Not sure why people think SJ won this fight but he played for Boston which explains alot. SJ sucker punches Moose and Bridge comes in and gives him some of his own medicine. Win Mel in a close fight, he landed all the punches you dopes.

you can't be the winner when you grab the pants and throw the opponent down

STAN THE PITBULL JONATHAN OF COURSE...ONE OF THE BEST FIGHTERS EVER

Stan Jonathon, one of my all-time favorites from the Dayton Gems of the old IHL. He first dispenses with "Moose" DuPont with one punch(he can be seen hunched over the bench), then survives a rear attack from Mel Bridgeman. After absorbing a couple of punches with seemingly no effect he slam Bridgeman to the ice and gets in a couple good shots before being separated. He also rips the ear strap from Bridgeman's helmet.

Bridgeman had to jump in after Jonathon gave Dupont a cheap shot. Moose appeared not to want a fight but verbally responded to the late hit on the icing.

A bit unconventional, but a win for SJ nonetheless. Love these classic fights!

Dupont skated to the bench because he had no nuts to take on Jonathan. Dupont was always around to pull and tug on whoever Schultz was fighting. Bridgeman was tough but got bested by Jonathan, and I hope that baby Dupont got his hello kitty band aid at the bench....
