That was the mismatch of the season.

This fight would be the equivalent of Godard going after Alfredson. If there is a Senator fan in the house- you should feel embarrassed. Maybe Carkner will be a Flyer next year, he would fit right in there. Adams clocked Alfredson cleaanly and it was clearly shoulder to shoulder.

Oh and Zona-get your facts straight. Alfredson hurt his shoulder not his head, The hit was clean and he put himself into a vulnerable position. You're not a Flyer fan are you?!?!

Carkner won easily in this one.

Godard WILL be in the line up next time and WILL answer to this. Carkner better show some stones and go after someone that is larger than 6'0" 195lbs. I know why Carkner went after Adams, but he didn't let Adams even get his gloves off completely. Next matchup Godard will introduce Carkners face to some heavy rights.

p.s. Still lovin the jealous Philthadelphia cryer fans comments on hating the pens which has nothing to do with this fight or any other fight. Get a life morons, your team has sucked since 75, can't win with a 35 year old style. The Pens hit (leading the league in hits), fight, score, play defense and most importantly win most of their games. Where are the Cryers???? oh yeah dead last in the atlantic! suck on that you fat f*ck losers! 1975, 1975, 1975, 1975!

Adams had to pay the "price" for the hit, dirty or not. Good for him for trying to fight the bigger Carkner. As for those people who think that Carkner is a goon, he isn't. That is not his job, he is a tough defenceman playing big minutes a game. It wouldn't make sence to go out and fight Goddard when it was Adams who was the "culprit". Now it is in Goddards hands to avenge Adams..... in the same way, for the same reasons.....

Easy win Carkner . Retribution for a questionable hit on the captain.

Mismatch. Adams paid for the elbow on Sens captain.

Adams was clearly dominated. But at least he answered the bell. Maybe he should fight Matt Bradley. I don't know if either guy has ever won a fight.

At least Adams did not run and hide, the rest, he totally deserves no matter if it was clean or not on Alfie - he had to pay for it and I hope Carkner is not done with him yet.

Carkner's turning into one of my least favorite fighters. He gets the win and should feel so very proud of himself.

Im giving it a draw because of the crap cheapshot at the end. Well Pens crushed them 8-2.
