| Nice even squareoff. They wait and Godard goes in. They grab and have each other locked out. Godard jersey-punches with the left, and then throws a right hand. They exchange rights, but Godards are more effective. He then switches to left, Peters goes down (slip), gets back up and it's a good, long bout. Both guys land, but Godard lands more until they finally tire out and hug till the linesmen come in. | ||||

Scatchard lays some nice punches on him, one square on the nose. Mair's trying to balance himself off and fire some shots back when Scatchard lands a couple more, one sending him down, TKO. Other Penalties: Scatchard received an instigator and misconduct.

| Oct 11, 2003 | 3pd 13:46 | Andrew Peters | NYI | Eric Cairns |
| Long squareoff. They finally grab a hold of each other and they're trying to get the arms free. Cairns wants to throw big rights, while Peters is throwing short jabs. Cairns can't get much going, while Peters is getting his jabs in. It's more apparent when Peters gets Cairns up against the boards and pinned while landing some more jabs. Cairns finally gets off the boards, throws a couple that miss, goes to wind up and Peters falls, bringing Eric down with him. Cairns throws a shot while down. | ||||

McKee throws a bunch of rights at a ducking Ott, most of them landing to the helmet and side of the head. Ott tried to throw a few, but nothing came of it, and they go down.

They square off again. Laraque grabs at Peters' collar, but misses. He then grabs at his collar again, and Peters is now ducking his head. Laraque rips Peters' helmet off and throws 4-5 quick left hands to the top of Peters' head. Peters goes to his knees and Laraque holds back. Peters waits for the linesmen to get in before he gets up off the ice.

| Oct 23, 2003 | 1pd 16:22 | Rory Fitzpatrick | @LOS | Ian Laperriere |
| They each get two for roughing and decide to go right after they get out of the box. Lots of grappling as Lapperriere was trying to get his elbow pad off. He gets free, lands some shots, mostly to the back of the head, some to the face and he also landed a body shot. Fitzpatrick was tied up most of the time and couldn't get in much. | ||||

| Murray and Ruff put the tough guys out there right after the Lappy-Fitzpatrick scrap. They aren't on the same sides of the ice, but drop them and throw off the helmets. They squareoff around center ice for a good period of time. They come in and Brennan pops Peters with a shot and Peters comes back. They get in close and throw some serious haymakers. Lots of punches thrown and landed by both. Peters put Brennan down to a knee twice during the fight and Brennan was bloody afterwards. He had cut next to his right eye that needed four stitches. | ||||

| Oct 28, 2003 | 1pd 05:09 | Andrew Peters | MIN | Matt Johnson |
| After some talking, these guys decide to drop them right by the penalty box. Lengthy squareoff and they finally grab on to each other. Johnson throws a right, either missing or hitting the back of the helmet. Peters throws his own right to the helmet. Johnson tries to follow up with his own right, but it looks like Peters might have landed a decent right. A few rights to the side of the head and helmet by Peters, and Johnson loses his balance, but gets back up. Peters throws about four or five more to the back of the head. He throws an uppercut that might have landed and another to the back of the head. Johnson loses his helmet and Peters gets a right to the side of the head. Johnson rips off the helmet, finally trying to get something going, but Peters slams him into the boards and takes him down. Peters later has an ice bag on his hand. | ||||

| Peters and Perrott collide by the box and get the lumber up. Camera gets there late, and it seems Perrott got the jump on Peters. Perrott is hammering away with the left hand, Peters is trying to throw rights back, but Perrott is landing more and better shots. Peters goes down, not sure if it was balance or punches. Perrott keeps on throwing lefts as Peters tries to get up. The linesmen come in and Peters is livid. | ||||

