The fight happened at the same time as Boulerice-Hordichuk, right in front of the goal. The play ended and for some reason these guys just dropped the gloves. It was nothing but wrestling and jockeying for position.

After play died Boulerice was looking for Hordichuck who charged on him pretty quickly. After skating toward the center of the Florida zone both threw a couple of nothing rights, then Boulerice got spun around. When Boulerice got up he tried to go southpaw, but Hordi charged him again before Boulerice got set and tied Boulerice in his jersey. After that Hordichuck tried to get in some overhead rights, but either missed or caught helmet while Boulerice fluttered two week rights that missed.

Real short fight. Gratton comes to the defense of Brian Savage who got hit against the boards by Ritchie. Gratton looked to throw a few rights and Ritchie immediately fell (looked like a balance issue). Hordi tried to get Hulse to go while this fight was going on. Instead he got 2 minutes for roughing. Other Penalties: Darcy Hordichuk received a roughing.

Darcy lays a hit on a Ranger and Simon chases him all over ice. Hordi waits a little and they get along boards and then Darcy throws off gloves and starts chucking lefts, landing a couple of decent ones. Simon then answers back with a couple of good lefts. Solid lefts by both guys, they spin and Simon is a little stronger with the control. He lands one or two more lefts late.

This one starts at the same time as Hordi-Simon, but on the opposite side of the ice and the camera doesn't focus on them for a bit. When they do both guys are throwing right hands and spinning. Odelein falls on top at end.

30 seconds left in the game and Fedoruk steps out onto the ice, skates down to Trnka, pushes, shoves and drops the glove. Fridge trys to throw a right, but Jokinen steps in. Everyone on the ice jumps in, and through the scrum Fridge pops Jokinen with a decent right. Esche and Shields had their gloves off but it was all broken up. Other Penalties: Fedoruk received an instigator and misconduct; Oli Jokinen a game misconduct; Robert Esche and Steve Shields each received a leaving the crease.

The two agree to go right after the faceoff. They drop em, Hordichuk lands two, Neil lands two and misses with a third as Hordichuk spins madly off-balance. Neil then lands one on Hordichuk before the linesman jumps in.

Buchy and Odelein drop them off a faceoff and bearhug. They pull apart somewhat and Buchy misses a right. Odelein throws a left over a hunched over Buchy's head, then throws two more lefts, one into Buchy's back, the other grazing the top of his helmet. They twirl a little, then both start firing lefts. odelein throws a short, downward left that hits Buchy on the cheek. Buchy hits Odelein on the cheek as well. They both land lefts on each other's cheek again. Buchberger then ducks to avoid a left while throwing one himself and nails Odelein, dropping him.

They were going to fight at the end of the first period, but it didn't happen until the third, and even then not much happened. During the play Danton pokes Samuelsson with his stick as he passes. Immediately Samuelsson grabs a hold of Danton, who throws off his gloves. Samuelsson gets his gloves off, and the two grapple, Samuelsson pushing Danton against the boards at the Blues bench. Samuelsson swings with a short one, which may have landed, but Danton forces Samuelsson back a couple of steps. They continue to hold on.Danton lands a couple of low blows and one or two short ones to the shoulder/neck area that don't do much. Danton hits Samuelsson in the back of the neck, and the latter pounds on Danton's back twice. Soon the hair of both men comes into play as they get head locks on each other and it looks a bit like a cat fight. The linesmen come in, as both players are bent over, side-to-side, holding on. Danton tries to get another couple in as the two are on the ice under the linesmen. Other Penalties: Danton received a slashing.

MacDonald took a run at Dingman and Dingman drops his gloves. MacDonald was doing well until Hordichuk went after Dingman and broke the fight up. Other Penalties: Darcy Hordichuk received a misconduct; Lyle Odelein a holding.

They drop the gloves immediately after the faceoff. Rossiter starts things off with two rights to the back of Kostopoulos' head as Kostopoulos returns fire with two rights of his own. Rossiter switches to the left as both fire punches that miss. Kostopoulos throws three more rights as Rossiter throws a right while trying to fend off Kostopoulous' rights. Kostopoulos goes down to a knee for a moment, allowing Rossiter to gain control and throw two rights while Kostopoulos is trying to right himself. Rossiter throws a few body shots as Kostopoulos throws a few rights. They exchange right hands again before Kostopoulos wrestles Rossiter to the ice.

With his team down and semi-lifeless Odelein tries to sir it up by going after Godard. They meet up after a whistle and drop em. Godard gets position and throws several good rights. Odelein tries to answer, but Godard is controlling fight and hit Odelein with several big rights. It looked like he let up at end.

Three seconds left in the game and these two decide to go. Camera got there a little late. They had each other tied up and Exelby threw a couple of rights and Odelein threw a couple of lefts, none of which landed. Exelby switched hands and tried to get the left going and Odelein's jersey came up over his head. The linesmen jumped in quickly. Other Penalties: Exelby received a slashing; Odelein a cross checking.

McNeill puts the stick between Barnaby's legs and tries to get him to go. As they skate up the ice Simon comes over and shoves McNeill. Another Florida player skates over to Simon to shove him. McNeill drops the gloves and starts hitting Simon with right hands, some of which hit. Simon is trying to get in fighting position as he was essentially caught off-guard by McNeil. Once Simon is squared away he starts hammering McNeill with a barrage of lefts. A solid left to McNeill's jaw snaps his head back and puts him down to one knee. To McNeill's credit he gets right back up and both players trade a few more punches before the linesman step in.

