Dick Irvin with the call as Tremblay snuck in after the shadow boxing routine and tattooed Schmautz with the solid right. You don't see it in this clip but Schmautz skated over to the Bruins bench and his teammates looked at the mouse under his eye with concern.

WOW! Took an eternity to start but that was a brutal first punch. How in the hell did he not go down like a ton of bricks? Guys back then were tougher than they are today... at least they seemed like they were.

Did that linesman say "You wanna go? Fine." and then skate away? Awesome.

WOW!!! Started LMAO!! I don't have much positive to say about the little 2 handed foreplay for 20 seconds before he threw the bomb, but that was awesome!

Maybe Trembley got the same approval from the Montreal crowd as Jonathan did in Boston; but I'd have to think the Schmautzy came out looking better than Bouchard did in his tuscle ...

And honestly, when was Schmautzy ever a fighter???

Win for Tremblay; in this one. Now go pick a fight with someone in your toughness category.
