Nice even squareoff. They wait and Godard goes in. They grab and have each other locked out. Godard jersey-punches with the left, and then throws a right hand. They exchange rights, but Godards are more effective. He then switches to left, Peters goes down (slip), gets back up and it's a good, long bout. Both guys land, but Godard lands more until they finally tire out and hug till the linesmen come in.

Mair lays a big hit on Jason Blake. Scatchard comes in immediately and drops the gloves. Mair seems to drop his quickly too (hard to tell, camera a split second too late). Scatchard lays some nice punches on him, one square on the nose. Mair's trying to balance himself off and fire some shots back when Scatchard lands a couple more, one sending him down, TKO. Other Penalties: Scatchard received an instigator and misconduct.

Long squareoff. They finally grab a hold of each other and they're trying to get the arms free. Cairns wants to throw big rights, while Peters is throwing short jabs. Cairns can't get much going, while Peters is getting his jabs in. It's more apparent when Peters gets Cairns up against the boards and pinned while landing some more jabs. Cairns finally gets off the boards, throws a couple that miss, goes to wind up and Peters falls, bringing Eric down with him. Cairns throws a shot while down.

Ott collides with McKee at the boards and gives him a face wash. McKee didn't like that, some shoving, and the gloves come off. McKee throws a bunch of rights at a ducking Ott, most of them landing to the helmet and side of the head. Ott tried to throw a few, but nothing came of it, and they go down.

They find each other off the draw and agree to drop the gloves. They squareoff, and Peters grabs a hold of Laraque's right arm. Laraque throws a big left, which misses, and shakes free. They square off again. Laraque grabs at Peters' collar, but misses. He then grabs at his collar again, and Peters is now ducking his head. Laraque rips Peters' helmet off and throws 4-5 quick left hands to the top of Peters' head. Peters goes to his knees and Laraque holds back. Peters waits for the linesmen to get in before he gets up off the ice.

They each get two for roughing and decide to go right after they get out of the box. Lots of grappling as Lapperriere was trying to get his elbow pad off. He gets free, lands some shots, mostly to the back of the head, some to the face and he also landed a body shot. Fitzpatrick was tied up most of the time and couldn't get in much.

Murray and Ruff put the tough guys out there right after the Lappy-Fitzpatrick scrap. They aren't on the same sides of the ice, but drop them and throw off the helmets. They squareoff around center ice for a good period of time. They come in and Brennan pops Peters with a shot and Peters comes back. They get in close and throw some serious haymakers. Lots of punches thrown and landed by both. Peters put Brennan down to a knee twice during the fight and Brennan was bloody afterwards. He had cut next to his right eye that needed four stitches.

After some talking, these guys decide to drop them right by the penalty box. Lengthy squareoff and they finally grab on to each other. Johnson throws a right, either missing or hitting the back of the helmet. Peters throws his own right to the helmet. Johnson tries to follow up with his own right, but it looks like Peters might have landed a decent right. A few rights to the side of the head and helmet by Peters, and Johnson loses his balance, but gets back up. Peters throws about four or five more to the back of the head. He throws an uppercut that might have landed and another to the back of the head. Johnson loses his helmet and Peters gets a right to the side of the head. Johnson rips off the helmet, finally trying to get something going, but Peters slams him into the boards and takes him down. Peters later has an ice bag on his hand.

Peters and Perrott collide by the box and get the lumber up. Camera gets there late, and it seems Perrott got the jump on Peters. Perrott is hammering away with the left hand, Peters is trying to throw rights back, but Perrott is landing more and better shots. Peters goes down, not sure if it was balance or punches. Perrott keeps on throwing lefts as Peters tries to get up. The linesmen come in and Peters is livid.

Lessard and Peters meet at the face off and talk. Lessard drops the gloves first and throws a few rights. The lock for a moment and the start chucking. Toe to toe, Peters with the rights, Lessard with the lefts. The first few from Peters looked like they landed well, but both just continue throwing. They lock up again, go to break away and start throwing some more, but after a couple of throws Lessard loses his balance and falls. Lessard skates away with some marks and a little blood right outside his left eye towards his temple.

