Cam Janssen fights Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond. AP Photo/Rich Schultz

Cam Janssen and Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond were tireless Saturday night, trading punches back and forth in one of the longest fights in NHL history.  It went back and forth, one punch at a time for two and a half minutes.

It reminded me of two Marty McSorley fights: the heavy-action all-time classic against Bob Probert and a tiring bout with Louie Debrusk.  Despite that, Janssen vs PL3 made me think that’s what it would have looked like had Darren Langdon been able to fight himself.

After a quiet Friday and Saturday, Sunday was busy.  Three games had multiple fights, with the highlights being Chris Stewart handling Troy Bodie easily and a good lightweight matchup between Mike Comrie and Scott Nichol.
