Prust doesn't land much with Tanner landing a few in the middle. Clear draw.

Posted by micah555 on December 27, 2009 at 11:59 PM

I'll give it a draw... maybe Prust gets the edge. There was a flurry thrown by each guy, nothing too damaging. There should be a rematch.

That's twice in a row now Prust has challenged Glass and not come close to Rypien. He's got now interest in scrapping with Ryp after the beatings he took. Tanner seems to be more Prust's cup of tee. Thats 2 decent scraps between them this year.

I'll give Prust credit for not getting embarrassed on home ice again by fighting Rypien. We've all seen how that stories played out. No credit for staying away from the 170 pound wrecking ball though. Although it might be smart, it's actually kind of gutless. But he did do well against Glass in this fight. Claire - you're just one big walking, nonsense talking contradiction aren't you? On one hand you say that Glass is "an honest battler" and then you say that he's a cheat and that it looked like he wanted to be somewhere else during this fight. Excuse me??? Honest and cheat = contradiction. Battler and wanting to be somewhere else = contradiction. The sooner that you go away, the sooner that you'll stop embarrassing you and your family because of the shit that you spew. Claire, I'm really starting to wonder if you can actually read or not! You said that Glass was an honest battler. Yet you called him a cheat and said that it looked like he wanted to be somewhere else during the fight. Those were YOUR WORDS!I never said that honest and battler were contradictory. What I said was that honest(which you called him) and cheat(which you also called him) were contradictory. Same thing as when you said that he was a battler, yet you say that he wanted to be somewhere else during this fight, yet that is contradictory as well. I'm staring to think that you actually are a chick(besides your namesake) because you change your mind, or can't make up your mind and I'm really not too sure what the fuck planet that you're actually on.

draw....very close.

Posted by metz87 on December 27, 2009 at 10:48 PM

I never knew you got kicked out of the gmae if your jersey is not tied down properly, strange rule to me. Anyways this way a long fight that was very tiring, wish they threw more punches instead of just grabbing each other's jerseys. strated good then notng then some more activity at the end

Posted by Messier3499 on December 28, 2009 at 11:52 AM

Great hockey fight -- impressed with both of them -- I really like Glass and his attitude -- Panthers made a big mistake letting him go

Posted by Finkov on December 28, 2009 at 08:38 AM

They gotta change the jersey tie down rule! Should be just a 2 min. penalty! Good scrap though!

Posted by hkhk on December 28, 2009 at 12:38 PM

great bout ton of punches thrown...

Posted by pimking21 on December 27, 2009 at 10:55 PM

wow that was a very good fight. alot of heart by those two to go that long. im not a big fight analysts, i hate that shit. i just like seeing a good fight. so ill call it a draw and give credit to them both. nice fight

Posted by bruins rule on December 27, 2009 at 10:48 PM

good long fight between these 2 guys.

Posted by rpw1 on December 27, 2009 at 10:42 PM

Wow!! Great scrap, I score this a draw. Good battle by both these guys.

Posted by von_swine on December 28, 2009 at 02:28 AM

there are worse players in the league than Glass, but not many. They should just double shift Hordi, go w/17 on the bench and save the $$$.

Posted by PaulAbbott on December 27, 2009 at 11:42 PM

Neither got a great shot in. I've never seen the tango performed live. Gave Glass a 2 for how good he was because the dummy didn't put tie his jersey down.

Prust happy to not get Rypien again

Posted by Gunslinger on December 28, 2009 at 07:44 AM

Edge to Prust, he did better than I thought he would. Props to Prust.

Prust gets the W in a close bout... buffalo is the tapeworm capital...

Posted by swimeveryday on December 28, 2009 at 03:51 AM

Some of these reviews puzzle me. Take a good look and score the bout by punches thrown and landed. It wasn't close.

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 27, 2009 at 11:15 PM

Prust handles Glass Joe, in the way Rypien previously handled him.

Posted by shrk33 on January 01, 2010 at 05:57 PM

Prustt wins this fight with that flurry at the end. Nice long battle

Posted by tyrone on December 28, 2009 at 10:52 PM

Give me a middle weight fight over a lousy HW fight. I agree with FINCOV. 2 min for the jersey.

Posted by Ricer on December 29, 2009 at 04:37 PM

I'd love to have Prust in a Sabres jersey...he's a beauty. Prust is the new Rob Ray, PJ Stock...not the biggest guy but loves to just throw punches none of this tie up crap that makes hockey fights boring now a days. Good on em.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on December 28, 2009 at 03:19 AM

nice to see Prust dropping them again. W for Prust

Posted by Towmater on December 28, 2009 at 12:15 PM

did Glass land anything? Tie down your jersey and learn to aim!

