This is a draw. Sestito started out very well landing multiple punches. The rest was pretty even with not much landing. Tootoo might've got 1 or 2 in at the end which evened it up.
Takedowns don't mean anything in a hockey fight noobs.

Pretty good fight except for the ending. Both landed some good punches, but Sestito ducked, leaving his head in range for a couple of bombs. Draw.

Can't give tootoo a KO since the ice caused it. I'd love to see tootoo go with rypien......that would calm him down a bit!

Looks to me like Tootoo's last "punch" was really him using his hand/fist to drive Sestito's head into the ice. Notice how long Tootoo's fist stayed on Sestito's face. Only Tootoo knows for sure.

I can appreciate the passion of the Preds fans w their commentary of the fight , but Christ guys, homer googles in the preseason??
Sestito was out "after" he hit the ice. saying that he was KO'd before he hit the deck is just stupid.

tootoo gave him the fist at the end which drove his head into the ice. he kept going with the punch and prolly should have let up for his own safety.. could have hurt his wrist in that one.

anyways i hate tootoo and hes giving hockey the rep that we don't need. his suckerpunches and head hunting hits coming around the goal. just what we need when they are trying to get rid of hockey

It wasn't a huge fight. I was at the game as well. Sestito and Tootoo squared off, sans gloves, and the skated around eachother for a bit. Sestito landed a few on Toots, and Toots gave some back. Tootoo's helmet came off first, and after a little wrestling and punches from both sides, Sestito helmet came off as well. That's where the problem occurred. It ended up having Tootoo get Sestito off balance, and Sestito went down on his back, TooToo on top of him. Tootoo didn't throw him down, but it seemed to me that Sestito just lost balance, and Toots went over on top of him. I would have called it a draw, really.

What happened as they went down however, was that Sestito hit the back of his head on the ice and appeared to be unconscious immediately after the fight and didn't move fora while. After a min or so a stretcher was brought out, but Sestito finally got himself together and was assisted off the ice by two teammates. Both got 5 for fighting.

I was there at the game on the ice about 30 feet away from the fight. People can debate whether he was out before or after he hit the ice. Here is what I would like everyone to look at. Right before he went down, Tootoo caught him with an upper cut that landed right on the chin. Now, he may not have knocked him out, but it was clear from my vantage point that he at least blanked out for a second..It just happens that that second was what it took to hit the ice.

Very sad situation, but I will say this. As long as fighting is allowed in hockey, there will be things like this happen. Always has, always will. But even though I think Tootoo plays like a goon sometime, this was not a case of goonery. Sestito went after Tootoo and Tootoo accomodated the 6'5 bully. I am going to guess that Sestito learned a valuable lesson about playing with the big boys in the NHL

Judging from the blood on the back of his head, the KO came from the ice not a punch. Toots gets the win anyway.

They make that ice out of hard stuff these days, I guess. It looks like it wasn't so much the punch that put an end to Sestito's consciousness as hitting the ground. Tootoo is an extremely gifted fighter and shows it with this fight. Although Tom got his licks in too..
