Comments: Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and square off for an extended period of time. They finally grab ahold of each other and Norton throws two quick rights to the side of Roy's helmet. The two grapple for a short moment and then exchange two hard rights. Roy starts pumping away with the right and Norton sneaks in two rights while Roy is throwing away. Norton then lands another right flush and Roy stops throwing. Roy then wrestles Norton to the ice and the linesmen are right there to send the two to the penalty boxes.

Comments: Peters gives Norton a jab with his stick while the two are skating into the Sabres' zone, causing Norton to turn around and immediately drop his gloves. Peters follows suit and they grab ahold of each other with Norton throwing an early right. Norton follows with with a pair of body shots just before Peters attempts two rights. Peters throws two more rights and Norton four more shots before Norton loses his balance and starts to fall to the ice. While he is falling, Peters gets Norton in a headlock and starts throwing short rights. Peters gets in two more while Norton is down on the ice and the linesmen are quick to rush in.

Comments: The whistle blows to stop play and the two drop the gloves, squaring off near the blueline. Norton grabs ahold of Ivanans and throws five rights while Ivanans tries to move away from the punches. Ivanans throws a right, but Norton loses his balance and falls to the ice, taking Ivanans down with him. Norton's helmet rolls off and Ivanans hits him with a couple of short lefts while he's down on the ice. The linesmen then skate in and send the two to the penalty box.

Comments: The two come together along the boards and decide to drop the gloves. They quickly grab ahold of each other with O'Brien throwing a right to start things off. Norton responds with a right of his own, but the momentum of the punch sends both players falling to the ice. The linesmen skate over and send the two to their respective penalty boxes. Norton skates to the box holding his wrist in pain.
