They drop the gloves while skating across the blueline. Shelley rips Roy's helmet off as the two exchange right hands to start things off. Shelley throws an overhand right as Roy attempts locked-out rights of his own. Roy tries to shake off his elbow pad before Shelley throws a right that hits Roy's back. Roy turns around and throws two rights to the back of Shelley's helmet before they lose balance and fall to the ice.

Shortly after Armstrong and Hainsey drop the gloves, these two decide to have a scrap of their own. They wrestle along the boards as Roy gets loose and throws a right. Shelley then wrestles Roy to the ice and holds him there until the two return to their feet. Shelley connects with two rights as Roy throws two overhand rights that miss. They each attempt a locked-out right before Shelley comes over the top with a right that knocks Roy's helmet off. They fall to the ice again and the linesmen come in shortly after. Other Penalties: Each player received a game misconduct.

Before the puck even drops, Roy sheds his gloves and his stick and challenges Doull. The linesmen instruct Roy to pick up his equipment and wait for the faceoff. The puck drops and the two drop the gloves and square off. Doull grabs on and misses with a left. Roy throws four straight rights with Doull throwing two of his own before they let go of each other. Roy takes off his elbow pad as Doull skates over and hits Roy with an overhand right while Roy is bent over. They wrestle around for a short while and Doull continues to keep Roy bent over. Doull switches hands and throws a right before ripping Roy's helmet off. They spin around as Doull throws an overhand left before Roy lands two rights and both guys lose their balance and fall to the ice.

Right off of the faceoff the two stare each other down before dropping the gloves and squaring off. They grab ahold of each other and grapple as Commodore throws three overhand rights as Roy tries to respond with a locked-out right of his own. Roy then lands a straight right just as Commodore throws a right cross. Roy then throws a flurry of rights with a few landing and Commodore throws a body shot and tries to duck away from Roy's punches. Commodore gets turned around and Roy lands five rights to the back of his helmet. Commodore throws a right in defense as Roy lands another right to the side of Commodore's head. Commodore then falls to the ice and the linesmen rush in. Roy skates off shaking his hand in pain.

Roy passes the puck to Tomas Surovy and then becomes the victim of a hit by Denis Gauthier along the boards. Roy gets back up, drops his gloves, and immediately goes after Gauthier. Roy throws four rights as Gauthier turtles to the ice. Eric Desjardins skates over to help Gauthier as Roy gets one more right in before players and linesmen pile in. Other Penalties: Roy received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Denis Gauthier did not receive a fighting major.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. They grab ahold of each other and grapple with Roy being able to get behind Erskine and throw three rights to the back of his head. Erskine returns fire with three rights of his own while Roy is bent over. Roy then throws a quick right before throwing a flurry of five straight rights while Erskine tries to avoid the punches and throw the occasional shot. The two exchange jersey-jabs and Erskine misses with a big overhand right just as Roy loses his balance and falls to the ice.