They drop the gloves shortly after the faceoff in the circle to the left of Noronen. They lock up immediately. Boulton is trying to get his arm free and tries to throw a right, but it doesn't land. Langdon tries a right uppercut. Boulton tries to throw about four rights, but Langdon has a good hold of the right sleeve. A few short nothing rights by both, and more wrestling. Boulton lands one to the side of the head, a second comes up short. Langdon sneaks a decent right in. They both throw and possibly land right uppercuts. Langdon lands a few rights to the side of the head. Boulton with a right that hits shoulder. They both throw uppercuts again, Boulton didn't really land his. Langdon lands a right as Boulton throws some more that end up short. A bit more wrestling, and Boulton throws three rights to the body. Looks like they're starting to tire out. Langdon grazes a right. Another right to the side of the head. A right by Langdon lands, and then he switches up and lands a nice left as Boulton misses a right. Right to the body by Langdon, right by Boulton doesn't get there. Langdon responds with a right to the side of the head and helmet. Boulton's right, once again, ends up short. Langdon hits helmet with another right. Right by Langdon, right by Boulton hits shoulder. Boulton appears to be finished, turning his head. Langdon continues to throw rights, but they're not damaging. Boulton lands a weak right and has the right hand cocked, but the linesmen finally step in. Longest fight this year (even longer then Langdon's bout with McCarthy), but pretty uneventful with not a whole lot of damaging punches thrown.

They start mixing it up and Bouillon just drops the gloves and throws two rights at Kotalik, who pushes Bouillon's helmet off, but keeps the gloves on. Kotalik tries to throw a big gloved right, but misses. Kotalik eventually drops one glove. He obviously doesn't want to go and has no idea what to do. Bouillon throws some more rights and Kotalik just tries to fend him off, throwing a few slap-style rights (the left glove stayed on). Kotalik breaks free of Bouillon and the linesman stops Bouillon from going after him again. Kotalik appears to have a shiner under his left eye.

Peters and Langdon, who had a few chats earlier, meet again. Langdon drops the stick and gloves and throws a few rights. Peters looks like he might turtle to draw a penalty, but then drops them and throws a right back. Peters throws two more that hit helmet. Langdon tries a right, it falls short. A right by Peters hits the side of the head, and he lands a decent right. Peters misses two more rights. A Langdon right grazes the side of the helmet. Short right by Langdon hits helmet. An uppercut by Peters hits Langdon's chest. Another helmet shot by Langdon. Peters throws two more rights to the helmet. Peters misses or may have grazed another right after some wrestling. They wrestle some more as the crowd starts booing. Langdon gets a short left and Peters tries to throw a right back and that sends him off-balance and he goes down. Pretty lengthy bout, Boulton-Langdon was longer.

Mair and Rivet separate from the pile during a scrum. Mair tries to get his right free and Rivet drops his right glove, throwing about five or six punches, mostly hitting the side of the head. Looked good, but not damaging. The linesmen jump in before Mair can straighten up, and Mair tried to throw a right as they came in. Mair isn't too happy.

Off the faceoff they agree to go. Nice squareoff, Bouloton tries to grab on, but Stevenson gets his hand out of his jersey, so they squareoff some more, then grab on. Boulton has his left hand wrapped around Stevenson's neck and they are trading rights to the back and side of each other's helmets while spinning around. Boulton then throws Stevenson to the ice.

