I can totally picture Zenon Konopka in the morning, sitting at his kitchen table in pajama pants and a t-shirt that reads "I Love Saturdays", eating a bowl of Lucky Charms, reading the spots section. He sees his name and his stats of 34 PIM in 4 G. He then finds it difficult to try and contain his erection.

neither fighter impresses

The Zac attack always keeps it close. He tries bull rushing Zeno to no avail. Zeno is clearly po'ed at the end with not being able to land anything, saying to the Zebs, "Oh man I had him" after Zac slipped at the end. Yes, the Zebs will learn that the Zac attack wants to keep going. The Zac attack may learn not to keep going, the hard way.

Voted draw. Would give an edge to Rinaldo if I had to give one though. The Flyers feed had a better view and Rinaldo had a nice little flurry in the middle that culminated in him landing a nice uppercut.

zzzzzz zzzzz zzzzz zzzzz zzzz zzzzzzz wow Rinaldo you can't beat Konopka wtf dude. He is the worst fighter in the league. Wow sad sad fight. I called it a draw I just don't even want to see that i gave Konopka a win. this fight will haunt me in me dreams.

Not many punches thrown. Going with a Draw.

Good even tilt. Draw.

Down 4-0 (the score should have been 8-0) at the end of the first period Konopka decided it was time to wake up his teammates. He might have thought the smaller Rinaldo was a pushover but that was not the case.

gave this a draw.

calling it a draw but the slightest of edge to Rinaldo

Posted by ETHREE on October 19, 2011 at 07:32 AM

Zac Rinaldo= 5'11 170 lbs. Zenon Konopka= 6'1 215 lbs. With that being said, I think Rinaldo is one of the gutsiest players in the league today. Decent fight, I'm gonna say draw maybe an edge to Rinaldo.

okay rinaldo might not look too good here but the kid is an exciting scrapper, he is at his best when the arms arent tied down and its an open fight unlike it was here and konopka had a great grip in this fight if rinaldo stays in the lineup, expect some entertaining fights where he just throws righs like crazy watch his fight with dale weise in preseason this year and for the fight, draw 5

One obvious sign that the frustration level in Ottawa is building, is that, even, ''Poptarts'' himself... has been forced to start showing signs of 'actual fighting technique', this early in the season..

I'm assuming more happened in front of the official than Rinaldo merely losing an edge so edge Konopka.

Who wrote draw? Konopka Dropped his ass at the end of that fight.

Rinaldo gets his tail handed to him AGAIN!!!!

If air punches counted, then I would with Christian Rinaldo. But Konopka landed REAL punches. So edge to Konopka. Philly, teach this guy to play hockey and let Shelley have his job back.

Close tilt with zonopka getting the green light here!

Posted by kinga101 on January 08, 2012 at 09:36 PM

Slight edge to Konopka.

Posted by RobDiablo on February 06, 2013 at 12:41 PM

Konopka was just the more experienced fighter.

Posted by RickNettles on January 09, 2012 at 02:50 PM

I don't think Konopka knew quite how to connect with the smaller Rinaldo.

Posted by atflyers on February 06, 2012 at 05:37 PM

Rinaldo's willingness to go is always inspiring. Slight edge to Zac.

Good scrap . Draw.

Who'da thunk Zenon and Zac woulda grown up to be fighters?

Posted by tonetone1 on October 18, 2011 at 11:15 PM

Rinaldo landed bigger punches

...the wrestler against a guy who can't stand-up,......I knew it was a mistake watching another Konopka match,.....

Posted by 25Pens45 on October 19, 2011 at 04:02 PM

Poop. Konopka is the only player in all of hockey that drops his gloves and I get up and go find something else to do for a few minutes. What a waste of 5 minute majors.

Posted by JeanLaValette on October 19, 2011 at 05:59 AM

couldn't see much, but it doesn't look like I missed anything...another 2 minutes of my life i won't get back...thanks again Konopka

Posted by samtheman on October 18, 2011 at 11:39 PM

Damn linesman was blocking my view of most of the punches...

Posted by muskokadangler on October 19, 2011 at 11:36 PM

Ok fight to a draw

Posted by kkdowning on October 21, 2011 at 11:04 PM

hmm, at least Konopka tried this time

Posted by travist on October 18, 2011 at 11:00 PM

giving it to big Z for his "AW COME ON!" when the linesmen jumped in...other than that not much landing.

Posted by Spazemunky on October 19, 2011 at 12:59 AM

Edge to Big Z. Rinaldo kinda reminds me of Mike Haley.

Posted by cji1065 on October 18, 2011 at 09:45 PM

look like it was going to get good til Konopka wrestle Rinaldo down.
