nd littlest player on either team beats the ever loving crap out of one of your jackass players who's been running the Blues' goalies both games so far. Moore got what he deserved and got his nose knocked in.

Posted by tblumberg12 on April 16, 2012 at 06:03 PM

who wins the fight? sobotka. who wins the battle of being the biggest cheap-shot p**sy? sobotka. hope winchester or clowe teaches him how to fight tonight. total bitch move!

Posted by OSWH4L33T on April 16, 2012 at 02:14 AM

FSMW had this fight shown, and Sobotka got quite a few punches in on Moore, before the takedown and mercy. 2-0 for the little guys in this game.

Posted by mr hockey on April 15, 2012 at 01:37 AM

two pussy cheap shot teams

Posted by fenians79 on April 16, 2012 at 12:25 PM

Not much to see...good playoff scrum...

Posted by Bribeeck813 on April 15, 2012 at 12:14 AM

Only tail end of this scrum... Moore with no balance.

Posted by JMosier11 on April 15, 2012 at 12:21 AM

If you're going to start a fight after a clean (necessary or not) hit, be prepared to get hit while on the ice. Sabotka.

Posted by chad420 on April 18, 2012 at 11:17 AM

win Vlad The Impaler

Posted by nait on April 16, 2012 at 08:30 PM

what the hell is this crap about hitting a guy when hes on the ice?

Posted by The Mad House on April 15, 2012 at 08:59 AM

A classless move by Sobotka to trip Moore off the face off, but a classy one at the end to not keep throwing punches at Moore. Nothing here, win Sobotka I guess. Playoff hockey, I love it!

Posted by hockeyboy10106 on April 15, 2012 at 12:05 AM

Sobotka is a smaller player but i like seeing some fight in the littleguy sobotka with the takedown i give it a draw

Posted by battleshipfan on April 15, 2012 at 01:36 AM

shouldnt have broke this up! sobotka should have kept beating this little punk