Boulton and Neil collide behind the Ottawa net and decide to go. They each exchange rights as Boulton shakes the elbow pad free and throws another right. Neil lands a right as Boulton misses one. Three rights by Boulton hit the side of the head and he takes a knee, but jumps back up. Boulton's helmet is dislodged as Neil throws a few rights. They each throw a right that comes up short. They wrestle and Neil tries to switch to the left, but nothing much there, as Boulton slips again. Neil throws a left and grazes another one on Boulton's face, as Boulton returns fire with a hard right hand. He misses two more and Neil nails him with a right uppercut. A right uppercut by Boulton doesn't connect. Neil tosses his helmet off for whatever reason and Boulton appears a bit confused. Neil throws two uppercuts, but they looked pretty weak, and a noogie to the back of the head. Neil lands a left as Boulton throws a right and Neil slips. Boulton starts chucking lefts as Neil is on the ice, and its over.

Down 4-0 Peters sends Stevenson an invitation. They squareoff, come together and Peters starts with a couple rights, maybe landing one. At the faceoff they drop the gloves and have a nice squareoff. They come together with Boulton getting a good right in. They hold on and Peat gets the helmet off of Boulton and throws five or six rights with most hitting the side of the head. They then hold on again and Peat gets a right free and gets a nice punch in. He then switches to the left and gets a big uppercut and Boulton finally gets free and misses a huge haymaker and falls.

Peters didn't drop his gloves. Both were in close against the boards, Nazarov threw several punches to the back of Peters head and then ripped his helmet off. He continued to throw several more to the back of Peters head and then the linesmen stepped in. Other Penalties: Nazarov received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Andrew Peters did not receive a fighting major.

Clymer and Kalinin start mixing it up, and Clymer drops the gloves and starts throwing rights. This catches Kalinin off guard, who drops them late. Clymer lands two rights, Kalinin misses two, then catches Clymer with a right and drops him, tko. Other Penalties: Each player received a roughing.

They squareoff at center ice and shadow box for a few moments. They grab a hold of each other with the lefts. Johnson throws a couple of jersey-jab lefts, and then throws a bomb of a right hand that cracks Peters on the side of the head. Helmet or not, Peters goes to his knees. Peters is trying to get up, throwing a wild right or two as Johnson does the same. Peters regains his balance and Johnson throws another right hand bomb that lands square and puts Peters to the ice. KO Johnson. Peters takes a few seconds on the ice and then gets to the penalty box.

They squareoff and come together. Peters lands a huge right uppercut and Domi goes down. Domi gets right back up and Peters throws three more rights with little damage done. Peters throws a right to the side of the head. Domi tries to get a right uppercut in, but it doesn’t go anywhere. After some grappling, Peters throws a left that hits Domi on the back. Peters goes down to his knees, but gets back up and throws a big right, which misses and ends up sending him off-balance and crashing to the ice. Domi throws one or two lefts at Peters once he’s down.

Langdon gives him a few jersey grabbing hand lefts. Peters throws a right that doesn’t connect, then another one. Langdon avoids some more rights and finally throws one of his own. Peters lands a good right. A couple more little lefts by Langdon and Peters throws two more rights. Peters tries an uppercut that misses, Langdon lands a right in response. Peters lands a decent right of his own. More jersey hand lefts by Langdon, Peters misses with another right and makes a “come on” gesture, looking a bit annoyed. Langdon misses a left. Peters throws two rights to the side of the head. Langdon grazes a left, a right by Peters comes up short. Langdon tries a right, but it doesn’t come close to reaching. Peters lands a right. Another right by Langdon comes up short, and then a second also misses. Langdon avoids another right by Peters. Right comes up short, Peters ducks a left. Peters pushes his own helmet off (in another attempt to egg Langdon on) and gets tagged by a nice right in the process. Guess it worked. A right by Peters hits shoulder. Peters tries to shake the elbow pad loose as Langdon throws another left. They throw a few more nothing rights at each other, and the linesmen finally break it up. Long fight.

The linesmen are about to step in, but he gets back up and Peters misses another right. Fedoruk pushes him into the net and they grapple. Peters throws a right, Fedoruk responds with one of his own. Fedoruk gets pushed against the boards as he tries to get his right free, maybe getting in a grazing shot. Fedoruk gets turned to the side and Peters switches to the left and lands a decent punch. He then misses a left. Peters throws two wild rights that misses and he falls over. The linesmen jump in.

