Sorry for the unexpected, lengthy absence,
but I've been travelling the planet with work lately,
and it it turns out that this ''empire building'' thing
is actually much harder than it looks on TV.

Nonetheless, I'm back,,, but after missing such a gap in the action,
I'm going to have to switch to reviewing the season on a fight by fight basis, as opposed to historically. That's just a preemptive strike at the haters, and their inevitable...;'' but what about the time...? '' ragging.

In short, the porcupine has been scraped off of the car, the castle has expanded, and moat is secure, and after a month of sketchy hotel Internet connections...I'm ''jonesing'' for some good scraps.

By the way,,, missed you guys... even the haters.

As for this...
Boll (wisely) tries to use his reach to keep his distance,
but in the end, those jersey jabs were no match
for the nasty rights Clowe rained down on his head
at every opportunity.

Clowe on points. I wonder why he wastes his talent as a power forward for fights against chumps like Boll but he was trying to rally the troops down 2-0.

Don't look now but Columbus is a contender with Scott Arniel behind the bench.

Boll usually protects himself very well - as in this case.
Clowe the aggessor but limited by Boll's reach.
Will give edge to Clowe for his willingness to at least exchange...

Kind of silly little punches Clowe was throwing. I was waiting for him to break out the Indian Burns on Boll. Entertaining either way.

Clowe controlled fight, even went down and came back up to really dominate. I kept waiting for Boll to unload but he never did. Good fight to watch, but expected more from Boll.
