After watching the first camera angle I was going to say Ott should go after somebody who wants to fight. But after watching the replay it was very clear Lundmark got himself into that situation.

If Ott is on your team, you love him, if he's not he's a little b!tch. Whatever. If you watch the end of the clip it shows pretty clearly that Lundmark crosschecks Ott while he's leaned over and nearly takes him out. Ott responds with a crosscheck back and they start yapping at each other. Lundmark also dropped his gloves first.

I'm not saying Ott is a nice guy on the ice - he probably deserved the initial crosscheck but if you actually pay attention to the clip I'd say it was a fair fight with two willing participants. Also, it's Ott with a clear victory.

Otter beat him!!!!!!

Would someone explain why this is not an instigator penalty on Ott? If that's not someone trying to start a fight, then what the hell is??

Ott next time you fight a no-fighter beat him up better so he doesn't make your team pay on the score sheet. You can tell he played with Avery for awhile, the two just won't drop them against a real opponent. Ott win

just proves again that ott is a wannabe tough guy

Steve Ott is a really tough guy. How about answering the bell when someone at least his own size wants to make him accountable. What a possy.

i don' think ott deserves the win here this was a crap fight. this kind of surprised because after ott's cowardly performance in boston last year were he ran away from a fight and provoked the b's from behind the protection of the refs i figured ott was a coward and pathetic but he surprised me here when he went after lundmark looking for a fight. still it was a crap fight and i'm not giving ott credit for the win. draw

draw looks like lundmark landed the only punch, ott wasnt really landing anything------who cares why they go they just do and thats what makes it fun-----your guy sucks my guy sucks your team sucks my team sucks who cares? enjoy the fights while you can before they get outlawed

Kind of a snoozer. Nice to see Otter able to drop the mitts again. He's been the best all around player for the Stars for the last little while. Atleast he tried to caffeinate the guys from Big D.
Doesn't really matter who won the fight. Lundmark stood up for himself and after sixty, his mates have scoreboard.
Anyone who thinks Ott is a tool (or whatever you people called him) is being ridiculous. As for my Stars...how 'bout ya mix in a win?

Uhh yah so azjim.....weak move by Ott? come now! Lundmark chucks the gloves off before Ott and could have capitalized but is obviously not the fighter type. Good win for Ott and down with the flames!