| Nov 05, 2003 | 1pd 08:28 | Andrew Peters | ATL | Francis Lessard |
| Lessard and Peters meet at the face off and talk. Lessard drops the gloves first and throws a few rights. The lock for a moment and the start chucking. Toe to toe, Peters with the rights, Lessard with the lefts. The first few from Peters looked like they landed well, but both just continue throwing. They lock up again, go to break away and start throwing some more, but after a couple of throws Lessard loses his balance and falls. Lessard skates away with some marks and a little blood right outside his left eye towards his temple. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2003 | 1pd 03:13 | Eric Boulton | MON | Darren Langdon |
| They drop the gloves shortly after the faceoff in the circle to the left of Noronen. They lock up immediately. Boulton is trying to get his arm free and tries to throw a right, but it doesn't land. Langdon tries a right uppercut. Boulton tries to throw about four rights, but Langdon has a good hold of the right sleeve. A few short nothing rights by both, and more wrestling. Boulton lands one to the side of the head, a second comes up short. Langdon sneaks a decent right in. They both throw and possibly land right uppercuts. Langdon lands a few rights to the side of the head. Boulton with a right that hits shoulder. They both throw uppercuts again, Boulton didn't really land his. Langdon lands a right as Boulton throws some more that end up short. A bit more wrestling, and Boulton throws three rights to the body. Looks like they're starting to tire out. Langdon grazes a right. Another right to the side of the head. A right by Langdon lands, and then he switches up and lands a nice left as Boulton misses a right. Right to the body by Langdon, right by Boulton doesn't get there. Langdon responds with a right to the side of the head and helmet. Boulton's right, once again, ends up short. Langdon hits helmet with another right. Right by Langdon, right by Boulton hits shoulder. Boulton appears to be finished, turning his head. Langdon continues to throw rights, but they're not damaging. Boulton lands a weak right and has the right hand cocked, but the linesmen finally step in. Longest fight this year (even longer then Langdon's bout with McCarthy), but pretty uneventful with not a whole lot of damaging punches thrown. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2003 | 2pd 18:54 | Ales Kotalik | MON | Francis Bouillon |
| They start mixing it up and Bouillon just drops the gloves and throws two rights at Kotalik, who pushes Bouillon's helmet off, but keeps the gloves on. Kotalik tries to throw a big gloved right, but misses. Kotalik eventually drops one glove. He obviously doesn't want to go and has no idea what to do. Bouillon throws some more rights and Kotalik just tries to fend him off, throwing a few slap-style rights (the left glove stayed on). Kotalik breaks free of Bouillon and the linesman stops Bouillon from going after him again. Kotalik appears to have a shiner under his left eye. | ||||

Peters looks like he might turtle to draw a penalty, but then drops them and throws a right back. Peters throws two more that hit helmet. Langdon tries a right, it falls short. A right by Peters hits the side of the head, and he lands a decent right. Peters misses two more rights. A Langdon right grazes the side of the helmet. Short right by Langdon hits helmet. An uppercut by Peters hits Langdon's chest. Another helmet shot by Langdon. Peters throws two more rights to the helmet. Peters misses or may have grazed another right after some wrestling. They wrestle some more as the crowd starts booing. Langdon gets a short left and Peters tries to throw a right back and that sends him off-balance and he goes down. Pretty lengthy bout, Boulton-Langdon was longer.

Looked good, but not damaging. The linesmen jump in before Mair can straighten up, and Mair tried to throw a right as they came in. Mair isn't too happy.

| Off the faceoff they agree to go. Nice squareoff, Bouloton tries to grab on, but Stevenson gets his hand out of his jersey, so they squareoff some more, then grab on. Boulton has his left hand wrapped around Stevenson's neck and they are trading rights to the back and side of each other's helmets while spinning around. Boulton then throws Stevenson to the ice. | ||||

Three rights by Boulton hit the side of the head and he takes a knee, but jumps back up. Boulton's helmet is dislodged as Neil throws a few rights. They each throw a right that comes up short. They wrestle and Neil tries to switch to the left, but nothing much there, as Boulton slips again. Neil throws a left and grazes another one on Boulton's face, as Boulton returns fire with a hard right hand. He misses two more and Neil nails him with a right uppercut. A right uppercut by Boulton doesn't connect. Neil tosses his helmet off for whatever reason and Boulton appears a bit confused. Neil throws two uppercuts, but they looked pretty weak, and a noogie to the back of the head. Neil lands a left as Boulton throws a right and Neil slips. Boulton starts chucking lefts as Neil is on the ice, and its over.