Posted by hal29 on December 27, 2009 at 10:46 PM

win prust!!!

Posted by Awesome-0 on December 28, 2009 at 01:10 AM

Glass must be in the line-up for his willingness to fight because it sure ain't for his fighting skills.

Posted by jkluhr on December 29, 2009 at 10:16 AM

ALL Prust, Glass didn't even land one solid punch.

Posted by Sasky001 on December 28, 2009 at 09:17 AM

Stortini got the fake mohawk haircut so the he can hold on better.

Posted by Sox on December 28, 2009 at 06:44 AM

Even as a Vancouver fan, I have to give it to Prust. One thing I have noticed, and I noticed in Rippers fight last night with Stortini, Vancouvers players seem to have a lot more stamina than most. Huggy was done last night at teh end, breathing heavy, slouching etc. I know it was a longish fight, but Ripper looked way fresher. And it was similar tonight, Prust was done, and by comparison, Glass, looked a lot fresher......... Sox

Posted by probie83 on January 09, 2010 at 08:26 AM

Why do so many fighters sport the old white trash mohawk. win prust.

Posted by apollo13jim on December 28, 2009 at 09:44 AM

Good one.

Posted by boldbilly on December 28, 2009 at 10:58 AM

kind of close but Prust the winner for sure.

Posted by crosscheck52 on December 28, 2009 at 12:58 AM

This was close: Prust with a slight edge.

Prust with a dominating win. Not even close!

Good fight. Prust with a good edge.

Posted by Budwiper on December 27, 2009 at 11:27 PM

Glass hung in but I think Prust landed the better punches, althou Glass connected on a few but i think prust connected on more leading to my slight edge to prust.....

Posted by Pocker on December 27, 2009 at 11:36 PM

great scrap, long lasting but no boring holding/turtling prust wins

Posted by rocky 1 on December 28, 2009 at 10:38 PM

Prust took it to glass and landed the most by far! Finally he wins one!

Posted by shaynaglass on January 08, 2010 at 01:56 PM

I don't see how this is easily a win for Prust. Its not.

Posted by Rypien37 on December 28, 2009 at 12:23 AM

Prust too scared to fight Rypien............

Posted by usedtolikefla on December 30, 2009 at 02:24 AM

bunch of idiots on here.. Glass had a lot more left in the tank than prust did.. if he didn't yell at the linesmen for getting in there early they likely wouldn't have kicked him out.. It's a judgement call on their part and they'll usually give the guy the benefit of the doubt.. especially at that stage of the fight.. but yelling at them did him in. anyways.. win goes to Tanner. He's having a great year and getting alot of playing time to show for it.

Posted by teebo on December 28, 2009 at 04:35 AM

prust > cancucks

Posted by tomales2 on December 28, 2009 at 08:44 AM

Prust barely. I've never been in a hockey fight but God it must be frustrating/infuriating trying to disentangle yourself in order to throw many punches.

Posted by piney on December 28, 2009 at 07:39 PM

edge Prust. ok fight

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 08, 2015 at 12:55 AM

Prust outlasted Glass

aaawwww mom we have to come inside? prust

Posted by claire alexande on January 01, 2010 at 04:55 PM

Easy win for Prust, as Tanner cheats and still can't win. Still, Tanner is one of the few Capukes I can stand; the guy's an honest battler. Tanner really looked like he wanted to be somewhere else for much of this. For the idiots saying Prust was "afraid" of Rypien, the little midget was very quiet this game. Wonder if that was some kind of hangover from his loss to Scrotini the night before. Loved how Hordichick spent every second he was on the ice running away from McGrattan in abject terror. ------ dbhof--cheat and battler are not necessarily contradictory. Consider your namesake, for instance. And what about Horridchik? ----- dbhof--I'll explain this really slow for you. Glass is a honest battler in that he is usually willing to go, even if he's likely to get clocked, and not pussy out like Hordichik. A battler may well wish he was somewhere else, depending on what's happening to him. For example, I'll bet Prust wished he was somewhere else at the end of his first fight with Rypien. Please provide us with your rationalization for Hordichik's running away from McGrattan all night long.

Prusty!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Posted by djh700 on December 27, 2009 at 11:03 PM

A lot of punching, not a lot of landing. DDDDEEEERRRRAAAAWWWW.

Posted by DrBt on December 28, 2009 at 10:07 AM

just because he fought one guy doesnt mean hes too scared to fight the other, two guys fought and one came out a winner, when rypien fights prust you dont see anyone complaining that rypien was too afraid to fight brian mcgratten, get your head out of your arses you dumb punks prust wins by a landslide in a fight that was accepted by a willing combatant

Posted by samtheman on December 28, 2009 at 08:19 AM

Easy win for Prust.