Off the draw Tucker just drops his gloves and waits for Ritchie to drop his, as soon as Ritchie does he catches Tucker off-guard and throws about three punches at will. Tucker then starts throwing as well, not much landing for either guy in this flurry. Tucker then went down hard, seemed as though he was off-balance, but it might have been a punch it happened really fast. Tucker went off for repairs.

They decide it's time to dance and they both grab on trying to get an advantage. Hordi's sweater immediately ends up over his head as his tie-down wasn't tied tight. Perrott starts firing the pistons, landing numerous blows to the top of the hunched over Hordichuk's head. Hordi then gets free of all that and starts swinging back landing a couple of his own and getting the take down. Not much damage done to Perrott even though he was bloody, he got right back up.

Last minute of overtime, and these two are jostling off the faceoff. Lilja throws a gloved-punch at Jovanovski near the boards as they battle to the front of the net. They drop them, Jovanovski throws a big right and down goes Lilja, and the linesmen jump in.

Fight starts behind the play. Hordichuk was firing with lefts, one may have landed. Semenov threw a couple of rights, all missing. Semenov was using his reach to keep Hordi from landing any real blows. Hordi then switches to try to get something going with the right, but nothing happening there either. Semenov may have thrown three or four punches the whole fight while Hordi had 'em going with not many landing.

Fight by the Florida bench. Ferguson threw several lefts, with a few landing. Then some huggin and tuggin, and Ferguson throws a few more lefts with one or two landing, no real damage though. Ritchie tried to sneak one in, but missed and then went for the takedown. Other Penalties: Darcy Hordichuk received a misconduct.

Worrell runs a Panther and Hordi goes straight after him. Hordi is skating backwards facing Worrell as Worrell just stands there and smiles at Hordi. Finally Hordi just shakes his gloves and throws a right that connects. Worrell drops his gloves and grabs on. Worrell is trying to keep him at arms-length as they each throw a couple of rights that didn't connect. Hordi threw two lefts underneath of Worrell's extended arm that looked to connect. Worrell pulls Hordi's jersey over his head and snaps the tie-down. Hordi then loses his shoulder pads and pops Worrell with a right to the side of the head that stunned him and knocked him down.

Verot shoulders Hordichuk in front of the Panthers' bench and the drops them instantly. Verot lands a right to the side of Hordi's head, then misses or grazes another. Hordichuk throws a right to a ducking Verot's shoulder. They throw rights at the same time. Verot's grazing and Hordi's landing and knocking Verot to his knees. Hordi throws a right, then a body shot to Verot, who's trying to regain his balance. Hordi throws a downward right that misses. Verot gets up and gets tagged with another right, while his right just misses Hordichuk. Verot ducks and turns from the punch and Hordi catches Verot's shoulder with a right. They both throw rights that get caught up in each other's punches. They throw three rights in stereo with only Hordi's last seeming to put an off-balance Verot back to his knee. Other Penalties: Verot received a charging.

Doull wants this one after a faceoff in Florida's zone and Hordi obliges. They start quick, Doull with the left and Hordi with the right. Doull than switches to the right and they trade bombs for at least five seconds toe to toe. Doull may have outlanded him and looked to land his more flush. Hordi switched up nicely at the end landing a good right before pulling Doull down.

They meet up near the Hawks' bench, drop the gloves and away they go. For a good 12 seconds they go toe to toe exactly the way you'd think these two would. Vandy sticks with the left the whole time, while Hordi start with the right, mixes in a few lefts, goes back to the right, and switches back and forth again. Many punches from both sides landing. They finally tire a bit, get in-close and the linesmen come in. Hordi skates away with a nick on his nose, and Vandy's got multiple small cuts on his face. Excellent bout.

These two line up next to each other and off the faceoff they drop the mitts. Roy starts off with a few rights, then Hordichuck answers back and Roy loses his balance. Roy gets up and throws a couple more rights, but Hordichuck quickly responds with some of his own. Roy falls again, and the linesmen come in to try and break it up, but Hordichuck throws a shot while Roy was down and Roy starts firing away while on his back. Both guys mimic each other by dusting off their hands on the way to the penalty box.

These two drop the gloves in front of the net after some pushing and shoving and Dingman starts off with some early rights. Biron responds by throwing some big rights to Dingman's head and then Dingman takes him down. Other Penalties: Martin Cibak and Nathan Horton each received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

Hordichuk goes to his opposite wing so you knew this was gonna happen. Seemed Perrott knew it was coming and he got the jump and landed two quick punches right at the glove drop. They start throwing, Hordi with the rights, Perrott with the lefts. Each are swinging a bit wild, and Perrott is off-balance for the most part. Hordichuk's able to push-n-tug Perrott down and throw a few more rights as the linesmen come in.

Hordi punches Antropov in the face so Marchment comes in. He gives Hordichuk a light shot in the face to convince him to throw down. Darcy goes with it and they both throw wildly. They're in a spin and Hordi is able to get an off-balance Marchment to go down and throws a shot or two at him while he's going down. Other Penalties: Marchment received an unsportsmanlike conduct; Mikael Samuelsson a hooking.

They square off and it looked like Boulerice got a good right in. No damage done to Hordi and both start throwing wild haymakers and Hordi loses his jersey. Both miss with tons of bombs and Hordi gets the takedown.

After the play, Odelein is poking at Lehtonen and Exelby throws a gloved-left to Odelein's chest to get him away from his goalie. Odelein drops the gloves and grabs Exelby, then they hug and try to get position. Ends with them holding on and the linesmen step in. Not sure if anything was thrown or landed, mostly jockeying for position.

Early in the game Neil checks a Panther into the boards. Jones comes over and taps Neil with his stick and Neil taps him right back. They drop the gloves and Neil is trying to connect with the right and Jones with the left. They awkwardly trade throws with nothing hard connecting.