They just wrestle, and Zhitnik's jersey appears to come up. They fall over and Langenbrunner might have thrown a few when they were down. Other Penalties: Zhitnik received a cross checking; Langenbrunner an instigator and misconduct.

| Feb 28, 2004 | 3pd 18:41 | Andrew Peters | @OTT | Rob Ray |
| Ray exits the box after a minor penalty and goes right for Peters and they drop the gloves. No square off, Ray starts out throwing three to four rights to the helmet and side of the head. Peters throws back, and they exchange some rights back and forth, mostly to the helmet. Ray landed a hard right to the back of the helmet that put Peters off-balance. More exchanging, they get in-close. Ray smiles and winks to the linesmen. Shortly after, they jump in and it's over. | ||||

Boulton misses a right, falls over, and Domi throws a bunch of lefts to the back of the head as he tries to get up. The linesmen jump in and Boulton tries to get at him again, but is held off. | Drake takes out Zhitnik with a blind sided hit. Alexei went to the locker room and hasn't returned. Drake also scored the only goal of the game at this point. They go right off a faceoff with Mair landing two or three good lefts. Drake is off-balance a bit, steadies himself and throws one good right. Mair comes back with three to four big lefts before the linesmen come in.

| Mar 07, 2004 | 3pd 15:58 | Eric Boulton | STL | Reed Low |
| Low is on top of Boulton who is practically on the ice as this starts. Despite this advantageous start for Low, Boulton rights himself and these go on a tilt-O-whirl round-house free-for-all. They must do about three or four complete 360s during the course of a brief, but spirited scrap. Both are throwing hard punches with varying degrees of success. Both are losing their jerseys when Low again ends up on top on Boulton. Low challenges Buffalo bench on his way to the box. Other Penalties: Boulton received a game misconduct. | ||||

| Mar 10, 2004 | 1pd 04:43 | Brad Brown | @WAS | Rick Berry |
| Doesn’t take Brown long to get into his first fight as a Sabre. He and Berry joust behind the play. They drop the gloves and grab on. Brown throws a right, then they separate and square off. They come together and Brown fires rights at Berry, who’s ducking to avoid them. He straightens up and they go toe to toe with rights, each landing some nice ones. Brown lands a heavy right to the side of the head and Berry decides to take it in-close. He lifts Brown’s jersey in front of his face (tearing it) and throws a right or two as the linesemen jump in. | ||||

| Mar 11, 2004 | 1pd 06:05 | Andrew Peters | BOS | Doug Doull |
| They square off behind the play. Doull lands an early punch that sends the helmet of Peters flying. They each exchange and land good rights, with Peters in more control at times, throwing jabs (not as much damaging as they are annoying) to the side of Doull's face as he waits out flurries to get an opportunity to throw punches back. He pops up with hard punches and Peters has balance issues at time. Peters briefly switched to the left and also got in some good right uppercuts. Fight ends when Doull gets hunched over and the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Mar 11, 2004 | 2pd 06:50 | Adam Mair | BOS | Hal Gill |
| Mair and Gill collide, Gills get the stick up. Mair gives him a gloved shot, challenges him, and Gill obliges. Mair throws a left as they spin, and Gill has his right free, but awkwardly doesn't throw. Mair ducks a right and tags him with a big left, the one that probably opened up the cut on Gill's cheek. A few more lefts, and Gill finally decides to do something and use his reach, throwing a flurry of rights. Mair gets a good laugh out of that, and they go down with Gill on top. Other Penalties: Gill received a high sticking. | ||||

