No Hair, No Problem

George Parros is sporting a new look, but it hasn’t changed his game any.  This past weekend Parros donated his long hair to Cut for Kids.  No Samson effect here, Parros came out as strong as ever against Rob Davison in a hard-hitting game against the Sharks last night.  The Stache still has a full head of hair, but that sigh of relief you hear is from me and everyone else who shares Ken Daneyko‘s haircut.

That number looks familiar

Bob Probert is going to have a cameo in Mike Myers new movie, and he had an interesting jersey waiting for him:

But Probert was shocked when he showed up for his shoot and was handed a No. 28 sweater to wear in the movie, which has been filming in Toronto.

That was Tie Domi‘s number, his dance partner during some of the most memorable fights in NHL history.

“I thought they were messing with my mind,” Probert told the Windsor Star.

Boogaard out for another week

The Star Tribune is reporting Derek Boogaard will be out until at least Christmas.

Tough swap

The Blackhawks have traded Jim Vandermeer to the Flyers for Ben Eager.