Gagne pushes Hecht from behind. Hecht pushes back, and the gloves drop. Hecht might have thrown a right, but really not a fight, they just fall to the ice grappling. Other Penalties: Hecht received a high sticking.

Doull takes a run at Taylor and Peters challenges him. Doull obliges and throws a punch that doesn’t connect. Peters pins him against the boards, and Doull misses another right. Peters starts swinging away with the right, mostly hitting helmet. It’s enough to make the much smaller Doull turn away, but he throws a couple of more in there, including a nice left. Peters dumps his own helmet off and continues to throw until Doull hits the ice. Peters had a cut on his nose, probably caused by his helmet. Spirited scrap, but not a whole lot landed all that well.

Nice even squareoff, they dive in and Boulton gets in a left, Godard a right. They lock up, exchange rights, grapple and Godard gets Boulton's helmet off. In the grapple, the few punches exchanged are mostly Boulton's. Godard then possibly lands a right hand, because Boulton goes down and is cut on the forehead.

These two had words early in the game and this time they decide to go. They get in close and grapple for position while Boulton is preoccupied trying to free himself of his elbow pad. O'Donnell sneaks in a nice right and another right, can't tell if it landed or not. Boulton retaliates with a couple of rights, one landing flush. Boulton then switches to the left, landing one, then throws an overhand right which does nothing but throw them both off-balance. On the way down O'Donnell throws a right which misses.

They squareoff near center ice. Boulton throws three or four rights, nothing landing. Boulerice starts firing back, but doesn't land anything either. Boulton hits the ice clutching his shoulder and Boulerice lets up. Boulton heads to the dressing room with a shoulder injury.

Shortly after the Boulton-Boulerice fight, these guys go by the bench. Mair was hammering away with left uppercuts on a ducking Adams to start. Landed one or two, the rest hit helmet. Adams comes back and lands a nice punch. Mair starts firing shots at a ducking Adams again. Adams throws a big left that looks like it hit shoulder and Mair goes down. Adams throws a right once they're down.

Langdon throws a light left. Peters misses a right. Langdon lands a left as Peters again motions for him to start throwing. Langdon throws another left, Peters responds with two rights. Langdon throws a right to the side of the head. A couple of rights by Peters come up short. Peters misses a right, but then lands a decent shot. Langdon misses a right, and then both land good shots at the same time. Seems like Langdon is finally opening up as he throws two rights to the side of the head. Langdon lands a left, Peters a right. Langdon throws a right to the side of the head, then a right uppercut that doesn’t land. Peters misses a straight right, but lands it on the second try. Langdon misses a right, then lands a left. Peters lands a right to the side of the head. Each has their right hand cocked, but the linesmen have seen enough and break it up. Typical Langdon bout.

He gets back up and they circle more, come together, and Perrott lands a right and then they hold on and try to throw a couple of weak punches and then go down.

They both land a couple then tie each other up pretty well. Boynton has Kalinin in a tough spot and lands about four good uppercuts. Kalinin will not be deterred and starts firing the right with his head down, landing some good ones as Boynton is still throwing the uppercuts, also landing. Boynton switches to the left and lands a nice uppercut then switches back to the right landing another uppercut. Kalinin was bleeding from the bridge of the nose and went to the room for repairs. Other Penalties: Chris Drury received a high sticking.

Mair throws a left, Majesky a right or two. Mair gets thrown down, but they're allowed to get up and continue. Mostly more grappling, a right thrown by Majesky, then Mair lands a big left, and that's pretty much it. An uppercut by Sarich just misses. Peters grazes a right, Sarich misses with a response. Peters lands a right that looks to sting Sarich a bit and he buries his head. Peters shoves the helmet off and throws one to the back of the head. The linesmen come in and it’s over. Other Penalties: Sarich received an unsportsmanlike conduct.