| Mar 13, 2004 | 1pd 01:07 | Dmitri Kalinin | @BOS | Nick Boynton |
| Boynton throws a huge check on Kalinin against the boards putting him to the ice. Kalinin gets up and goes for Boynton, they drop the gloves and start chuckin, Kalinin with the overhand right and Boynton with the right uppercut. They both land a couple then tie each other up pretty well. Boynton has Kalinin in a tough spot and lands about four good uppercuts. Kalinin will not be deterred and starts firing the right with his head down, landing some good ones as Boynton is still throwing the uppercuts, also landing. Boynton switches to the left and lands a nice uppercut then switches back to the right landing another uppercut. Kalinin was bleeding from the bridge of the nose and went to the room for repairs. Other Penalties: Chris Drury received a high sticking. | ||||

| This happens immediately off the faceoff right after Peters-Brennan. Lessard might have gotten a quick jump, but no instigator here. They get in tight and spin a little. Some lefts by both. Boulton landed one in tight, but then Lessard swung him around by the boards and got him with a left for the knockdown. | ||||

| Big scrum, as Brown throws Kovalchuk down in front of the net at the end of the play. Bartovic punches Kovalchuk right in the face. Kovalchuk goes nuts and jumps onto his back, hammering him with gloved punches. Somewhere in there, Mair and Majesky pair off. Neither party seems too interested. Mair throws a left, Majesky a right or two. Mair gets thrown down, but they're allowed to get up and continue. Mostly more grappling, a right thrown by Majesky, then Mair lands a big left, and that's pretty much it. Other Penalties: Randy Robitaille received a goaltender interference; Milan Bartovic a cross checking; Ilya Kovalchuk a roughing and high sticking. | ||||

They grapple, and Petro starts firing rights and overwhelms Jillson, who begins to drop his head. Jillson pops up and lands a right. A few more rights from Petrovicky, and it's mostly hugging now. Jillson gets one more uppercut in and it's broken up. Other Penalties: Petrovicky received a clipping; Jillson an instigator and misconduct; Thrashers receive a too many men on the ice penalty.

| A big scrum ensues at the end of the period. Afinogenov and Taylor grapple behind the net. The camera moves to other players, and when it comes back, the gloves are off. Taylor has Afinogenov shoved up against the net. Afinogenov throws a right that doesn't land and that carries him off balance and they go down. Easily could have been double roughing minors. Other Penalties: Afinogenov, Taylor and J.P. Dumont each received a roughing. | ||||

| Sarich punched Briere in the face earlier in the game, setting a bit of a nasty tone. Mair gets crushed by Sarich, and Peters goes after him. They drop the gloves and grab on. Peters lands a right early. Another one hits helmet, another hits under the armpit. Another attempt is blocked by Sarich. Peters tries to get the right free and misses with a poke. A right by Sarich ends up falling short. More grappling, a short right by Peters doesn’t land. Peters struggles to get his arm free, Sarich is doing a good job tying him up. A right by Peters doesn’t land, but sends Sarich off-balance a bit. He responds with a right that misses. He tries an uppercut, which also doesn’t land. A couple of attempted rights by Peters are blocked. Rights by each man don’t go anywhere. A right by Sarich misses. Peters taps Sarich with an uppercut. Peters lands a decent right. An uppercut by Sarich just misses. Peters grazes a right, Sarich misses with a response. Peters lands a right that looks to sting Sarich a bit and he buries his head. | These guys drop the gloves in the neutral zone and start to swing away. Mair with lefts, Bradley with rights. Mair lands a few lefts, including a really solid shot and Bradley lands a few big rights. They fall and get back up, and it looks like Mair starts to take over at the end and lands a big left that pops Bradley's helmet off and bends him over. Bouillon lands a punch, misses another one. Drury is bent over, loses his helmet and they wrestle as the linesmen jump in pretty quickly. Drury nails him with a shot as the officials pry them apart, and this raises the ire of Bouillon, who throws a few and tries to get back at him once apart. Lengthy scrap, with Quintal not seeming incredibly interested. Peters got in an early flurry of rights before Quintal tied him up. Quintal threw an occasional punch and they traded back and forth for a while with no damage. Other Penalties: Peters received a misconduct; Mike Ribeiro and Eric Boulton each received a slashing. | ||||
